According to Reddit Midnite, Rio, and SpicyGirls are similar. I can't vouch for that but since you have so many choices may as well avoid them. Speaking of choice I'the avoid Cowboy altogether. Although I had my first experiences there these days Nana is simply better.
In Nana Red Dragon seems to have a policy that if you call a girl off stage to sit with you then its a two drink minimum. This can be worth it tho as they have some super hot girls and get going a bit before billboard etc. Just know going in that if you call a girl it's going to be two drinks. That was my experience.

Agree, lots of options. So why be taken for a sucker. I'd normally buy at least 2 drinks, if I select a lady to sit with me. For me. Need 2 drinks to get figure out if the lady is worth the effort.

The girl might even ask you if she can order a "tequila and coke" or whatever as though that is some favorite Thai single drink cocktail when it actually means a shot of tequila and a glass of coke; 2-drinks.
That bit of word-play gives her a buffer of deniability, some vague standing to claim, hey, she asked if you would buy her a tequila and a coke, right?
That is a trick, a scam.
However, some bars have a policy, generally verbally stated upfront, shown on a menu or both, that you are required to buy 2 drinks for a lady who you agree to have come to sit with you. And after those first 2 drinks you can continue on to buy her 1 drink at a time as long as you want. Or no more than those first 2 drinks.
That is a particular bar's policy, not a trick or a scam. Unless, of course, no effort is made verbally or clearly stated on the menu that such a policy exists in that bar and you know nothing about it until the 2 drinks and the bar tab arrive.
One bar that has or did have that 2-drink policy that has been reported on here is Bunnys 5 in Nana Plaza, whereas I am not aware of the other Bunnys bars in Nana Plaza having that policy. Maybe they do but I have not read or heard that they do.

There must be a means for the lady to send you the QR code. Email, whtsapp, Line, etc. In the case I outlined, the lady was changing her Line account and sent me her new Line QR code using her old Line account. I added her new Line ID using the QR code and then deleted her old Line ID.

I have seen some girls post their Line ID QR code as a picture on Locanto. Which you can then use. Many don't do this though and just post their regular Line ID so I guess they haven't caught up yet.

That's my current method for bar girls, freelancers, and massage girls. If you meet a girl on ThaiFriendly, you can send your QR code via the TF private message system. If you meet a girl on ThaiFlirting, then you need a separate way to exchange Line QR codes (e.g., email, WhatsApp, post QR code with pictures for everybody to see). I don't know about Locanto.

I am not a fan of "point and shoot" type engagements. Whether that be a website hooker, or a lineup brothel, or other format where you pick a girl and fuck her. I enjoy the social aspect and bar setting. So whether that is Bangkok gogo bar, German FKK, or Brazilian Boate, it remains my favorite format. I like to hang with the chicas and drink before picking one to go fuck.
So for me, "value" is in the venue. And if I have to pay a bit more for that I truly don't mind.

But the one thing present in the Thai go-go scene not found in Germany and Brazil is all the pressure to constantly buy lady drinks. This aspect of the Thai bar scene I absolutely do not like! I like to get my drink on and buy a tute a drink every now and then. But the drinking that's expected in Thailand in the go-go bars is just too much for me. Both personally and in terms of pressure to buy drinks for the girls. I don't like!
Clear somethings up I didn't visit Thailand for African chicks I live in Pattaya and I'm just here in Bangkok on vacation. I just find gogos here kinda boring the plus is the the bar fine and st fee for the girl is cheaper than what you'ed find in Pattaya. I'm not in the mood otherwise I'd check out the freelancer scene in the clubs I'm sure it's good here. The food here is great though.
