ds, i can't help myself thinking that you often describe yourself as the james cook of davao. maybe you tend to not meet the foreigners actually living on davao - the normally stay away from mp ;-) - but, without going into details, i have friends that moved there in the 80:s. there are several groups of expats that never or rarely visits de bonte koe or those places. i even met people that first set foot there when i was still in [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord131][CodeWord131][/url], i.e. the 70:s. davao was there long before it was mentioned on any board. many foreigners married to bisayas choose davao before for example cebu way back in the late 80:s and early 90:s, regardless of abu sayyaf. they did not make 60 trip, but they made one pretty long one. and they in turns attracted their friends for vacations or just to run away. many of the guys i know are (officially) not into p4p but they describe "back then" as being pretty much like today. go to restaurants or bars, talk to pretty girls and if you are lucky, score. places change but the game is the same. isg is a great site for gathering info about stuff you normally wouldn't ask for example an older relatives or their friends, but feed them some funador and you will learn that they know, for sure. speaking of the good old days - what happened to hadars? the few occasions i passed, it looked dead but i was told just a couple of years ago that this was popular amongst some of the expat groups. guess which. hehe. by the way. valhall that is located more or less next to hadars, is an alternative to the north european style shopping done in swiss deli. no restaurant though.

Claude's is a fine place. Had a wonderful meal and some wonderful company there about six months ago. Prices are high (by Philippine standards), but well worth it. I had an additional luxury of two extremely attractive and interesting women sharing my table. I can't remember, but GE might have been there too. :-)

I got kind of confused with your post. Anyway, facing Claude's from the street, the courtyard that GE mentions is to the left. Walking out of Claude's, it would be to the right.

And where they were headed was to the courtyard with multiple eateries and restuarants directly adjacent to Henny's, or behind Claude's and slightly to right with the entrance on Rizal.

There is not one shred of doubt in my head that with a little perseverance, a willingness to purchase a pancit, or fried chicken or two, and a modicum of patience, I could have been successful with any one of several really good looking 20ish women. This may be a heretofore undiscovered trove of potential pussy for those who want to explore during the early evening (8-10) prior to the riotous scene at Bar 183, which is only 200 meters or so up the street. What the hell. If I'm wrong, and you strike out there, you can always head up the street to Rizal Promenade and 183. But I do not think I'm wrong.

Facing Claude's, and immediately to your right, there's an alleyway that leads to a huge courtyard populated by a bunch of local restaurants and by the Iron Horse bar. That's the area of which I was speaking. Facing Claude's and immediately to the left is Chico's but that's not the area to which I was referring in my post.

I have met about 60 ex-pats living In Davao. Most through either Maurice O' Flanagan or GoodEnough. The longest I ever stayed in Davao was 7 weeks back in July?august '04. I have my Firm to manage and I am much too young to retire (will never retire). I have a group of people living in Davao from the US, Australlia and Europe whom I like to get togerether with frequently. All either own their own Business or are employed as Executives of a Foreign Company.

I rarely, if ever see any of the retirees living in Davao. I am certain they are good people but I doubt if we have much to talk about should we meet. A few of these can be quite offensive. One "apprentice asshole" drunk and living at RKG, tried to convince me to get a job in Kuwait. Why the fuck would I go to work for anyone, taking orders from some middle management guy, let alone in the "Giant Sandbox"! I have owned and run, successfully, my own Company since I was in my 20's.

Another, while poking me in the arm between sips of beer, related to me why everyone should retire at age 62. He spoke to me (while poking me) as if I was the young student who should be writing down every word from this drunk's mouth. There are only two reasons anyone should ever retire by age 62: 1) you are a lazy slug who does not want to work and does not mind living the life of a peasant while waiting to die; 2) you are terminally ill.

I go to Davao next week. Few days in Manila first. See if the Kid brings the No. California Reds so we can hold the first Meeting of the Davao Wine Club. Hope to have some decent posts here.

