I'm typically in Thailand for 3 months, so I do have more luggage than just carry on. In Bangkok I stay at a hotel by the Ploenchit BTS station, so I take the Airport Rail Link to the BTS, then just a few stations to Ploenchit. I have not noticed an elevator at the BTS Ploenchit station to the ground. There is an elevator from the ticket booth area to the platform. It is a little bit of a hassle carrying my luggade down the stairs, but it is down, not up. Going up, there is an escalator, but only after 4 or 5 steps on stairs.

A big improvement at Phaya Thai came a few years ago. There used to be stairs between the Airport Rail Link end point and the BTS. No escalator, no elevator, stairs only. That was all changed a few years ago so now one can wheel luggage from the ARL escalator all the way to the BTS.
Just a side note: I been traveling continuously around SEA for the past 5 years, I do that from my backpack and a laptop bag. I been living out of my backpack.
After a while you realize that you don't need much, and you can buy whatever you need for cheap, and laundry services are everywhere.
The girls are not impressed by Gucci or Armani, because even if you don't want it, that's all they sell in SEA. In the end all we are are is just an walking ATM to them.
Wednesday, December 17th.
Thermae: literally it was packed with girls, many of them were new to me. At least 1/3 were doable to my taste. The Japanese and Korean punters outnumbered the China punters.
Billboard had a terrible lineup. Lots of unattractive girls to my eye. The situation was a little better in rainbow number whatever the first one you come to after the escalator. The star of the night was Twister as it was literally packed with slutty looking skinny young stuff. I took one back to my room, a thousand for the bar fine and 4000 for her.
The Maison stroll was active. It's all Vietnamese, burka babes, uzbeks and africans. Africans being on the other side of the road. There was an Uzbek girl who was attractive but I wouldn't doubt that she was trafficked and it looked like she was hitting the pipe a bit so I passed.
I got a feeling that was my last night in Bangkok. The scene just isn't the same and Thailand seems to be a boiling kettle ready to explode if I can mix those metaphors. I'm not going to get into that now but within a week or so I will put together an analysis of my opinion and posted in the appropriate section.

I always travel with 7 kg in a backpack. Even went to Seoul in January with that. Cold weather hot weather it doesn't matter. Tech fabrics and things you can wash in the sink and will dry overnight.
Hello gents. Younger lad here who's not that bad looking, get plenty of marches on tinder / bumble.
From those dating sites, bumble is the worst by far, all girls say "hey" which is typical in us but was hoping for a little more effort at least here in Bangkok.
For tinder, catch 22- some more introverted girls who are actually trying to find some BF or long term, they view foreigners as more exotic, I'd say that it gets you matches quickly but harder to follow up here- if you try to push for dates quicker, they'll resist & generally just want validation.
On the flip side, more extroverted ladies will be down, but I found they're quicker to respond & confirm if you offer actual gifts- propose the transport & then say little bhat for your time, but at the point, you're tilting more towards standard pay experience anyway so it might just be extra steps. One thing here is, many girls might have some standards or expectations, so can end up with more genuine connections & end up paying less vs top end gogo clubs maybe? For example, proposed 2 k baht to meet a girl, we had a great time and she didn't ask for more after. Super hot. But for the amount of effort I put it, it's still not that worth I think and this was definitely a unicorn experience that I have lot been able to replicate, have sent many many messages.
I've gone after the higher end models on seeking and am usually quoted with 10-15 k.
From my experience. Gone out twice so far, the pros are real GF experience- girls speak good English, and are ready to go out & about, and it feels pretty natural to me. Both didn't make me wear condom. (Risked here as I think these girls are lower volume but I will get tested before I leave) I think for similar looks on us, it's about $ 600-800 a date so about half the price or so. Still not the worst.
I have not tried gogo clubs or parlors this trip at all. I went 1 time many years ago in Pattaya and didn't like it. I would imagine the English is much poorer. What about looks? I think maybe top end gogo girls are still under 10 k? I think I'll be tired of talking & going to fancy places soon & when I want just the deed done I can do this. But I am picky and only like models so if anyone has any spot recommendations please let me know.
One other thing I wanted to try was clubs. Anyone has any experience pulling baddies from spots around here? This part does seem harder / not sure where to go, any spot / move recommends? Thank you!
I share similar views on this for the most part.
Tinder, Grab, WhatsApp, eSIMs (travel), and Wise have been real game changers for travelling in Southeast Asia. Gone are the days of relying on bar fines, massage shops, or club pickups. I only do that if the girls don't turn up.
I now use WhatsApp's "Add to list" feature to keep two sets of contacts. One group can come quickly (even if they're outside my usual age or body-type preference). If the stunners aren't available, I'll try that for another hour. Only after that do I head out to clubs, bars, or massage shops.
That said, I genuinely love Asian food and relaxing massages scrubs, foot spas. It's all part of enjoying the holiday.
Indonesia is my favorite destination so far, but this time I'm trying Bangkok and Pattaya.

