I get it that having to massage broken-down old foreigners is hardly anyone's idea of career progression, but has anyone else noticed a propensity for massage ladies lately to look at and use their phones when they think you won't notice during a session? In the past two months I have had three sessions and I have caught the girl / s using their phones and / or doing a half-arsed massage with one hand in every session.
Growing trend or sheer (and justifiable) boredom on behalf of the ladies?

Opinions do tend to be quite polarized. If you're looking for efficient mongering where you can walk into a controlled environment, pick visually exactly what you seek from thousands of choices within minutes, pull her out for a quicky, then literally rinse and repeat, then Thailand is your place. You can have whatever you want, whenever you want. The choices are endless with women practically curated and sorted by desirability to the point that they are a commodity. Deep communication and connections are certainly possible but not the primary focus as fluent and clear English is not as widely spoken as in PH. However, if you seek a genuine GFE with a non-pro, along with deep communication, with someone that speaks fluent English, often as clearly as a native American, and that maybe has only had one or less encounters with men in their entire life, then Philippines is for you, and the choices of these girls are endless. Sure there is pure efficient mongering in PH but it does not have nearly the scope or depth as Thailand and the general quality of appearance doesn't measure up to Thailand either, most likely due to the fact that the diet in the PH is heavily focused on pork, Jollibee and McD so the girls bodies reflect this. Also keep in mind that Thai people love everything Thai, their culture, and rarely want to relocate, most likely because they were never colonized. You'll likely find their habits, mannerisms and culture more "foreign" and exotic as compared to the Philippines so you may not consider them generally as user-friendly for the long term. Filipinos on the other hand have been colonized, overrun and interbred with Chinese, Americans, Spanish, and others for over a hundred years to the point that you'd probably find them somewhat more culturally familiar with fluent English widely spoken in the big cities which can be a real game changer if you want to spend extended time with someone. In addition, Filipinos often prefer to leave the country if you want to take one home and they admire Westerners much more than Thai people who pretty much don't admire Westerners. These are generalizations so there is no bright line distinction between the countries. These observations are based on visiting and living in both places on and off over the past 25 years and grabbing one Filipina "short time" (3 years living together full time) and also pulling one "long time" (13 years working and living together on / off full time) along with many many other flings along the way in both countries, albeit much more in the Philippines. Personally, I prefer the Philippines because I love the clear conversations in English that are so readily available, which are much harder, but not impossible, to find in Thailand, even though I now live in Thailand and could never live in the Philippines again, but that's a whole 'nother story. It was much better than the previous night / time. I agree that there weren't any stunners, but there were a few PYTs that I could see myself with. I like the chill vibe. "Sounds like you might have hit Soi 7 at the wrong time. Early evening, especially on a weekday, isn't when the good-looking girls are usually out in full force. I've been there around the same time and seen what you described, an older crowd or slower hours, but when it picks up later in the night, especially on weekends, it's a totally different vibe.
From my experience, those 'drink only' girls can actually be some of the hottest in the area, and like I mentioned, I've had good experiences with two girls, 21 and 22 year olds who initially made it clear they weren't the 'go-with-customer' type. But the key was timing, a bit of patience, and not giving off that desperate vibe. Like I said, my Thai language skills helped and I don't get wrapped up in making any deals upfront, just keeping things light and no-pressure.
Stick with it, come back later in the night, and you'll see a different crowd. Don't judge too harshly based on the early hours you might be missing out on the real action. Just a heads up for your next round!

I went to Cebu, which is completely sneered at here for the most part by other members it seems. Firstly, Pina Love is the easiest app I have ever used, and I kind of "cracked the code" of the user interface to basically give me very easy introductory access to the best available on said app. Before my descent into mongering I was stuck on dating apps in the US, and kind of got used to mastering how to best navigate the individual UI's of each, and Pina Love by far is the easiest to game the system. Cebu is a college city in part, so you can imagine that their are plenty of oppurtunities to be had. I spent extended parts of my vacation with various women off that app, and truly had a blast. The lack of language barrier is a huge thing to consider when you're going to travel. It's not just that these pinay women want your money, that's part of it, and maybe all of it for some, but in my exprience they truly want to be around western foreigners, and probably other foreigners as well. For example, the first night I was with a woman, the deed was done, and there were two twin beds, so I crawled into one to sleep and left her in the other not thinking much of it. She got upset and left, and I didn't put it together until later that I was treating her like a prostitute, which I think nothing of in a business transaction, and that was upsetting to her. I learned quickly if I just showed a very basic level of a "dating" disposition towards her and others, how happy she was, and how happy she made me when she returned again the following nights and days. Hell, there were women off of Pina that got upset at the initial offer of money, but even after that they were still open to going on a regular date! Not a SINGLE one used the report feature on Pina Love when I offered money, but possibly the report feature might just be ignored by the Pina Love service team. Try offering money to someone on Tinder in the wrong part of the world and watch your account get banned in 5 seconds. Then there's how the women treat (foreign) men there. It was next level GFE as far as my mongering experience goes. So, Imagine if you went to Manila for example with a metro popluation of 15 million, and hit the ground running with Pina Love, and all else that the city has to offer. Personally, I want to hit all the top spots to see for myself.
As an aside here's my Pina Love formula, that I came up with by creating a fake female profile on an alternate phone to see what the women were seeing on their end. First, pick a bullshit 2 or 3 letter name. Also, you can message without matching on Pina Love (hope it's still like this. ? this is paramount. We're trying to keep this first introductory message as short as possible for a reason here boys. Second, the message should look exactly like this for brevity's sake: " Hi, I'm XXX, I can do 4 K a night. " What this does is when the women are scrolling through their message PREVIEWS, they can see that A, you are offering money, and be, how much. This will help them filter and select your message through what I guaruntee you is a SEA of messages in their inbox, that probably is porpotionately tied to how hot they are. There was not a single one on that app I had eyes for that got away from me, and that was a fantastic feeling and expreience. Just info, do with it as you please. If you write a long message this is what they will see in the message preview "Hey, what's up, you're super duper prett. Different strokes for different folks though. I had a buddy (RIP) who moved to Angeles after living all over DR for years. For some reason, no matter how much we talked about it and how much he said he would come to Thailand, he never did. (There is only a 3 hour flight between the two.) I do not know what he was scared of. He had previously lived in Costa Rica and all over Brazil (where we met), so I do not know what his fear of Thailand was. I was shocked when he ended up in Philippines because as much as we had talked about Thailand, he had never mentioned anything about the Philippines before.
All he did was go to Kokomo's for breakfast and sit 2 hours imagining the ass that all the chicks walking past did not have, go home and come back to Kokomo's about 6 pm to drink juice and watch the chicks walk by again. In Thailand there is much more to do than go sit at the same restaurant for hours everyday.

