The term GFE means absolutely nothing other than from girl to girl and customer to customer. However it doesn't sound worth it to me to spend an extra hour traveling to save a few bucks. So what is the reason for the obsession with the trains? Are they really so great?

I am renting an airbnb for two weeks beginning next Monday in the Chatuchak district. I took a taxi from Sukhumvit 15 for 3.4 kilometers, google said 11 minutes, it took over 1 hour and that was at 14:30 in the daytime. It's horrendous. The issue for you there with trains is that you have chosen to stay out of the 'centre' so to speak.

Back home I'd walk 3 kilometers no problem, but I am not used to the stifling heat etc, so if I walked 3 km in Bangkok in the heat of mid-day I'd probably collapse and trying to get across many of the roads can be a challenge in itself.

Many members use the motorbikes, you have to have a certain mindset for it, too dangerous for me personally.
