I find this morality interesting; that we should not want any woman who 'appears' to be under (or over) a certain age. This includes not only chronological age, but age difference "he is too old for her" or "she is to old for him". It really is age discrimination in the non-legal sense.

Think of the complement (not compliment) : According to your wisdom, Wolf, CS' lady will not be allowed to have a lover. What if she appears 14 for a long, long time (and she will)? Your morality will prevent her from having any lover. Even one closer to her age. Why would a mid-20's guy (her age) be looking at a girl who appears 14? Should her suitors be only teenage boys?