Once upon a time I worked for a firm in South Korea. And at that time I was smart enough to be single with the occasional time to go down to the Philippines. Now I am married and in the States. I dream about those days of milk and honey with the women who always smiled and I would give my left nut to think of a way to spend even one week, without the family, in that land again. I am "only" in my mid 30: s and you can imaging the amount of men I come across with ambitions to teach me everything they know about women, making money, life, etc. I have studied for 20+ years (scary fact) and started several companies, but such facts seems to be totally irrelevant when I meet a boosed up 50+ over weight Gringo refugee with white phlegm in the corner of his mouth, and a woman he doesn't deserve on his arm. Barbarossa1, having weak business is exactly your pitch I would say. Make it an actual study. You live in a country where loads if Filipino citizens would like to come and work. You have the local knowledge on how to get visas and work permits. The missing piece is marketing and connections in Philippines. Even if making money on the poor is generally a bad idea in my opinion, I think that immigration related services, as well as education followed by an over seas employment, is turning over quite a substantial amount of cash in the Philippines today. Set up your own little "I'll help you to come to South Korea for a thousand bucks"-firm. Or whatever the going rate would be for such a service.

Yes, just back in Vancouver now for the summer which hasn't started yet after a 10 month tour of Asia. Here are the highlights and lowlights in order:

Two Months Singapore: Enjoyed one month with a lady I had met in Cebu who is working there and looked at a biz opportunity. Well the biz opportunity wasn't my bag and she left. I flew in another lady from Cebu as I had to give one months notice on my suite. I like Singapore and is probably the best place outside the Phil to be an expat. So many different types of Asian women for hire. Enjoyed a few nights at Tanjong Pagar where there is at 60 small bars loaded with ladies from the Phil. They do come with certain strings attached, so I prefer a fly in. Just make sure your fly in has $1000 or a bank card as immigration can deport her. Orchard Tower is jam packed with ladies and bars. For that matter, many bars from Hooters to Flat Chested the ladies prey on us for a $200 night out. The five block radius of Geylang is crawling with ladies at half that price. There is so much Asian flesh for sale in Singapore and not enough customers by a long shot that if the lady is not hot she is on a plane home soon enough. That aside, I had great weather, enjoyed the hawkers and the local gyms which are on par with luxury spas and only cost at $3 a visit and of course enjoyed my imported filipinas which saved me a small fortune. I am kuripot. Tight with my money.

Three Months Pattaya. Hats off to Pattaya. The sex scene is amazing. Stayed at my cousins hotel (26 serviced apartments) at a family rate and just had great time. Great weather again. The ladies are professional, quality overall is good and reasonably priced. The quality of lodging for the price and Thai food, Thai massage, expat infrastructure is superb. A lack of taxis, lower English proficiency, and less gf material were the only negatives compared to Phil. All in all Pattaya has all that you would ever want in a location.

Four Month Phil

Two Month Cebu. I can recommend Crown Garden on Salinas in Lahug as a place to stay. Next door is Jos Chicken Inato. They have monthly rates of about 26, 000p. I always look for rooms with tiles on the floor. No carpet, bright rooms, large spring mattress. The service at that hotel isn't that great. I take dates to Marco Polo pool side, Mr. A, Waterfront lobby, Sunflower, Pump1, Loft, Vudu, work out at Holiday Spa, visit SM and Ayala and stay away from Osmena Circle except for visit to the discos at Mango Square and the odd happy hour beer at Silver Dollar after shopping at Robinsons; you will find Salinas to be a good location for a long term stay. There has been so much said about Cebu there is not much more to report on the expat marriage capital of the world I love so well.

One Month Davao:

Negatives:

The quality of lodging in general is poor and over priced. You really have to stick with the top five four star hotels because there is a huge drop in quality from there. Las Casitas might be the best value, location for a short term visit. Better than Hotel Galleria. I stayed elsewhere and can not recommend that place to you as it only has one good room. I stayed in that room because it was big and had a new spring mattress. Casa Ruby is ok and if staying long time it would be my choice. I agree that Red Knight is a bit worn but the grounds are nice. There is a new English pub with some decent sized rooms for rent in a subdivision near Gran Regal Hotel. Location is far from the action and you will have to call a taxi. I think the best value high end hotel is Royal Mandaya. Of course, MP wins out and depends on your discount level. I am saying that you can bargain at RM and achieve a significantly lower price than MP. As I had a month, and lodging is my business at home, I visited almost all of these places, except some overpriced serviced apartments.

Restaurants: There are a massive amount of low end eateries which will get you high blood pressure with mass amounts of salt and fried food in no time. There are a few high end restaurants which have been pointed out here, which are also high priced. Again healthy mid priced range eateries is lacking.

Good Music not Noise: I enjoyed Chico's Jazz Bar the most and its not expensive and a good place to hang out. Pick ups are limited but a seat outside would secure a good view of the compounds visitors.

Weather: I think Davao has a higher rainfall than most parts of the country which is beneficial for agricultural. The fruits and veg and tuna and fish here are great but you need a cook and kitchen.

