Hi, I am avid traveller, business and pleasure. Used to travel Thailand, Phils, Indo often, now with work very less travel options to go to Phils but I like Filipinas so much. I know it's hard but just curious if there are specific bars, clubs or areas where we can find / pickup Filipinas? It would be best of both worlds (Bangkok+filipinas).
I know it's tough luck, but hope it's worth a try here with you punters! Thanks for your valuable advise.

I'll be brief about my take on the market dynamics. You can blame the north asians, or 1 week millionaire tourists or whoever you want, but I think the underlying cause is, Nana plaza, Cowboy and Patpong have been sellers markets for a long time now. This inevitably means buyers will get more and more screwed in different ways. Of course, if you're on a short visit, you're just going to have to suck it up and pay up because the other options are time consuming to figure out. Why expats or tourists on a longer trip don't figure out alternatives (or prefer these places to alternatives) is beyond me.
In my glory days (after some 5-6 months of weekly 2ST / LT from nana / cowboy), I eventually ended up with a couple of dozen arrangements of various kinds with neighbourhood civvies (young office employees / students / waitresses / maids. I don't discriminate, just, no fatties and no acne). Now I could invite 3 of them to go to a club with me, get treated like a king there first, and then back in bed, often with more than one coming over- never paid anything except club bill. Some arrangements were more straightforward. Neighbour girl would invariably show up 2 days before rent was due. Weekly maid would oblige when I wanted for 500. There were many others, no point blabbing.
I may have spent a lot on fancy nights out, but they were never demanded of me. Maximum for a regular night long session was 1000 but she was a real hottie and just 21. The Go-Go's have been a seller's market for ages, with the exception of covid times when bars were open but the country was closed to tourists. They were definitely a buyer's market in the early 00, but by the late 00's and early 10's that had changed. In fact if you stood outside Nana or on Soi Cowboy when the bars closed you would have numerous girls coming up to you and offering their services if they didn't get a BF that night. I would say that ended by the time of the 06 coup. 06 seems to be a year where things really started to change. Before then when I would go out I would always have a hard time deciding who to take. I've only got quoted 5 k once so guess she just didn't want to go with me. Usually get from 2. 5 to 3 at Thermae. People know Thailand = easy paid sex and are willing to pay more since they are used to higher rates at home, it is still a good deal in their mind.
Basically, as time goes on the rates of services (any other non-sex related things) will all start to converge towards a more global average price.

"Long term" tourists, I don't know about other countries but I can only stay 1 month on my e-visa's.
