The venues are generally not called massage houses in Santo Domingo anymore, you can ask for casa de citas (house of appointments) or casa de chicas (house of women) , you can also ask for massage houses, but the venues don't use massage in their name (except grand paradise massage). One place off of avenida independencia does offer normal massage and a massage with a happy ending.

Whether you want to partake in house or take out is your choice, there are venues that offer both options.

I stayed one night in Barcelo Domingo (formerly Lina) thanks to a 50% Expedia promo for Executive level rooms, I paid $77 for the night. Executive level has exclusive facilities for executive room guests: 24 exclusive check in-out desk area free computer room with internet, a terrace with sauna and an Jacuzzi. 24 hour drinks (Presidente beer in 12 0z bottles, sodas, juices, water. 8 varieties of coffee). There is also pastries, cakes, fruits, cheeses, ham and bread available from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The room is modern, in fact was remodeled last year with flat screen tv, a confortable queen bed and all the facilities you can imagine. Fruits were served to our room. I was with my favorite chica so no need to go out in search of girls. Next to the hotel to the right there is a place where you can drink for cheap. You can cross the avenue, walk a little and there is Teleoferta, a popular terrace, a good spot to meet non pros. You can take a 5 minute walk to the left from hotel entrance and there is a train station. We went to Villa Mella in train but the chicharrones vendor are not a esay walk from train station so we went to La Sirena an ate a delicious meal for two for barely over $10: rice, a full pasta with meat and salad, a big service of pork ribs, avocado, water and a soda.

The pool was also almost new, it has a bar next to it. 4 chaise lounges inside the water and a cascade. Nice being there with my chica, sometimes we were the only people there.

Room minibar is expensive, but room service is cheap, most of the items from the restaurant menu were priced for less than 200 pesos before taxes.

In terms of sex, well I was with my favorite chica which is not a pro, so we were like a normal couple. We had unprotected sex all the time. She took at pill that works for 3 days after the first sexual relation that avoids her to get pregnant. It is sold in drugstores over the counter, cost like 4 dollars.

Overall Barcelo Santo Domingo is nice, guest friendly hotel. If you are a newbie do not stay there, it is not near most of the places of interest for the monger.

The nearest place is Showgirls strip club, less than half a mile north, practically walking distance and GBP is a mile west on the same Avenue.

I checked in with a Dominicana the one time I stayed at the Hilton, as such there was no extra fee for her. If you have a rental car, you can enter the Hilton from the 4th or 5th floor, where it is attached to the parking garage. There was a security guard, he did not stop me when I entered the hotel from the 4th floor parking floor with the Dominicana, who I checked in with.

I have read the hilton charges a chica fee, not sure if it is per chica or per day. You could always play dumb, just enter the hotel and go to your room with a chica. If they stop you, you can say you didn't know about the chica policy (It is a total retarded policy that some large hotels in Santo Domingo, don't allow you to bring in whom you want).

Barcelo Santo Domingo and El Embajador Hotels are large hotels in santo domingo that are chica friendly.
