I actually love going back to Australia for a few weeks each year as it allows me to monitor the progress of my "seachange". I meet past friends (school and work), walk around places that were previously the centre of my universe, and continually assess just how much further I have developed as a rounded human being. My past friends are caught in a time warp still doing exactly what they were doing 14 years ago when I left, and the places I see are also unchanged and deadly boring.

I used to live monumento station and I asked on this forum about hookers there. There are several hookers on the alley next to the mall. They are easy to spot are they are just waiting there.

I find landing at Heathrow to be a strange expereince akin to being in a 3rd world airport. Last time I landed there was a sign that said " Use this toilet, next toilet is a 20 minutes walk. " Granted its a big airport.

Car hire is ok but cost of gas is stratoshperic.

The men and woman all look bulky in big sweatshirts, pasty white faces that they always seem to have full of food.

I hear people especially schoolkids shouting and swearing on the street and in malls with foul language and no one bats an eye.

I see kids smoking and generally having no respect at all.

For me it would be a prison sentence to have to go back and work there.

I can tolerate it for a few days but would find it impossible to live there for any length of time. I left there some 26 years ago as it was always my dream to live in different countries. So far have lived in 10, and about to move to the 11th and final time.

My six day game plan is to stay in Makati at either the Icon or the Dusit (whichever hotel gives me the best rate) and to focus all my attention on Burgos, Havana (Greenbelts) and Icon bar. I may never leave Makati, but if at some point I get tired of the venue or the girls don’t satisfy, I will start to expand my field of play first to Edsa and then if that doesn’t do it, MBC. I hate getting stuck in traffic jams. I remember what BKK was like before the BTS. It took forever to get anywhere. I want to avoid that if possible when I go to MNL. On a follow up trip I might consider staying at the Hyatt or some other place close to MBC and Amazon just to have unfettered access.

A few more comments: The story of getting caught in the elevator partially clothed was priceless. And the drama with the girl who extorted the extra 1000p was pretty edgy. In the end you did the right thing by paying up and then forgetting about it.

I think it depend on the Family. Its kind of hard to group a whole country into one catagory of this or that.

Just like anywhere there are families that raise their children with Morals and Values whether they are poor or not and there are other families that just dont give a shit.

I guess girls that are in the Sex business may more often fall into the families without Values and Morlals catagory.

It really depends what you are looking for, in the long term. If you are resolved to simply be a monger and enjoy the sex, without anything more, then cut her loose. Non-pro filipinas have a sort of magic that can make you fall in love.

On the other hand, if you are open to the possibility of a real relationship, and possibly marriage, then go for it! In fact, I would venture to say that, for marriage purposes, you do NOT want the women with totally awesome model looks.