Nightlife: Venue is tops in my book for a disco and is world class. For mongers Rizal Promenade near Las Casitas is the best place to pick up young ladies seeking to earn a little extra or just to have fun. Auto Shop and that compound is good on the weekends but I would stick with Rizal on the weekdays. Be advised that you will secure more women faster if you do your marketing just outside the entrance as most ladies do not have enough money for a drink and need a sponsor before entering. So make friends with the security detail in Rizal and hang out on that sidewalk whilst being pestered by beggars and the local riff raff or just watch closely whilst sipping your cold one inside the compound. Picked up several ladies at Rizal. It is the best spot in Davao by far for quality young ladies ready to get their gear off. No luck at net cafes as I find it difficult to communicate, athough one gets the glad eye all the time.

I must mention that Central Bank is loaded with freelancers for a low price but low quality and must be STD central. I must mention that there is a massive amount of lady boys downtown in certain areas and in front of Apo View that will pester you. But not as bad as in Bali where they are a real pain in the ass.

Bars: Some quality there for sure but not quantity; for the money the P4P scene is over priced and not a tourist attraction by no means but a good stop gap when need be.

Davao Women: While not as flirty as their Cebu cousins or user friendly for that matter they are still filipinas. I found it just takes more effort to get laid there and the quantity of quality "university students" willing to get their gear off seriously lacking. But for a long staying visitor thats not a problem as long as you are working several leads and visit a P4P at Hot Legs in the meantime.

I think Davao is the best place in the Phil to find a wife. Just go to SM Davao and pick one out. There is an abundance of good looking ladies that would make good wife material there. Davao seems to be a weird town, it is a highly religious town and an agricultural town that reminds me of Abbotsford / Mission BC where I studied to be a priest one time. There is a person there who thinks he is the appointed Son of God and Davao. Mt. Apo is the place of God's New Kingdom on Earth etc. The mayor has run the career criminals to General Santos where they operate their Davao rackets from and petty criminals seem to end up with a bullet in the head. This all makes for a really weird type of mindset / place. Davao.

Two Weeks Boracay: If you have game, its a good place and its the Phil you can pick up even the middle class who holiday there. Met the owner from Vancouver of Cocomangas and must say this is the best to hang out, dance and pick up freelancers on the island. The place rocks. I brought the mother of my child who lives in Vancouver to Boracay. She was with her family in the province of Antique on one month holiday so I just visited there for three days, had a big party which I paid for 40, 000 p for 100 people, then took her there on a honeymoon sort of. Yes, I need sex when I am in sex prison. She is 44, previously married with two kids in the Phil, and is a Canadian citizen now as she came here on the Caregiver program when I met her here after my divorce in 2001.

Two Weeks Manila: LA Cafe need I say more? This is the place, you will never tire of. No need for EDSA, P Burgos, Air Force 1 and the lot. You will find quality just be patient. I did. I found a great 22 yr old lady who works at SM hanging out at LA CAFE. I asked her "Are you a tourist? " She was way out of place there and they are easy to spot. I had a great two weeks in Manila with her as she visited me after work almost every night. I hit all the nightlife spots and visited most of the P4P spots. Hey guys, Manila isn't that bad? Just wake up at 3pm, stay near Robinsons Ermita and travel at night to the clubs back and forth and take a taxi everywhere and just know a few words in Tagalog like "metro na lang" which mean turn on the meter or I am getting out right now. Just have a crazy look on your face and people will stay away from you. I had no troubles in Manila and after months in Asia it don't bother me whatsoever. When I go in and out of LA Cafe I literally run fast so as not to be hassled by the local riff raff. Fake mothers with babes in their arms or police at the kitty korner preying on the ladies and tourists. You just need to adapt to survive in Manila. Being in Malate you do get a fresh breeze. Its fine and not as polluted and unsafe as others make out. Embassy at the Fort rocks big time for the Hip Hop crowd there is no other disco you need to go to. If you have game you can score a social lady there and there is plenty to choose from. Enjoyed the music not the prices at Hobbit House. I recommend RJ Bistro on Jupiter and SkyGarden at Diamond Hotel for the best live jazz. Impressed with Air Force One is a first class place to shag with expensive putas who visit the plastic surgeon often.

