Wonder Massage (Asoke): outstanding management
I've previously complimented Wonder Massage (opposite of Smile massage, down the same soi as Duangaporn / Som's haven BJ bar) for how polite and service minded the "admin"/ mamasan staff there are, both the guys and the women managing there. Once after I finished a session there, it had started pouring down, and they gave me a free rain poncho to go.
More recently I had a so-so experience with a girl there (Jackie). Not the worst, but she was so scared I would CIM, that this, combined with rather poor technique, made it impossible for me to finish. After 40 minutes out of 60 up in the room, shower, a good oil massage, and some covered sex included, I gave up. The girl told me there was still 20 minutes left, and asked if I would like to change girls? Well, that's new to me. I thought about it, but couldn't see how that would manifest itself, as all the other girls were four floors down. Would they parade them all up to me, or would I go down, and then up? Dunno, so after thinking for a few seconds, I just told her never mind. I did plan to ask for a new lineup once down, if for no other reason than to demonstrate I wasn't very pleased with this girls performance. If I saw someone else I liked I'd then pay for another session, and maybe they would give me some minor discount too?
After the session, one of the mamasans, not the one I talked with when I arrived, asked me how the session was, and I indicated it was only so-so. The girl spoke to her in Thai also. My Thai isn't much good, but from what I could understand, she described the situation more or less truthfully. The mamasan then asked me if I would like to try with another girl, and they would also give me some discount? I said yes, ok, show me the girls again please. She then clarified with me that I wanted finish with CIM? Yes. She then told this to the lineup, which promptly made 70% of it disappear. I almost grimaced inside when she said it aloud in Thai, and it seemed the typical thing of one girl leaving, and then some other girl feeling shy to continue standing there, indicating stooping to accept CIM would be ok for her, even though not ok for the girl that left, so she would leave too, and then the rest left too, except three lone soldiers, none of which were particularly my type. At that point I just told the mamasan mai pen rai politely, and prepared to leave.
I thought she had at that point at least made a decent effort at remedying the situation, and obviously she cannot force anyone to do CIM if they don't want to, as I guess that is not yet part of the working 'ho work contract in all shops. She said she was "worried about me", and asked me to wait a little please, and went away to call someone one the phone.
5 minutes later she was on a video call with some other shop (no idea which), where the papasan modelled 6 girls who she said would all accept CIM. I choose one of them, and 20 minutes later she walked in the door. Mamasan in the meantime warned me that the girl was new, and had only been working a few days, but would do CIM. Once she arrived, mamasan showed me the menu, and asked me if the 40 minute option was ok? I said it was fine, and wondered to myself what the discount would be. She then indicated I should go up with the girl, apparently with nothing extra to pay.
Girl who arrived was the girl from the video, but not exactly my type (siliconed, with some baby damage in the stomach area, albeit minor, and closer to 30 than 20), but ok enough and service was ok too. While her service would not normally warrant an extra tip from me, I tipped her 1000 anyway, hoping she'd mention it when later asked, to give a decent impression of me, and also because I did not know how the whole thing would be handled paywise for her, seeing as I did not pay anything extra for the extra session with her. On my way out, the other mamasan asked me if everything was ok, to which I said everything ok, and thanked her for handling this so well.
I've had some so-so sessions at other shops, but I've never gotten anything more than a "so sorry mister", sometimes sounding genuine, sometimes obviously something they couldn't care less about. Wonder Massage I will now on the other hand rate as outstanding as far as the management is concerned. Since I have before also had an unusually good experience with management there (though no bad session), I think this is consistent with them. They do indeed care about leaving a good impression.
I'm almost, but obviously not quite, speechless.

Started the night here. Most, maybe 80% of the stores mama / papa-sans would catcall. Maybe 20% of the girls out front would make eye contact and seem interested.
I saw a few lookers, but few looked back. Saw one that looked back and smiled, so I discussed in Japanese with papa-san out front, although he also spoke English.

But your much appreciated report on the session or rather half a session, if that, at one of those KTVs on Thaniya Road is the first report I have read anywhere that actually described some form of skin-to-skin sexual contact with a girl in one of those places.
And, I have to say, what happened and didn't happen for you in there sounds exactly like what I always suspected would happen to me if I went along with the mamasan catcalls to "come inside, choose a girl" I get when I walk past them.
Well, actually, since you are a white / Japanese around 40 years old who speaks some Japanese while I am a white / only guy around 70 years old who speaks no Japanese I suspect I wouldn't even get the crappy 60 second, no finish "BBBJCIM" agreed to by the girl for my 2200 thb including the courtesy LD for the mamasan.
Can you share whether that was your first time in one of those Thaniya Road KTVs? If not, were previous visits more rewarding than that time? Hard to imagine they wouldn't be I suppose.
I see you prefer KTVs. Are there other KTVs in Bangkok where an expenditure of 2200 thb would actually be expected to buy you a properly finished BBBJCIM with the kind of young spinner you also prefer?
BTW, the rest of your night in the Patpong gogo bars until you eventually booked a FL on ThaiFriendly was no more rewarding than my last foray into those Patpong beerbars and gogo bars several months ago. For me those Patpong bars turned out to be a total waste of time, money and a positive, hopeful attitude.
