What is the deal with masive influx of viet girls at Nana?
It used be rare to come across Viet girls in Bangkok. Once in a while, an odd one but last night I ran into soooooooooo many freelancers from Vietnam. What's with this influx?
China is a good thing ???
You are thinking of the old USA, that nation no longer exists.
The new USA could cut a deal. Perhaps recovery help in exchange for Koh Phuket, which will be renamed "The Riviera of the Andaman".
Once went to siam Reap, international airport, very very huge, made by China, there are approx 30 gates, and everyday there are just 30 flights. The present infrastructure is used to just 5 percent capacity. Now poor Cambodia has to pay back every pie. In my opinion, they will not able to do it in next 100 years. So the country will just become slave of China. Other countries may also be doing similar things. But this I saw with my own eyes. Difficult to bat for China.
Wish I had better news for you
Hi, I wanted to get some clarity from fellow forum members. I keep reading conflicting messages about providers refusing Indian and African descent gentlemen. For example, in the original message I got the impression that a non-Asian / non-Caucasian man might have some luck at Therme. But the above quoted reply points to the more limited choice. Most posts I have read imply it would be completely stupid to go to Thermae if you are not of Asian descent.
My question is more about high end soapy massages or escort services. If a non-Asian / non-Caucasian gentleman goes to a soapy massage, will he be turned away outright, or will the lady refuse to see him once he picks her? I was referring to establishments like Poseidon, Tara Entertainment, etc. One person I know reached out to an agency in Thailand and they ghosted him completely, once he told them he was brown. At least with a freelancer you will know if she is interested, by her tone, or her simply telling you no.
I want to politely mention, that I am not trying to start any type of back and forth on background or cultural heritage, or offend anyone in any way. Rather I would like to kindly please request some guidance and get some other members experiences and thoughts. Thank you.
I spent 10 days in the country back in August. Posted a detailed report on my trip here. Did 5 days in Pattaya and 5 in Bangkok. For background I am an early 30's white guy from NYC metro. Regarding your question about "brown" mongers, I will share my observations from my trip. Most of this pertains to Indian mongers, I'm not as sure how a black or African customer might be received.
In Pattaya Indian guys were stopped at the entrance to walking street gogo bars. I think most were not permitted to enter. I heard from some of these guys that bouncers apparently told them there was a 5 k baht entrance fee. I didn't have anything like this happen to me, just walked right into the gogo bars, no fee and no ID check. My hunch is that Indian guys will have an even harder time with P2 P in Pattaya than in Bangkok. The reason being that there are just a ton of Indians in Pattaya, and the girls / clubs tend to disfavor them as customers.
It's a similar story in Bangkok. I observed that near the entrance to nana plaza, many Indian guys would be stopped. Again, I had no issues and would just walk right into nana. But I saw other guys get stopped, questioned and they would have to show ID or maybe were even asked to pay an entrance fee. I did see a few Indian or "brown" guys inside the bars at Nana plaza. From speaking with the girls at Bangkok gogo bars, however, I had a few girls tell me that they will not get off the stage if an Indian guy buys them a drink.
Not trying to discourage or anyone or start any shit. Just my honest observations from the trip. I was surprised with how poorly Indian customers seemed to be treated by the bars / girls given how prevalent Indians are in Bangkok and Pattaya especially. Anyways, food for thought before you get on a plane and spend your time / money visiting Thailand.
Collapsed State Audit Office Bangkok
It's supposed to be 33 stories, partially constructed by The Chinese Railway Engineering #10 group. It's the only high-rise building in Bangkok that collapsed in the earthquake, even only partially constructed. How worse can it be when more weight are added with floors, walls, roof, equipment, furninsing ect.
Preliminary suspects are the beamless, flat-slab floors structure design which did not hold columns rigid in the earth movement. Substandard reinforced steel is also a suspect. Would be very scary to live in buildings with all those extremely heavy flat-slab floors potentially pancake down in earthquakes.