One Month Bali

As soon as the rains hit Manila off to Bali pure sunshine, best place to be April to Sept for those who wish to avoid the summer rains of Asia. Kutas sweats with sex. Stayed in a four star resort one br condo for $650 per month in Seminyak. Just a short walk on the beach is a huge strip of discos all the way, fine dining, freelancers, beach life night and day, nice sunsets the works. Its paradise if you have money, time and health. Much better than Boracay with exception to the beach. Boracay has a superb beach in terms of setting and sand just not as many things to do. The total infrastructure in Bali is great. As to the women, the quality of sex is superb and professional like Thailand, but lacks the warmth and emotion only a Filipina can provide albeit the drama. Plus, the Phil is full of unemployed young ladies who like spending fun time with us. Negatives of Bali is that the night life starts too late and the ladies there are heavily used and being accosted by lady boys on motorbikes and locals trying to sell you ladies, drugs and transport is a negative for me. The P4P action in Sanur is better for short time with more selection, lighter skin on average and less hassles and is the best location to stay if you want volume pussy at better prices 25$ usd one hour. Still too expensive compared to Phil and not worth it.

I found some real gems in Kuta who would stay the night and do the gf thing and fuck like a racehorse; half the time for free because they had money. The non pro women who are working have no time and if they are Hindu they are so busy with religious ceremony and community work you need to make an appointment to shag them a few days in advance. I had great success with Christian ladies from other islands who are being supported or running a business. Just go shopping you will find an owner of a small shop with a little time on her hands after you buy something from her. I ended my holiday with one week with an 18 year old Hindu Balinese virgin who would spend the nights after work with me. What a great ending to a 10 month trip with something so pure and free for that matter.

In sum, Cebu ranks highest in terms of liveability for a playboy with good looking ladies but Pattaya takes the cake all things considered for a short time sex holiday.

What I wish for is that my son in Vancouver grows up mentally stable, you might want to pray too after reading this post, failing that I plan to keep getting laid with a variety of hot young asian babes until I drop dead. So, time to go and play with my kid and build up my karma points.

Posts by Urban Wildlife and other serial Antagonists are NOT permitted in this Forum. If this individual actually goes anywhere, from what I am told, it is Latin America. What interest can he possibly have in this Forum, except to instigate conflict? This is exactly what "fake Scotty" did in December 2006 on the old Davao Board. The comment made relating to how genuinely wealthy individuals would have nothing to do with a "sex forum" implies that those of us here in ISG are pathetic losers. As stated, I am not extremely wealthy but I do have close friends and clients who are in this category. Two are very active in the swingers lifestyle. Dragon Slayer

I found out about two places today from a friend at work. Since the information he gave me was new to me, I thought I'd better share it before senility creeps even further and I forget what he told me.

First place, Taj Minar. This is a semi-decent Indian restaurant in Damosa Gate Center. It's food is not bad but unremarkable. According to my friend, at about 10:30 every night the owner, a Canadian/Afghani/Indian, turns the place into a bar. Pushes the table to the wall and brings in two belly dancers, both of whom are allegedly available. According to my friend, about an hour after the "show" started about 8 hookers walked in and started working the place. Some, he said, were not bad. So, assuming my friend is correct, you can get your chapati, your lassi, your chicken curry and your blow job all without leaving the table.

Aquarius is a new place on Lanang, north of Swiss Deli but south of the Grand Regal Hotel. As you head north on Lanang, you will see it on the left side of the road a couple of kilometers past Swiss Deli. I thought it was a sort of high send KTV, but according to my friend, it's just a bar with lots and lots of GROs. He said that the ladies are not available for take out during working hours, but may well be once they're off duty. He also said that some of the ladies who work there are "stunning."

So there you have it. Two more alternatives to the usual bar scene. Good luck.

I have been to the Aquarium many times. Used to hang every now and then with two sisters who works there. They told me you can take the girls into the KTV next door for privacy. Aquarium was the place where I was/suspected to get some eye drops (or similar) in my drinks. It's a well known trick to get people fucked up fast to mix eye drops in the alcohol. I told you the story about what happened in a previous post. Maybe I was just sleep depraved and paranoid but I don't think so. Something felt very wrong and I am normally 100% easy going about most places. Anyway I'd suggest you to keep an eye out and avoid doing like me, I. E. A) have all your money in one big bundle in your pocket and B) leave your drink unattended. Yes I know. I deserved it. LOL And by the way. I'd rather go to Kaoris over the street any time of the day (night). Pretty girls that are easy to chat up, ok food, cold beers and nice bands. What more can you ask for. The only down side is that the girls work most of their life and you have to catch them the few hours after sleep or on the "rest day" (more like hours between sleep and washing up).