Ask for grilled cheese and get told they only have grilled ham and cheese. It does not translate to them and they do not accept explanation to just leave the ham off, because that is the way it comes so that is the only way you can get it. Not allowed sir.

I walked up to the counter and asked for a pizza with no cheese, just like I do at Costco in the States. Of course in the States, they don't bat an eye and I get my pizza as ordered with no cheese. At the S&R Makati food court counter, the attendant looked at me with a blank stare like she'd just had a stroke. I speak enough Tagalog that I translated for her, but that didn't matter. After 3 seconds of an attempt to process this monumental task of simply not putting any cheese on the pizza, she scurried away and grabbed the manager who came over, confirmed I wanted no cheese, and also attempted to mentally go through the horrendously complex task of not adding cheese to a pizza. After a few seconds of dumbfoundedness, she shook her head and said: "So sorry sir, this is not possible. " I died laughing. Of course in Thailand you can get anything you want exactly as you like it, cheese, no cheese, sausage, no sausage (maybe hidden sausage) etc, at a (usually) very fair price and dang good quality, whether it be pizza or p*why. And yea, in Thailand there is so much more to do and means of getting there to do it by train or freeway (hour depending) to avoid the parking lot style traffic which has a freeway / tollway or two, but they're always in gridlock and there is no viable metro / train that will get you where you want to go. And while I'm ranting, I need to add that you'll find this traffic in all the far flung places you attempt to visit thinking that they'll be "out of the way" or "boondocks". They're boondocks all right, but the traffic is solid there too. The only exception I've found is Batanes which is pretty cool if you don't mind doing much of anything except maybe scuba, but the fish are all gone (dynamite?) so only a beautiful reef remains. Sad.

I think what makes Cebu such a great place is that a lot of these girls come from other areas to go to school or work so they don't have their parents breathing down their necks which means you can get them alone, and late. Sometimes a young female cousin or friend will come as a chaperone, and don't think for a minute that they're not fair game as well. They are. I've often been texted by the cousin / friend when I lost interest in the main girl. Sisters are available too believe it or not LOL, although I didn't do them at the same time but maybe you guys can pull that off. The one assumption I'd caution is assuming that Manila is even better. I'd say not necessarily, and the reason is the traffic and lack of viable transportation. You can set up dates for a distance that you'd assume is an hour away, but its often 4 hours away which means the Filipina will take 6 hours to get to you and assume she's overnighting which is also a big hassle, so I'd recommend keeping your prospects within 20 minutes which is a very small area. Always, always make them come to you. Its just too much trouble to go to them. The other point I'd add is, that while I agree that Pina Love is amazing (met my last ST of 3 years on there), this is a numbers game if you're picky so best to get a profile on all the sites such as Date in Asia, Filipino Cupid, OK Cupid, Tinder, etc etc. And yes, be very careful what you say regarding business or money because you'll get banned quickly. So it could have been that the bar owner hired an agency to fill the line up with 4-5 hotties, Coyotes, on Opening Night and they have now vanished into thin air. I've seen it done a few times around here.
Oh well. Anyway, just passing it along. And I suppose there could he another huge change in the line up tomorrow. Nobody knows.

If the girls were hot and interested in working in a bar they would already be doing that in an established bar.
I would say the hotties I saw there on Opening Night were on par with hotties one would find among the top 20% or so of the Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy gogo bars. But they couldn't pull them from those bars for the night so it does sound plausible they pulled them from whatever other bar in Thailand was associated with Las Vegas Soi 4 in Bangkok.
And now that I think back on it, those girls' demeanor did not appear anything like the usual Agency Girl / Coyote Drink and Customer Hustlers. They were not aggressively trying to pull customers into the place or doing anything to put incoming customers' butts in the booths or hustling for drink purchases.
They were just sitting there, looking down at the floor or their phone and had to be asked a couple of times by the manager to get up and shuffle around a little on the dance floor. Very much like they were there only as a favor to someone.

EihT's report really inspired me to have a look since I'm always prowling around Nana, but when I walked by last night at like 10 pm the many wares on display outside were really ratchet looking so I was totally uninspired to go inside.
