I fly into Bangkok for a 3 1/2 week holiday in November and my flight gets in around 6:30 PM. A buddy of mine doesn't arrive until around midnight so I've got some time to kill. I arrived both evenings at 8:00 pm But the gogos start slowly from 8:15 pm Not much before 9:00 pm In fact. I left around 10:00 pm So I don't know how lively it is from 10:00 pm I got yelled at because I was caught red-handed taking a photo in the square courtyard. I didn't know that it was forbidden to take photos even outside otherwise I would have been more discreet.

Spanky's: pretty bad, it starts with a fake show, a girl dressed as a boy and a big sausage in a nightie dance on stage, girls come to dance for 10 minutes then it's empty again. Soda = 185 B.

Tycoon, 4 girls not super great (except one) who dance but the beer during happy hour is 99 B. Rather welcoming staff.

Billboard: by far the best gogo I visited in Nana plaza. The only one that is really worth the detour. Starts to really come alive from 9:00 pm The girls are pretty and most of them are smiling. I love the carousel that turns with many girls on it especially during team changes when they are all together. Funny, original and it saves you from having to move to see them all. Plus it's the cheapest beer 165 B.

Butterflies (180 B for a beer): the management seems to be the same as Billboard's. Several girls on 2 sets. From memory maybe about ten in all but really not hotties. A large volume of space that seems empty. But a few comfortable armchairs if you accept to be a little far from the stage.

AngelWitch: 5 ugly, old and pushy girls, big vulgar mamasan who yells, you want to run away. Soda 185 B.

Rainbow: only 8 girls but very pretty and smiling, Soda: 130.

Mandarin: nice decor, 6 girls on the first floor, average, you get bored after 10 minutes. Beer 180 B

Billboard is def most fun and the revolving stage is the highlight. To each his own but I think the music / DJ is best there also. Just a hoppin place. And still fun at 1 AM. Boots on the ground say Rainbow 5 is worth a look.