Also hands on shopping can only be done here in SEA, groping one in the US will get you arrested on the spot. I do use TF in TH when I'm too lazy to go out and it doesn't matter if she shows up or not.
CodeName47, to each his own, but I could NOT disagree with you more. 555! I find no pleasure in holing up in my hotel room searching for girls on the internet. Period.
In the spring of 2021, I had to rely on local internet escorts during my 1st visit to Rio and Sao Paulo thanks to the fact that most of the brick-and-mortar bordellos being closed. I met some great girls on the internet, but as soon as the prives, clinicas, and boates reopened there was no need to go on line.
The great difference between BKK and Pat vs most other girly destinations is how the sex is right out in the open in plain sight and there is so much of it. Thus, IMHO it's loco to fly all the way to LOS and not take advantage of this unique situation.

I don't know what your experience might me. Good or bad. Mine was bad. Accept it and jack off mate. Lately I find absolute stunner for far less 2500 from Tinder / TF, why would I drain my energy picking up a girl who has already done it with 3 other back to back risking god knows how many STDs.
For example. A girl who is an instagram Japanese origin model also work as a club promoter in Dope & Dirty when I was in Bangkok, I found her on tinder, got her for 2500. Same girl was also with a very famous premium escort provider called Tonybkk (Seniors will know). There are so much to explore and I think my two visit to Thermae tells me its not my game and I have done 100 x better using clubs, TF, Tinder.

Every day things change. Each one of us novice or frequent visitors have different experience each time. So to come down heavily on anyone for his opinion is not acceptable at all. If you can help do it else ignore and move ahead. Avoid giving nasty comments. This should be the cardinal principle not just here but of life. Enjoy and always voice your opinion.
Once in a while, forums like this derail from genuine intent of sharing of the information, sex in this case, that it is designed and setup for. For example, recently in the last 20's of posts have been sharing of means of transportation in BKK. That's a general travel topic which is best suited in travel forums like tripadvisor. And then some posts to show off some maculinity, pride, intelligence, etc which end up with personal attacks. It's ok as it's human nature and dynamics of a free forum.

In February I'll be staying at the Hop Inn Hotel for five nights, a few step north of DMK.
At night a lady whom lives nearby will stay but in the day I'll be free and likely bored. The large shopping mall close by will keep me busy, she says. Yeah, right.
I plan on heading to Sukhumvit at least one day but I would be interested to hear from others what action is available in this area?

Sex safety. Get your full STD testing package on the spot. If you want bareback then show her your negative tests. Get your Pep and PreP Pre and Post exposure HIV meds here. They also offer Anti-HIV meds Truvada, Descovy and the shot (Apretude) which is once every 60 days. Safe Clinic is a bit cheaper than Pulse. Take some form of HIV prophylaxis daily. FYI you will need 5 days of the oral meds before you are protected from HIV. Then take Doxycycline 200 MG or Azithromycin 1000 MG orally 24-72 hrs after any sexual exposure to protect against all the rest. Doxy is highly effective at preventing chlamydia and syphilis, reducing the risk by 70% to 90% in studies. Doxy is Less effective against: It is less effective against gonorrhea (around 50% reduction) due to existing antibiotic-resistant strains in many areas.
Azithromycin: Ninety-six per cent of patients with chlamydial infections and 92% of those with gonorrhoea were cured with azithromycin.

Transportation -.
Ride hailing apps. : Grab app. To get around town. It is the Uber of most of Asia. Bolt app. Often has cheaper fares and InDrive app. Lets you negotiate.
Get BTS Rabbit card for the train. I don't really use MRT. Pro-Tip. Don't forget you need to bring your passport to the station the first time to get your rabbit card. BTS rabbit card works also on some MRT lines.
MRT is a different card blue and purple lines use the M card.
MRT yellow and pink lines use Rabbit.
Spa / Onsen. This is likely the best massage I have ever gotten anywhere in the world. It is called Yunomori Onsen & Spa they have 4 locations: 2 in Bangkok (Sukhumvit and Sathorn), one in Pattaya, one in Singapore.
They do not offer any extras with the massages so I wouldn't go there for that. It is 100% legit Japanese onsen bath house separated by genders.
There is a male and a female side at each location. It is very affordable and all first class with slippers and some dope Japanese silk robes for you to wear. It is only like $ 25 USD to get in and use facilities. The masseuses are VERY skilled. No SEX stuff don't ask you degenerate. Not that kind of place. The 90 min deep tissue massage is $ 62 and that shit will change your life. I go to this place on arrival and then a few days into my stay. Then again the day before I leave Thailand.
Lodging:
High end close to Nana and Thermal: Landmark Hotel Bangkok is hard to beat or JW Marriot or Double Tree Hilton.
Moderate pricing: Ibis Styles or Novotel near Nana Plaza both good both on Sukhumvit 4.
Budget: Nana hotel good pool.
I got more just hit me up if you have specific questions. I'm headed there Jan 9-31. Will be in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phnom Penh Cambodia if anyone wants to meet up and chase some tail.
