Note that from October 28, flights will depart from terminals according to DESTINATION rather than CARRIER.
It has come about because PAL and AirPhilsExpress are now flying under one banner. Frequent Flyer points can accrue or be used on either carrier
Check out this link for the updated information.

NOTE: it is being implemented from October 28.
Cebu Pacific flights are unchanged.
Better get in early those of you looking for a cheap holiday.

The International Olympic Committee has just approved The Philippines petition to add a new event for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. The new event will be called Synchronized Sleeping. As expected, the Phils will be the odds on favorite.

You cannot buy freehold land in your name.
You can only buy a condo in your own name exclusively, and then only if 60% or more of the owners are Filipino.
. I wrote an extensive post on buying a condo here. Which you can search for as it'll give you some idea of what the process was like. I can recommend a law firm. Keep in mind that legal fees are peanuts here. And nothing compared to the total loss of your investment.
Some lose. Some of have gained hansomely.
I've just finished reading, for the second time, a wonderful book by Nic Kelman titled "girls". It's basically about successful men enjoying younger women.
Seems timely after hearing that 4star General / USA CIA head has resigned. Take a look at the biographer and then take a look at the wife.

FWIW, I'm convinced he resigned after refusing to give cover to the present administration by announcing he the CIA had NOT delayed any deployment of operatives in Bengazi when the US ambassador was slain. That threw the issue of military non response (to the attack) back into the military and ergo administrative realm of responsibility. Petreaus refused to fall on his sword, so they (Obama's operatives) probably brought out their own daggers to get rid of him.

Everyone is well schooled on the exploits used by adversaries, and the honey trap is the oldest one in the book. At TS / SCI level it's reviewed every 5 years. Whether a single or full scope investigation the questions are very detailed and a polygraph is conducted. Lie and one can be prosecuted. Petreaus made a human mistake, but at his level having full access to the most sensitive intel and ops, it's an unacceptable one.
That is one heck of a ridiculous conspiracy theory. If true, Petreaus could just go public. I'm really weary of the Fox news inspired Obama bashing. Could we please keep political rants off of the ISG threads. X.

Henry Miller, I think, suggested that for women, power (in men, that is) is the great aprhodisiac.

Hmmmmm, I won't get into my conspiracy theory as to why Petraeus really stepped down. Like Bill Clinton never had an affair?

No new ideas, only conspiracies and obstructionism from angry white guys. I listen to this kind of crap every day from the leader of the Republican party, Rush Limbaugh. BTW, it was the bible thumpers and their morality laws who took down Petraeus for having the audacity to enjoy a nice young piece of ass, not Obama. Hopefully new ISG member Petraeus will be posting G2 soon on the best lineups on Fields Ave now that he's been mercifully inaugurated as a fellow monger.

A foreign born national can buy a townhouse that has a 'condo certified townhouse' declaration. The townhouse can touch the ground. All of the condo certified townhouses I have seen are entirely within the grounds of a condo tower project. Some come with pools, garages, lawns, decks ect that are located entirely within the condo certified townhouse lot, and as such belong to the owner of the townhouse, be it a local or a foreigner. A foreign born national can own the townhouse outright 100percent without the need for a filipina-Filipino to be listed as the owner. These townhouse often demand a premium price and most are sold long before construction begins.
There exists no such declaration that 60percent of any condo tower or condo complex be owned by Filipino citizens, and that includes condo certified townhouses. The 60percent rule only comes into play when a corporation is formed to buy-transfer-rent actual land. Technically the land under a condo tower is owned by the developer, not individuals.
The foreign investment act of the Philippines RA 7042 and amended by act 8179 in 1996 deals with this topic. Within the next few months the foreign ownership rules will be updated (changed). No word if the Philippine Government plans to increase or relax the regulations.
