Collection of thoughts (Part 3)
As mentioned in my last report from now on I will be taking on different topics which I think necessary to share with readers. So let me start with the Livingstone’s Lodge first.
Being a medical doctor I keep on getting opportunities to travel and attend medical conferences in various countries and hence get the privilege of staying in some good hotels around the world and after work hours I like to go out and enjoy myself in bars and discos and if I find some one really up to my taste only then I bring her back to my hotel room and some hotels are GF and some not though I always like to RTFF before I go to some new place and like to book myself in hotel of my choice but still I really feel awkward with the walk of shame in lobby and especially if it is a long one and I never feel comfortable till I am back in room with girl and it take some time to get normal after such walk and when in particular some hotel staff observed u or some of hotel guests look towards you in lobby giving scary looks.
Here in Livingstone’s before coming I had certain fears in my mind like whether this place will be as comfortable as a good five star hotel? How will I be treated there being a Pakistani Muslim citizen and will I have to undergo some sort of racial discrimination and how will girls and staff behave with me when they will come to know that a person from a fundamentalist and terrorist country that’s what medial describes us is here.
I was not sure regarding location and its access to various parts of city as personally I don’t want to live in some very congested area of traffic jam or with polluted environment of a vehicle smoke and nor I want to live very far from main activity areas of city.
With all these fears and questions I landed in this Lodge and to cut story short I wrote as earlier that I found this place just like a home away from home minus the restrictions of a home as you are at liberty to do all those things here which you cant think of doing because of morality or for fear of your wife or kids and You are a completely free citizen as to me in ones home one is always a captive to traditions morality and culture and is refrained from doing many activities which he wants to do but is not able to do.
No walk of shame no racial or any sort of discrimination very centrally located conveniently accessible from BTS and easily approachable from all activity areas of city etc but still this place is not a hotel as at times I have read in forum that people say its like a four star hotel I think it’s a mix of a hotel home and a lodge.
Things comparing this place to a hotel are that your room and washrooms with Jacuzzi are made up in no time and at any time you wish. It has a nice restaurant and a pub and a bar.
Quality of beds sheets and towels and standard of cleanliness is comparable to any good four or five star hotel.
Being a lodge it is built or I would like to say renovated in a particular African theme and its structures are stony and rough like drive way or walk way which is bit uncomfortable when you tow your suitcase with wheels on it. It has no lift so if any one has pain in joints will have to bear it while going up and down so beware oldies.
Pool is very nicely maintained with clean and fresh water.
Now coming towards its resemblance with home.
Home is a place where every one is known to each other so is here staff in particular and attitude of Giotto his two wives and Guido the manager makes you think that you are a house member and this is found very rarely in a commercial place though here too u have to pay for each single thing and nothing is free except smile loll.
Biggest resemblance with home is that on holiday at what ever time you get up you can have breakfast and no specified time for this which in hotels etc you cant have.
As in a home usually there is one news paper and every member waits for his turn to read it so is here loll. Though Giotto thinks that here guests staying are not here with a purpose to read paper. I am of the opinion that there should be a small reading corner with some magazines and papers as when one is on holidays even one likes to go through papers and magazines.
The place has no gym so if you are an exercise freak then you have to depend only on the exercise you do with girls in your room or what ever you can do in pool if you know swimming or if at all you are addicted to do some exercise in gym then you should go to Novotel Lotus.
No alternate arrangement of power failure and if power goes so does the water too.
Restaurant serves good quality food but to me the menu is bit restricted and you can get a few western meals or Thai menu but no Indian or Chinese dishes are served. I think some more dishes in restaurant can be added to make the menu more acceptable like more grilled food dishes and more sea food variety.
To avoid mosquitoes or flies in restaurant some extra measures are to be adopted so that if one is in shorts and t shirt can eat with more comfort.
Before coming here I had in mind that I am going to a place where beautiful lovely girls and female staff will be serving you or making your rooms up and guests will be lured by their lovely attitude and will be running after them to come and sleep and for that one will have to pay extra bar fine but here yes only two very beautiful Mrs. Giotto are here who are not bar finable of course and rest of female staff who works at reception or in lodge are self explanatory loll.
In hotels at least at reception desks girls are quite attractive and beautiful and I have seen beautiful girls working in room service or housekeeping in various hotels I fail to understand the contrast here.
No bathroom slippers are provided here so you have to bring your own.
No yellow pages directory is in rooms so you can’t go through numbers of escort agencies or massage parlors or independent escorts so before coming here bring numbers with you.
Kitchen is closed after 12:00 midnight and in case if you get hungry after that then eat air as unlike hotels there is no midnight menu facility in the lodge or you have to knock Giotto’s room may be has some snacks to eat in his room loll though I did not dare to do that by thinking that poor man has to work with two wives and may be he will be dead tired out and he will throw me out of lodge by seeing me in this hour of night loll.
If you bring your own bottle of whisky or any liquor you have to pay 300 Baht surcharge if you want it to be served as I brought one black label back with me from a place which I will mention in another report and when restaurant staff saw that bottle in my hand they asked for surcharge to be paid but I instead of paying surcharge gifted it to staff back and asked them to have party as I was already quite drunk and did not need any more to drink.
Despite all above which I have mentioned by no means I intend to give any negative marking to this place as while you are staying here these carry no importance as you are so much involved in various other activities that you don’t bother such matters to intervene in your enjoyment. That’s why this place is having a roaring business even in this slow season as its bar remains full where as other bars in area have slowed down and girls working in other bars have wish to work here as here are more customers and rooms were all booked and there was a thought which kept on coming in my mind that may be as this time I was asking taxi drivers to take me soi 33 near Novotel Lotus may be next time when I come I will have to give landmark contrary and should ask the taxi to take me to Livingston’s itself to reach Lotus loll.
I was also visualizing another scenario that a time may come that Mr. Giotto earns that much from here and gets Novotel Lotus too and we will have more rooms and more big space then.
Now in the end I will like to make a comment on a usual debate going in forum that is this place worth to stay with girl friend or family or no.
To me what I observed that any one can stay with family or girl friend here as I did not observe any single incidence objectionable here as there was no nudity apparent any where and place is similar like other hotels which have bars or discos inside and where customers pick working girls and its their personal matter what they do in rooms so to me no one should have any objection.
So I will like to finish my narration about lodge here by saying that in future when ever I will come to Bangkok with my girl friend or family or alone my first preference will be this house as I will love to spend time with Mr. and Mrs. Giottos and though by that time he has three or more Mrs.

