Bangkok Reports

So excited for my upcoming trip! Been to Pattaya plenty but this will be my first dedicated week in BK. Staying at the Hyatt Regency. Going to try and taste a little of everything; BJ Bars (Lolitas?) Thermae, TF, Seeking, psyche-dream, high end Black caviar, I love a big fishbowl lineup (thinking LaBelle rn), love gogos (Leaning Butterfly), nuru (thinking Labelle), Nana, Soi Cowboy, and throwing in a couple Micheline restaurants, lots of street food and some river tours. How have we gotten to such a horrific point in world history that EVEN FOR a single act of sex in the third world, it is a thing to pay 1/2 or 1 full month's rent. (Please no responses telling me what expats pay for rent, there are also NYC apartments that cost $30,000/ mo. I know the rent several of my Thai teachers living in normal accomodations pay.).

And I'm not immune. When I was in Pattaya earlier this year, I was utterly, utterly shocked at the money that was demanded of me for ST from a BEER BAR. That's right: I sat there suffering in the heat, no ac or anything, and prices in the 3rd world are substanitally higher than for better service with a white woman, including bareback, in Europe. I'm done with Thailand, my future trips will be Europe / Brazil.
