Moscow

Looking for advice of where to go on Friday or Saturday night in Moscow. I will be in Moscow the weekend of April 15-16 and staying near Nightflight, about 10 minutes by foot or so Google Maps says. I would like to check it out as well as 911 which is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. I have a couple of concerns and hope that those of you on this thread could help address:

- Getting into NightFlight. What would be the appropriate dress code to get into this place? I read about "face control". How difficult is it really to get in? Also, I am Asian, do they discriminate more given that fact?

- 911 - Any feedback on this place?

- Cash & Safety. How safe is it in these places? How much cash should you carry or is it better to hit up the ATMs there?

Also, any other places you would recommend? I read about Penthouse but it is a bit further away and since I don't speak the language I guess it would be a bit tough to get around.

Been to night flight recently. It is generally a safe place and I don't think there is any face control for entry in Night flight. Spend money wisely as the girls there are mostly behind free drinks.

I have stayed in the area of Moscow a few times.

Have not been to Night Flight but from the many posts about the place sounds like they cater to foreigners so I'm sure as long as you dress reasonably well you should be fine.

As has been reported, Aurora 911 is a solid operation that will charge you (last time I was there but this has been a while) about 1000 Roubles to get in, drinks are fairly expensive, and then there are various levels of lap dances plus you can have sex on site. This has been reported about on the forum quite a bit. I believe posters reported the sex on site was around 350 USD or something like that. You don't have to worry about losing cash when inside, it's very professionally run.

Moscow is safe in general I and this is quite a nice area, I wouldn't worry about carrying cash as long as you're being sensible.

Not sure on Penthouse, but if anywhere you want to get is on the metro just use it- if you can get a card (maybe someone can help you or you can just bumble through this), even a non- Russian speaker can use the metro. Many posters have also reported using Uber, but language ability might help here. Maybe your hotel could call you a cab, and the folks at Penthouse could call you one to get back to the hotel (pretty easy to communicate if all you need to tell the driver is take me to X hotel).

911 is great. Sit at the bar and enjoy the show. Getting into 911 is no problem as long as you are not visibly drunk and are respectfully dressed. I lived in Moscow for almost 5 years and seldom went out with less that $600 in my pocket. Russia is a cash society. Never had a problem. You will be surprised at how safe you will feel. There is a FREE shuttle service between Aurora 911, Penthouse, the Loft and Angels.

Does it matter?[/QUOTE]The best price is always achieved using rubles. Euros and Dollars are readily available at most ATM's so there is nothing magical about hard currency anymore. If you pay in Dollars or Euros you will not get a very good exchange rate.

Based on your stated preference, you wil have no trouble finding what you want in any of those clubs.

I hope I can return the favor by giving you needed information, can I also ask what the prices are like?

I've RTFF haha and see around 150 euro / USD per hour in the clubs, plus maybe a room fee of 40-50 euro / USD

Is that typical and for great all inclusive service, that is OK for my budget but seems expensive considering the horrible economy in Russia currently, I'm a very experienced monger in the USA But have never been to Russia and don't speak a word of it.

I hope only speaking English won't be a problem?
