Good report. Just a thought to add to your research!
My second stop was at seaview at 10: 45 PM to check out the Filipinos. Rates quoted were Dhs 800 to 1000. BUt after standing there for about 45 minutes I realized the ratio was horrible. As was the colour ratio. Almost all men were white and few locals. There were 50 plus men and only 15 girls. And the band is Awesome. I would go only to listen to the band there. Quality of girls B+
Theory II. If the ratio is not in your favour don't bother to stop, run like hell- rates will be high.
[/blue]
When assessing the ratio, you have to work out who is actively mongering. In Seaview particularly, a lot of white males are there to see the band with no particular desire to take a girl. Other places, York? might have a high proportion of lookie lous.

I realized my friend was unshaven, smelled of bear, and is definitely fat. [/blue]
I have got to ask. Where did he find the bear and how much did it charge?
In my view mongering is not so different from real estate here. In both activities there is a group of rent-seekers (landlords in RE, bouncers, sponsors, mamasans in mongering) who are clinging to their revenue stream while main groups (tenants, working girls are being squeezed between rising costs and decreasing income).
Eventually they will need to come down and adjust their expectations, if fixed costs go down girls can survive by either reducing prices or having less customers at the old price or a mixture. Crisis is hitting their origin countries so they supply of girls is still there.
If Dubai's rent-seekers fail to adapt, then Dubai's decline will be long and deep, me thinks.
Take care
Visited Jockeys yesterday at 11 PM. About 20 Africans and about 10 Russians. All were in the range of 3 to 6/10. Only 10 % had flat stomachs or good bodies. Got quoted even low rates of Dhs 400 for LT. And highest was 700. As about 1:30 PM there were a few even asking for Taxi money just to go home as there was no business.
I liked a girl from Ghana who said that she is addicted to having sex and if this continues she might infact go free with some good looking stud ( I am not) just to have fun.
About 15 men all standing and roaming around but very few takers. I think the economic slowdown has no doubt helped in the rates but it dows seem that the quality has also gone down.
Hanged ?
No seriously, a really good report. Most of the subjects, theories, etc may well have been covered before, but possibly not in such a succint, single post way. Very good info re venues, prices, and action - Glad you had a good time, look forward to reading the next installment.
Cheers, FF
I tried Roselady last week, and to be honest, it was a terrible experience with appalling service.
EDITOR'S NOTE: [blue]I would suggest that the author or another Forum Member consider posting a link to this report in the Reports of Distinction thread. Probably it's time to avoid rose lady. I had taken her service couple of times & the experience has been mixed and also depends on the lady you choose.
1. Liz: Gave an excellent service but out on visa run for the last 3 months. Does not look she would ever return. Rate her 7/10
2. Lisa: The service is so so...nothing great. 5/10
3. Meme: Good service ..BBBJ/rimming but does not look good. Speaks no english. Rate her 6/10
I have studied the reports from Dubai with great interest as I am going there on business in February. As far as I can read most of the action is going on in the citycentre of Dubai, but since I will be staying in the Jumeirah-region I am interested in knowing whether there are any action going on there. If so - where?
Please help - and I will return with a report shortly!
Depends on where in Jumeriah. But the closest would be Rattlesnakes on SZR.
One thing to point out, and I don't want to start a flame war here or attack anyone's opiniong, is that WGs are pretty much on top of the food chain when it comes to unskilled labor. Many girls with regular jobs make as low as 800 dirham per month. And they are also faced with rent increases and overall inflation.
So while I fully advocate to treat each girl with respect, let's not kid ourselves and feel too sorry for the WGs either. It's difficult to estimate the average income for a WG, but the other night Miss X told me she has a boyfriend who sends her 7, 000 dirham a month to compensate for her losses. If that's any indication, then well, a WG is much better off than any of the girls you see slaving away at your local McDonald's.
Again, I don't want to start a flame here and I fully realize being a WG is not always easy money, etc etc etc. But there is plenty of room for prices to come down.

Yes, this is a fair point. I was thinking of the reports regarding the "entry fee" at some clubs. Some people were using this to predict that prices will not fail, my point is that, at some point, everybody in the value chain will start reducing their money expectations and only then we will see a decrease in end-user prices.
But it is true that a WG can make several times (2-3x and maybe 10-20x) the amount a girl with similar qualifications is making here.

I partially agree and disagree with love tactics on his assessment of income of wgs. I agree with him that WGs earn more than any low income worker. They are on the top of the food chain. Some WGs have full time job during the day time. Sleeping around is basically to have something more. A house maid in Dubai makes b/n 800-1000dirhams. How much do you pay for LT for a girl over there? Multiply that by the number of men she sleeps with per month. Unless she is really very bad looking, she will definitely score b/n 5-10. I am being cautious here. She will have more. Not all WGs have boyfriends who send them 7000dirhams everymonth. That is where I disagree with love tactics. It is hard to say all WGs are like that based on only this one incident. As a matter of fact, there are some girls who send some money to their boyfriends at home. No matter what they do, they still love. They still hope that they will go back and start a family one day. Anyway, as you said it love tactics, treat them with respect, and slowly go from there. Negotiate the price more. LOL

After breaking the ice with her, I asked her how she afforded a very nice Honda S2000 convertible. She mentioned that she makes roughly 30k dirhams a month in her profession. Not completely unbelievable as she charged 2000 a night. So she only needs 15 customers a month.

I have had little mongering in the UAE recently though that may soon change. Regarding the economic posts, last night on ITV in the UK, that "Don't love him, or hate him" character Piers Morgan did a very illumminating documentary on Dubai, imaginatively entitled "Piers Morgan in Dubai".
You can view it online through ITV player and I recommend the viewing. http://www.itv.com/ITVPlayer/Video/default.html?ViewType=5&Filter=34826

'Piers morgan in dubai' is available on youtube.com
'Piers morgan in dubai' is available on youtube.com
Thanks. Just watched it.
It's an extremely shallow report. Not only has it all been said before in other documentaries, the other documentaries have said much more, been much deeper, more balanced and realistic, and actually journalistic, rather than this "Sunday magazine" rubbish. Looks like Piers Morgan was brought in for a free "high-life" vacation. Even Dubai-based TV journalism is more critical and honest about Dubai than this frothy "glossy Dubai" report.
