I will be staying in the Casco Viejo neighborhood in PC in three weeks for a long weekend. Casco Viejo is the old city section of PC with many vintage and renovated buildings. I booked a room at the Hotel Tantalo, which claims to have a popular rooftop bar. Their brochure claims its the most popular in the city. There appears to be other night clubs in this neighborhood as well by viewing the google map.

Does anyone have any experience visiting or staying in this area?

After the weekend, I will be flying to Cartagena for several days but wanted to break up the trip and flight from the US by paying a visit to PC to check it out. I have a feeling that I will be keeping my powder dry until I get to Cartagena as the forum seems to have an overall negative opinion of mongering in PC.

The main action (Habanos etc) is a cab ride away. There's been some talk about action at the Trump hotel bar. There's also Bocatorena which is a bit closer although I've only been in the daytime.

My previous trips I bought it at the pharmacy right next door to the Veneto. Anyone know if that pharmacy is still there?

There is a pharmacy across from the Hyatt Hotel, which is a few blocks from Habanos.

I wouldn't say the forum has turned against Panama City, but there are fewer no-fee chica-friendly hotels than there used to be. Enjoy your trip.

Last year I stayed at the Panama Marriott and did not know about Habanos until I stopped by for a beer at what thought was just like a busy bar. I talked to a number of beautiful women but never pulled the plug.

If your girl is indeed that hot you should be able to negotiate the normal 1 on 1 price between $100-$200 for a session.
