Correction. Wire transfer fee is $30. 00
Wire transfers cost $60 from US to Brasi at HSBC regardless of the amount being transferred. HSBC uses the daily Tourismo cambio rate at the time you make your withdrawal.

You might also inquire at HSBC in your home country about opening a Premier Account which would allow higher cash withdrawls in foreign countries without a foreign bank account.
Wire transfers cost $30 from US to Brasi at HSBC regardless of the amount being transferred.
Can you fall in love with your termas girl?
Can you fall in love with your termas girl?
Does anyone know of a fellow monger that hit it off with their Termas girl and had a long term relationshp that worked?
Is this at all possible? Or is this a pipe dream? What are your experiences?
Take out R$ 1000 of each ATM card to total of R$ 3000 per day.
That is funny. I use my Brazilian bank accounts for LOW payments. If I need R$ 100 of cash.
Because the foreign banks charge too high a fee, I always take out R$ 1000 at a time.
If you have 3 bank cards with US$ 1000 limit a day, that gives you an easy 3 times R$ 1000 per day, and if that is not enough you take out another R$ 600 per card until you reach US$ 1000 on each card. That is not enough?
Banco do Brasil allows you R$ 1000 per withdrawal. They don't allow you a second withdrawal with the same card, so you go to Bradesco, or Banco 24 hours, Citibank or HSBC. Bradesco allows only R$ 800.
I try to ALWAYs take money only out of Banco do Brasil (o nly the ATMs with the Visa / Master Card sticker). Banco do Brasil has 24 hour security guards, this is why cloing there is very rare. HSBC seems to get a lot of cloning.
The reason would be that at least when I travel to SP most girls require cash payment and my budget usually is higher than I consider comfortable bringing as cash. Additionally the limit pr day at the ATMs are too low.
If I could wire money from home to my brazilian account before I leave home, I could withdraw cash from the cashiers counter instead and avoid the ATM limit.
GK
Oh, and I fill my Brazilian bank account with ATM withdrawals. Ideally you have an account at the bank where you do the withdrawal so you don't have to haul money anywhere, just pull it out of the ATM, put it in an envelope, and deposit it in the same ATM.
Can you fall in love with GDP
Note* Excuse me as I had posted this in the Sao Paulo thread by mistake.
Can you fall in love with your Rio SP?
In Rio you have the chance to meet Girls with real endearing personality. Moreover if you are travelling to Rio, you are yourself in the best state of mind : relaxed, in a very enjoyable atmosphere. You find many things ideal, better than your daily round : climate, sea and maybe girls.
And what is really surprising with some Rio girls is their generosity. In termas or elsewhere, you can meet nice girls, who are not trying to protect themselves at any cost. I have been surprised that some are really open and ready to share emotions with you even if it is for a limited time, in a termas for instance. If there is a good fit, she will make the time spent with you enjoyable for both. And then there can be a seduction game. And you may fall in love.
But you need to remember the context and that many of these girls may wait something from a relationship with you : to get out for a moment of their daily condition or better to have the chance to stop their job.
Your feelings in a daily relationship can be very different from the ones you had in a particular context.
However that's for this, that I found Rio unique.
