In reality, there aren't sources of oil that just happen to be available to Thailand, oil is contracted out months in advance. Thailand might be able to get a few symbolic shipments in a couple of months.

Reality is that on the spot market if you are willing to pay a premium the sources goto the highest bidder.

Look at the WTI chart. Look at supply. Reality is the oil IS currently available. There is no shortage. Price is going up because of fear of a shortage. If the conflict in the middle east drags on, a lot more individuals worldwide are going to affect by the situation, NOT just in Thailand. But if you cannot endue the minor inconveniences that will be experienced in a prolonged shut down of oil / gas transport, then keep your tender foot, snowflake self someplace where you can be more comfortable.

This is tough guys. I know I've always said that pussy is pussy, get them wherever you can. But variety is the spice of life after all. Not going into too many details, but I might be able to get some pussy, plus some chicks that will be willing to rim me, but for the most part I suppose they can just be described as run of the mill chicks. Really depends on perspective after all. If you're a white dude banging white chicks all your life, you'd see Asian chicks as special. And if you're an Asian dude, banging Asian chicks all your life, you'd see them blonde babes as special.

For me, given my lousy circumstances, I need to get pussy when and where I can, and for me while it won't be exotic or unique from my POV, being able to get chicks to rim me is special indeed. Reception had to make "a few calls" before he found someone to accept the job. As fuel becomes hard to find, service from taxi/grab/etc. will become more scarce.

With taxi requirement to use the meter, these drivers have small margin on some of their trips. Increased fuel costs (and reduced availability), is likely to take some of these taxis off the road. I won't be surprised when some of our pre-arranged drivers just don't show up to provide our rides.

United Airlines just announced a 5% cut in flights. This just the beginning.

Airline fuel costs are skyrocketing, which means many of you guys won't be able to fly to Thailand in the near future.

Thailand has oil reserves, and does produce oil, but its all limited. I expect major problems in Thailand if the war doesn't end soon.

My plan is to batten down the hatches in my condo, same as for COVID. I may have to restrict my rotation to ladies in walking distance of my condo.

Right now I hear a lot concluded until I see more it is just normal panic! No different when a crisis hits everyone particularly the expat it the market and empty the shelves of toilet paper LOL.

I seen the prices go up a bit regardless of the cost of a barrel of oil gas is around 100, gas at the pump station is still less than when Biden was in office. In Thailand, 91 has gone up to 31.70 from 30.20 and remember what I noted earlier even at 30.20 the price was suppose to be lower except the Thai government was keeping it from falling more because they wanted to fill their depleted oil reserve fund since they use that funds to keep price down for Thailand.

A week ago in Pattaya, when it started their were a few gas stations closed for just a day, some ration limited the filled up but one could go to Shell on Sukhumvit and pretty much get what you wanted no lines prices a bit higher even before the crisis because Shell claim some super power in their gas? I went to two on Sukhumvit just off the Hwy 7, there were lines so I pass it up and went into Shell no line filled up the Van, which uses Diesel, 2000 baht and headed up country for a few days. These situation reaffirms my thoughts about Thais they aren't paying a baht more unless they have too, no different Thais will walk an extra Kilos to save a baht on their beer.

A full tank to get to my destination 600 KM, I'll use up about 60% but due to the crisis whenever I made a pitstop every few hours I filled up just to be safe. Going and coming back all along even Hwy 7, back to Pattaya, I never saw any station closed or any signs of abnormal line. One does see a bit of wait, none closed nor rationing, but one does have to wait a bit because like me one just want to play it safe and top off the tank.

Until it happens I don't see the problem! Rumor and ignorance runs this country that's my thoughts on gas!
