I agree with most of this, but there's one area where I find myself disagreeing though it's more based on personal anecdotal experience.

Your post seems to frame "Thai rich guys" as some kind of threat. In my opinion, they're not. From my experience (I'm from the USA), we completely outmatch them financially. Let's do a simple 1-to-1 comparison: a USA Doctor in the Bay Area vs. A Thai doctor, or a USA Software engineer vs. A Thai software engineer. It's no contest.

In fact, I'd go even further and say that USA Guys make far more money than Japanese salarymen. The strength of the USA Dollar compared to other currencies, especially the Japanese yen (which has been halved in value since 2011), puts us on a completely different level.

Another reason I don't see Thai rich guys as a real "threat" is because their contributions don't seem any different from the typical civilian relationships here in the USA Going on date after date, paying for dinners, and eventually having a girlfriend often costs more than any interactions with Thai girls and definitely more than whatever the Thai guys are contributing. At the end of the day, we simply make way more money, and the girls know it.
