As others have said alot depends on the girl and the situation. Generally speaking the girls on Beach Rd are aiming to have 3-4 customers a day at 500-700B a go. Most of them will be looking to try to get you to come pretty quickly so that they can spend no more than 30-45 mins with you. Many will dash to the bathroom as soon as you have come to get dressed and make sure you dont think you will be getting a second round. Hopefully if you pay a premium or find a good one you will get better more relaxed service. Certainly if you have bar fined a girl and paid 1000-1500B for short time you should not accept this type of hurried service.

Could you shed any light on duration fro ST on soi 6. If you were to take two girls upstairs would this lengthen the session or entitle one to the customary right of multi-shots?

In my experience the 1 hour time limit for ST on Soi 6 is somewhat elastic. I've been with girls in the ST rooms for 1 hr 45 mins, with no hassle, mainly because we were both having a great time. It really does depend on the girl's mood (in particular) and yours.

I think the general rule that applies to taking one girl also applies to two girls. You certainly won't get 2 x 1 hour because you've taken two girls.

You will get the regular 1 hour + a bit of extra leniency if all goes well.

Also, bear in mind that if you take two girls to the ST room above the bar you have to pay the 300 baht ST room rate twice even though you're only renting 1 ST room.

I have tried on countless occassions to explian that it should only be 300 baht for the room because I'm only actually taking one room, but of course the bar sees it from their perspective and they want their cut (x2) for providing a shop window for the girl (s) to sell their wares.

BTW does anyone know of a bar on Soi 6 that let's you take 2 girls upstairs for the price of 1 room?

The girls walking around are freelancers by definition because they are not attached to a bar.

However, if you are asking how do you know a Woman on Walking Street is a Wh*re? Then, no, there are no "signs" but there are plenty of signs.

Based on your question, you must not have visited Pattaya yet.. Better pack those bags my son!

Signs, for example anything that is tall that has large feet and hands and when you look at them and they have a large and very happy to see you look "that is the biggest sign of all"! But only the smile is free?

I always thought that the floor was 500 when I saw a punter in a car stop on beach road and flash three fingers to a not so attractive beach road girl which she subsequently rejected. It was low season too.

Does the time of day matter?

i would like to add few things. very few working girls will let you do it more than 2 times. less number of times they do it less damage for their body. remember they are not horny, they get all the sex they want. very few may take a liking to you and screw your brains out many times.
in general asian girls will do it whenever you want it if they percieve to be your girlfriend. like my thai gf put it as " because you touch me" when i asked her about why she likes sex frequently.
just because you took a girl lt does not mean she is going to stay awake all night having sex with you. many will come out with excuses like tired, pussy hurt, suddenly feeling sick, stomach ache from some food etc. even after one time sex they may come up with her friend needs the house key, baby sick, mother sick etc to go home in spite of previously agreeing to stay with you the whole night.
even if they sleep with you there is no guarantee that they will you sex in the morning.

5. never show your weakness to the girl. these girls are trained to exploit

6. last but not least be firm and in control.

I have been to Pattaya several times. Every time, I learn something new. Instead of saying specificaly what happened on my trips, I would try to describe the scene. Those who have visited there before or who are frequent travelers may find this report too simplistic, but for someone new who have never been there but thinking about it, this report may help. This is my way of giving back to this Forum, where I have found many hellfull information.

First, before you travel, obviously, you planned where you will stay once you are there. Please read the Pattaya Hotel Forum to get ideas about which hotel is 'Guest Friendly', that is, which hotel will allow you to bring in a Guest (a girl) from outside after you have checked in the Hotel. As a general rule, you should book for 2 persons when making your booking. After all, the price is the same for 1 or 2 persons. If a name is required, be creative and just write down, 'A Guest' as first and last name in the boxes for the 2nd person! I would suggest, book a hotel for 2 days between Soi 6 and Soi 13, between Beach Road and 2nd Road. You can check the location map of the Hotel when booking to verify this. (Soi = Street or Road in Thai). Then you can change hotel once you are their when you find a hotel that better suits you.

Whether you are coming directly from the Airport or from Bangkok. Taxi will be the quickest ride and may cost you in the range of 1,000 Baht - 1300 Baht. For a cheaper option, you may take the Bus. Google 'Bell Travel Pattaya'.

After you have arrived in Pattaya and checked in to your hotel, take a mental map of your location comparative to roads around you. Ask the reception, which way is the beach road, which way is the 2nd road, which way the Soi goes higher/ lower etc.

Take a stroll down the roads and you will notice many bars where many Thai Girls are sitting. Depending on the time of the day, the number of girls and the clients (man) will vary. Famiarize with yourself with many restaurants and Malls that are near your location. You will find many stores in the Malls and restaurants provide world class items/ foods.

Now, the best time to go out and look for a companion (after all, that is what you are in Pattaya for), is in late afternoon/ evening. Depending on your comfort level and your desire, you may walk into one of the many Bars, where you can buy a Drink and sit down and see the girls available and may offer to buy a drink to one of them. If you feel a connection, you can ask the girl if she is willing to go with you. Now, please understand, the girl is there just for that purpose (unless you are in a Bar like a go-go bar where the Girl is a Dancer and may not go out with you at all or not before her shift ends). At this point, the payment for the time period she will spend with you will come up. Usually, this time period can basically be divided into two terms. They are: Short Time or ST and Long Term or LT. Depending on the location where you are picking up the girl, price will vary. As a general rule it is 500 Baht to 1,500 Baht for ST and 1,000 Baht to 2,500 for LT.