Ok folks till now I have written about details of my first day the details of lodge itself and what u can find in it and what u cant comparing to a hotel now coming to the topic of girls.
The idea which I had in my mind before coming here remained unfulfilled as I could not find a stunner girlfriend which I could rate as 9 or 10 and had to stick with 6 or 7 and still am thinking for the ways and means of getting a 9 or 10 who is as well girl friendly too and then taking her to a far fetched island and remain with her for at least 10 days.

Finally confusion was overcome and I was wished good luck by Brain666 and his girl and bar fine was paid and I went with a new girl in room but inside I was not happy as I thought that my previous girl was sad because of all this and I have not done good to her.

Let me give you a brief description of this girl she is taller than usual girls in bar and looks a mix of Thai and Chinese smiling mostly and shouting and jumping while playing pool and plus point was that she can speak better English than other girls so while taking her I thought its time to come out of language of signs and hugs and shift to a better understandable spoken medium.

I thanked her for her time and asked her how much I need to pay her to which she replied 3000 and I simply just slipped 2000 baht in her purse and she went happily and I again slept while thinking that when I knew before hand that Thai working girls are not that beautiful and not to my standard and girls in Dubai from CIS are more attractive then why I have come here and wasting money for nothing on 5 or 6 standard girls. I slept while pacifying myself that look they are more smiling friendlier more GFE and so on. Now after getting up in afternoon and breakfast I went for shopping out and came back in evening and while I was in sky train on my way back I was thinking of Brain666 as I had to report him regarding my new venture which again was a failure though he and his girl helped me out in changing the girl and getting labeled as a butterfly but all in vain.

Now in CM2 it was a packed night and I paid 650 baht cover charge for each with two complimentary drinks. There we danced madly and drank a lot. Miss N was getting a lot of attention as by Thai standards of working girls she is sexy and attractive and I was feeling proud that I am surrounded by two my own girls who both were prettier in the lot there and with a belief that these are mine girls for tonight with all rights reserved LOL.
Miss K had earlier been to all these places may be with some customer or her farang boy friend but Miss N was having her first experience out at both these places so she was bit stunned to see this part of Bangkok and world and was enjoying more than Miss K.

I could never think of this traitor ship as imagine in bar I had spent four or five lady drinks each on them then bar fining both then in hard rock dinner and wine and now here after entry charges and complimentary drinks now we were on vodka and in this till now I had spent almost 12000 baht on both these girls and the result was disgusting that my girl was dancing and kissing some other guy in another corner.
Any how I thought that I don’t own these girls and they have every right to do what ever they want and I kept on dancing with Miss K by thinking that may be Miss N will go out with her newly found customer but again to the contrary she was back and did not go with that guy. This happened may be because she would have thought that as I bar fined her and may be this will cost her job in bar if a complaint is made so she got back.
I asked her where she was. She replied she went to wash room I told her that what I saw and also had shown to Miss K when she was dancing and kissing to a much older guy in a corner. She got embarrassed as she knew that she had been caught red handed. Any way after close of disco we were back to Lodge and I asked miss N to spend night with me and we bid good bye to Miss K and wished her good luck for her farang boyfriend who is supposedly a German. Now back in my room with miss N and I was making her embarrassed again and again that why did she get in touch with a customer when she was with me and she was saying sorry again and again how ever I told her that I did not mind as I know it’s a part of game as we are customers and with working girls and not with girl friends. She took shower and so did I and she asked if I was interested in sex I said that as long as I am a customer and not her friend I will not be interested in sex. Now that was really difficult for her to prove that I was not her customer and now a friend.
