I took 2 Pattaya bargirls to Crazy House last night. I watched the naked dancers, they watched the customers, particularly the young Korean guys.

I am single and I will be traveling alone so company for a meal or other time spent together is a plus for me. So is having a woman in bed with me for the night, with or without sex. One before sleep and one in the morning sounds good to me.
Thanks for the response. I'm probably looking at about a 3 week trip to make it worthwhile flying from the east coast of the US. Apparently there are overnight trips to Angor what from Bangkok, which makes the idea more attractive. It's on my to do list but I assumed it would be a more difficult side trip to organize. If I get my shit together and settle on dates and an itinerary I am sure I'll have more questions.

I highly suggest that you join a dating site like Thai Cupid. If you don't need a trophy hard body next to you for the night, I think you will be able to score with attractive women who are 40+ that would be amiable to share your bed for maybe the price of a dinner or a day trip. I have traveled extensively enough to understand local pricing, and I am not going to overpay just because prices are cheap compared to home, but 10 K is a little over $300 USD. It's hard to find a decent girl for an hour at that price at home. If I meet the right girl that pricing won't be a problem. Once upon a time I might have looked at Bangkok as an all you can eat buffet. These days my style seems to be more "temporary monogamy". There are too many options in Bangkok for that, but I do value "companionship", and that certainly seems to be available and affordable. In my experience very few working girls anywhere turn down a good free meal, and most love excursions because they don't get the chance to do touristy stuff and see the sights in the cities they live in. The last time I took a girl to a museum (in Colombia) I doubt she had ever been to one before, and I almost had to drag her out. And it wasn't that good a museum. My guess is a lot of girls in Bangkok would love to visit an elephant sanctuary, do a river cruise, or a palace tour. I was planning on visiting Phuket, but now Pattaya seems like it might be a better option for snorkeling and beach stuff, combined with hobbying. I would like to get out of Florida in July or August but going to even more heat plus monsoon season doesn't seem great. Maybe wait until November / December, but options and pricing may not be as good in high season. Still thinking about it.

It's not much worse than that at some point during the day you can expect there to be a heavy rain shower, hopefully during the night, but in the worst case lasting a couple of hours during the day, and at that time I'll simply stay inside. If caught outside in the rain, I'll jump into a massage shop / coffee shop / restaurant / etc. for an hour or two until the rain stops.
If only visiting for a few days or a week, it might be a bit annoying to lose opportunities due to the rain, but for a longer stay, IMO it doesn't matter much. Unless there's some specific activities you want to do that are not so nice at that time (e.g., diving), I'd go for what fits your own schedule best.