Another place that you can find a girl is on the Beach Road. As you take a stroll on the Beach Road (on the Beach Side), you will see many girls sitting or standing on the Road. They are there to go with you. If you observe, you will notice that a man (just like yourself) is talking to a girl and after a few minutes ( that is if the negotiation of price is successfull), they will walk away together hand in hand.

At the end of Beach Road, there is a road called 'Walking Street'. This road is famous for many Bars, Go-Go Bars, Shows etc. Like Bars on the Sois and Beach Road, you will find girls here too. Pattaya is a place where you will find Girl to meet needs and desires of all tastes.

When you meet a Girl in a Bar, most likely you have to pay a Fee (called a BarFine to the owner of that Bar), this is in addition to the cost for the Girl. You do not pay a fee to a girl you meet on Beach Road, as they are Free Lancers. While you may find the Beach Road girl costs less, remember that when you take her to your hotel and something bad happens, there is no place where you can trace her back.

When you negotiate a girl to go out with you, the 'Act of Sex' is understood to be included. Just remember, while you are paying for it, the act itself still will depend on the chemistry and connection that you two feel towards each other. If you don't care, then that's fine too!

When you have picked up a girl after the price negotiation, for either ST or LT, then you can take her to your hotel, take a shower and have sex and she may leave (for ST) or take your time with her and do other things (for LT). Don't expect her take a shower with you, and don't expect her to have sex with out a condom (which you shouldn't do either anyway). It is better to talk about what you want when you are negotiating.

One word of caution: You may come across someone who is a ladyboy, a man who looks like a girl and you may not be able to differentiate. Use common sense and question if you have doubts.

I have not visited all parts of the world and don't know how girls behave when it comes to giving companionship to man even when I am paying for it. The thing about Pattaya is: Thai girls are beautifull, the city is beautifull, the foods are tasty and importantly the price is reasonably low.

If your goal is to have fun with a girl and as much as you want, all you need is just to be here and it doesn't matter how you look or what other social skills you may lack. Having said that, remember that while you can have all fun you want, at the end of the day a Thai Girl is doing it for social/ economic reasons. Treat her nice and you will be treated nicely. Just because you are paying her, doesn't mean you have to be rude, inconsiderate or don't have to practice good hygienic behavior.

If you have not been there yet, but want too, THINK TWICE. Life will not be the same, after you visit Pattaya.

That was a great report. After you have been here so long you forget about all the little details needed by newcomers, which you have added. I would only change two things about your report, which are mentioned below, hopefully you will not mind and I apologize if you do.

1) Unless you are staying at a high end hotel like the Marriott, Hilton or Hard Rock you really do not need to be concerned about booking a room for two people. All the hotels are so used to it now, if they did try to charge you this additional fee, they would not have any customers at all.

However, that was not always the case and years ago many hotels did attempted to do this.

2) If I was coming here for any longer than a week, I would only book a hotel over the internet for 2 days at the most. Once you get here you will not believe the number of hotels and the wide variety of them.

You can get a hotel room for as little as $10 up to $200. The hotel you book on the internet you might not like the room or location. In addition, without question, whatever you pay over the internet or through a travel agent will be at least 50% less when you walk in off the street.

In the afternoon, after you wake up just walk around the place a little exploring and you should be able to get an upgrade and a price reduction all at the same time.

It is very slow here now; not only Pattaya, but all of Thailand, so there are great hotel deals everywhere. If you are coming for 2 weeks or more you would actually be better off renting a condo for a month. You will get a higher quality room and the rate will be lower.

Not at all, Bill Miami. I am glad you liked it. You are right, in that, if you are visiting Pattaya for 1st time and intent to stay for a week or more, just book a medium priced hotel (USD 30 TO USD 50) for 2 days and then explore the location. You can always rebook your hotel or move to a new hotel just by walking 2 minutes. This may be difficult only between the months of December to February.

One other thing I forgot to add in my report: Both Beach Road and 2nd Road are one way streets. It is very easy to travel up and down these two roads as most of your activities will be confined between these two roads. There are Mini Buses/ Mini Trucks, whatever you want to call them, that has two rows of seat facing each other, that are traveling all the time on these roads. Price is 10 baht for any destination you want to travel on these roads only, just raise your hand if you want to get up and push the buzzer inside the car if you want to get down. Just a note, do not get into one that is parked on the road and is not picking up/ dropping off passengers.

I wanted to thank Jackson for this OUTSTANDING forum. It has both saved and cost me lots of time. Without this forum, I would be completely at a loss.

Just as an example, I will probably be headed to Jakarta this Xmas break. I will now copy / paste the entire Jakarta forum, read it, and take notes on it. Since I first began lurking on this forum, perhaps as far back as 1998, have read probably ten thousand ISG pages and taken hundreds of pages notes from it (eg: Cebu, Manila, Jakarta, Suribuya, Bali, Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Laos, Cuba, and other many places). Have learned very valuable info from it. This is the reason why I made this Pattaya Hotel Guide. It is my way of giving back to this forum.
