On another of my misguided shopping adventures in Lat Phrao (the lifestyle mall, big but forgettable) found the Two Bee Complex in the 132 side alley of Lat Phrao road. When I looked confused at a black glass door with a guard he just made an obscene gesture with his hands and I knew I was right. Very local place with bar set up, the infamous chairs and even a disco. All deserted at 6 pm. Shabby host explained 2 girls each 1400 for shower, massage and special. When I was un enthusiastic about the selection and was on my way out he found a 3rd girl, now the pricing got 2 tier with my choice girl number 3 initially in the 1400 price range which was upgraded to 1600 plus a 50 baht lady drink. Upstairs is a kind of ST hotel, old but clean enough, no further cockroaches in plain sight. Service was functional but actually really enthusiastic and the girl surprisingly good looking, I have seen far worse in the Lord and the Pattaya soapies. They supposedly have sometimes foreigners, it is not far from a mall and a BTS stop but I would not recommend to go there unless the line up gets much better later. I might just have gotten lucky. And another item from the bucket list (run down cheap local brothel).

So why is this place still in business? These girls only need one ST session to make it worth it. 3000 baht is A LOT of money. For comparison, the average Thai worker makes only about 440 baht per day. The majority of the clientele are tourists from East Asian countries who don't know they're being ripped off (or don't care). You will not find any local Thai guys here, other than the bar workers. The majority of girls here speak basic English because that's the common language of the clientele.

Also as a 'mature' pale Westerner, I've never been made feel unwelcome. For any newbies in particular it's a fabulous place to dip your toe and neck into the BKK waters. Went in about 10 minutes before closing time, must have been still 50-100 FL still there, if you can't find at least one you like, then sorry there is something seriously wrong with you. The girl I picked was very appreciative of me picking her as she had plenty of competition for me to pick from.
3,000 and stayed over an hour, would have stayed longer if I had wanted but I was tired after flight etc, it's amazing how the urge can dry up so quick sometimes after the first pop. I'd say I could easily have got her for 2,500 either but I am not that type to start negotiating, if I don't like the price I'd just move on to someone or somewhere else.

Yeah, I agree, I quite like the feeling of being the odd one out in the Thermae room, kind of a unique selling point. Always get a few approaching me in there (not always the ones I want of course).
It's the first trip that I have visited Thermae every night and have to say, really treated well by the staff in particular every time, I was ushered in past a group of queuing Asian men (boys) straight to the top of the bar queue. So I really don't know what others are complaining about on here say they get a bad vibe.
Don't think I'd go as far as to plonk myself down in the middle to eat a burger nor is it really a place for people watching for too long, I've noticed being there a number of days in a row that the majority of girls are there every night usually in their "own" particular spot, so it's starts getting awkward when you are looking for new blood and don't want the advances of the last few pickups!

It is guaranteed FS and 30 minutes travel time from the airport. If you can find places like Tara using a cab it might be the same in terms of logistics, what I read were only massage places as alternative. So again, just saying.
