I don't follow Yen/Won in any detail, but I do remember that late last year the Won was down by 40%.That, plus a three month visa, makes it possible to do a kind of reverse sex tourism in which the ladies come to the clients.

I have been checking out the Misawa forum and I agree from what I read the strip clubs do not seem to have good eye candi. I think to get good service, its really a matter of luck. If I can speak of my own experience, you have to be polite, show that you MAY be a return customer. Speaking some good Japanese, asking for good service ("yasahikute, sa-bi-su ga ii no onna", looking like a pervert, insisting to have a girl on the photo (shimei dekimasuka? ), let them know you've been going to other shops as well. Then be kind with the girl, and show confidence? Also, as the report on ChanceDh shows, there is no correlation between the price paid, and the level of service. Thats why (and I have restricted my budget too) I try to go to the lower priced joints. At least if I get ripped off, its not by much, and I have lower expectations. Consequently, you will have to do a lot of work to get anything not on the official "honored guest" list. Based on the language in your e-mail, it does not seem that you are intending to make that level of commitment. If you just want to "score a J-girl," I suggest contacting Asian Mystique. You can search this forum for hundreds of posts about that particular agency, called AM for short.

I will post my findings when the action is done. I will have to check up on those soapy massages areas in Tokkyo.

I really do not understand whatever Gaijin Otoko is trying to say, though jump on the Skyliner to either Nippori or Ueno. Takes about 50 minutes.Haven't checked of late, though sure you can find directions to the infamous NYNY Soapland, Ueno UBC, etc. in Ueno (little or minimal Japanese needed). In Nippori, I suggest Funny, Rabbit or Yuri in which limited Japanese is needed. If you can speak, Four Seasons, Diamond or Paradise are quite good. Not sure if Vitamin is servicing foreigners these days.From Narita, Funabashi is about half way to Tokyo though haven't tried anything there personally.

If you know of ation around narita, just let us know instead of rubbisg=hing other suggestions. I would also advise him to take the Narita express to Ueno, and go to NYNY. A cheap gaijin friendly soap.
