Bangkok Reports

I'm not looking for a full research report LOL. Just asking if anyone has any they care to share etc. If not, no worries. I've been reading several months worth in anticipation of my trip, just thought I'the throw it out there in case anyone felt like offering any advice.

An additional 5% become obvious by the way they are acting (overacting femininity or being too forward are obvious tells). That accounts for 99.5% of them in the Sukhumvit scene on any given night that you will immediately know from the get-go who they are. #3. If you are still worried making a mistake, RTFF and stick to the recommended Go Go's, oily massage parlors, and high end soapies & G-Clubs. I can't see how you could possibly go wrong in any of these recommended establishments.

Never been to Curitiba, Brazil, but if even op can have a good two weeks there, it sounds like it must be a dream for the rest of us. I am arriving in Bangkok from the US and staying a few days to get acclimated to the time zone then heading to a few other Asian locations then ending my trip with a few more days back in Bangkok before flying back to the west coast.

My post resulted in multiple responses that CBJ was almost unheard of in Thailand, after that I made sure that all BJs were BB. This was at one of those now gone shit hole massage shops in front of Ambassador on Soi 11.

The difference between you, I and most people compared to Tex H is we recognized our mistakes, took advice and learnt from our rookie mistakes.

He not only thought he knew it all, he didn't listen to one piece of advice given to him from weathered punters on here. Worse still he then went on to cast insults not only on Thai girls, Thai culture, Thailand in general but also on the whole of SE Asia at one point!

" Let's just say it's in a class by itself as a naughty boy destination.

SOI COWBOY: In my view, a shadow of its former self. The bars run by "the Arab" are clip joints. Hot girls will lure you inside and pressure you to buy drinks which turn out to be ridiculously overpriced. You'll leave with blue balls, angry with yourself for being so stupid. For sure "the Arab" runs Rio, Deja Vu, Midnite Bar, Suzie Wong & Spice Girls. He may own more. He does *not* own Baccara or Crazy House. So if you must patronize Soi Cowboy, start with those two places. Otherwise, SC feels to me like it's trading on it's reputation. Too many civilian gawkers. Too much *outside* seating. Inside the bars the girls are just going through the motions.

NANA PLAZA: Inside the plaza itself you'll find multiple go-gos. I've always like the talent they attract: young, fit, pretty face and usually less ink. But if you're looking for taller, curvier and a whiter shade of pale you'll have to check out the upscale soapies like LaBelle and bring a fat wallet. Not that the Nana go-go hotties are cheap. You'll be expected to pay for some drinks, plus a bar fine of 1000-2000, plus a short time fee for the girl that starts around 3000 and goes up. There are short time rooms in the plaza, but the smarter move is to book lodging on Sois 2, 4 or 6. Plenty of options at all prices points. You can also try your luck with freelancers who hang out in Soi 4 beer bars and on the street. The area around Nana and Soi 4 features lots of nightlife and feels more lively to me than Soi Cowboy.

LADYBOYS: As others have noted, they're pretty obvious. But if you're in doubt, just ask. I usually lay on some flattery: "You're so beautiful. Are you lady? Or ladyboy?" The real girls won't be offended. Also, when you bring someone to your hotel it's wise to let them check in with security. Thai ID cards list natal sex. So if you're really concerned explain to the security guy on your way out that you'd appreciate a heads up if your "date" was born male. I usually make this request while forking over a tip of 100 baht.

Of course I've barely scratched the surface. Go back 100 pages and read forward. Make notes in a document your store on your phone. Take advantage of the trip reports that get posted here.

I tried it once again last fall and remained disappointed. Nana still miles better.

As far as Nana here's a few tips / faves from my POV.

Nana opens at 8 but takes a bit to get rolling. The exception is Red Dragon where there will be 20+ hotties from 8 PM sharp. Great place to start. Be forewarned they have a policy of two lady drinks if you call a girl off stage. Not a scam. Just policy. Know that going in.

Billboard is the best bet for a packed party atmosphere and has a rotating stage that is uber cool. Even if you don't pull from billboard it is a great place to spend time. But I've also pulled some stone cold hotties from there.

Geisha is worth a visit. Lots of pixies there. The girls don't rotate much which sucks but some great looking gals. The first time I went I thought the soapy tub was kinda lame. But second time the girls were all offering h to feel up their naked pussies for a smallish tip. Was kinda great to just sit there and lightly finger a girl (not like deep inside) and watch the spectacle.

Butterflies is a nice club with younger less silicone than biilboard but seems same owner maybe. They have some nice couches and chairs if you can get the mama to give you one. Easy place to hang. Have pulled a gem.

Madarin is upstairs from Res Dragon and all girls are fully naked in the tub with no strategically placed suds. Additionally it is super high mileage if you are buying a girl drinks. Plenty of hands on naked tits and even DFK if your girl is willing. Note that the bar fine and girls are HIGHER than elsewhere. But you can negotiate it down. I've heard a rumor that the girls that ask 5000 are BBFS. I can't confirm that but I can say that the girl I took asked 5000 but took 4000 and was BBFS no questions asked.

I imagine it will / should be easier to find viewings of the World Cup matches. Anyone have any suggestions for sports bars. Preferably with good views for mongers. TIA.
