Good Day Fellow Mongers!
Some of you might remember me from my past posts. I am very thankful for all the advice that I received leading up to my first international trip. At this time of me writing this post, my trip is only 4 months 11 days away.
This time I have some miscellaneous questions.
Time: One of the biggest question is what is the best time of the days to monger. I will be basically going to Go-Go Bars, Soapy places, and picking some a free lancer or two. Based on my independent research, it seems like times of 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM seem to be perfect time to visit bars on Nana and Soi Cowboy. It also seems that you can get some good value for the money picking up a FL after 2:00 AM. - which is when typically all the bars close. My research also shows that going to the bars earlier allows you to take advantage of cheaper drinks for happy hour. TBH I don't care much for happy hour. I would rather take a nap in the late afternoon so I can be up into the wee hrs, but willing to venture out earlier in the evening if more talent is going to be available. But definitely not for cheaper drinks. LOL.
I am finding it a bit hard to research what time I should try and hit the soapy massage places.
Attire: What is the typical acceptable clothing for go-go bars. I have seen people dressed mostly in very casual clothes. I plan to wear a clean button down shirt and shorts or a nice T-shirt and shorts. Is wearing a baseball cap OK. Some strip clubs in United States don't allow wearing any headgear, while some are OK w / it. Especially in S. Florida where I have lot of experience going to strip clubs. I don't think it should be a problem in Thailand but I thought checking with experienced mongers won't hurt.

While I do not have the pleasure of remembering you from your previous posts, and if the ignore button works correctly, I will not have the pleasure of seeing your future posts either, but looking on your previous posts now, they seem to consist entirely of questions. Would it not be prudent for a gentleman such as yourself, perhaps from India or Pakistan, to instead of saying thanks for the previous advice only by saying "thanks", instead posts some of your experiences, so that we others can also learn from them? Surely this should not be a one-way stream, where all you do is ask for advice, but never contribute anything back?
With only four more months left of planning, I suggest you hurry up and post some of your previous experiences.

I don't have any experience yet in international mongering (Thailand or otherwise). I will definitely post a field report once I do make it to Thailand. My only experience is of US mongering and dating SBs (Sugar Babies) and I have written plenty of reviews on other sites that cater to the US mongering scene.
It's definitely your prerogative to ignore my posts, should you choose to do so. I have no problem with that.

Where is the best place to get Viagra or Viagra equivalent near Nana? I imagine in the chemists? Last time I was there loads of it sold on the street but not sure if real or not. In Bangkok July 31. Usually start off in Stumble Inn.

But otherwise I haven't been to a pharmacy around Sukhumvit that wouldn't sell you anything. South East Pharmacy is a sure bet (by soi 15).
Don't buy of the street vendors. Especially if you go for the gels. Drugs are temperature sensitive.

It has been a long time since I was in Bangkok too many years for me to count. But visiting two weeks ago some things hadn't changed, the bars in front of Nana were still filled with old guys on pensions complaining about things along with the older ladies in their 40's-50's keeping them company. I spent 3 nights at Maison Hotel and thank you whoever posted about it. Location couldn't have been better I booked through Agoda for 65/ night.
First the girls, it's the low season so talent was a bit sparse in the bars. I walked through Nana and Soi Cowboy and the girls were so aggressive that it was a turnoff. I used ThaiFriendly a bunch and was happy with the results, most quoted between 2-3 k ST which was fine, only one girl insisted on covered BJ. I also stopped by Thermae Cafe, it was an amazing line up of 5-6's. There were exactly 3 hotties the night I visited as I watched they turned down a few guys and said yes to two asian punters. Clearly they could afford to be picky, the last one quoted me 3 k and of course she was one of the worse performers showing yet again that looks often precede poor service. I was surprised at the large Indian / Pakistani population opposite Nana but should mean good Indian food. I talked to a few of the girls they mentioned Indians often come in groups and try to negotiate multiple guys for one girl each guy paying 500-1 k. Some girls are desperate enough to say yes. The highest I was quoted was 5 k by a very pale young stunner, she was willing to come down to 4 k for ST but no more. She looked like a k-pop idol so I am sure she gets takers. Just not really something I would pay extra for.
On my last day I visited Aya Massage, I was on my way to the airport so didn't walk around but I should have, there were a few massage places a block away that looked interesting with better talent than I saw at Aya. Aya itself was straight forward, walk in pick a package and ask for a line up, I showed up in the middle of the day and couldn't pull the smoking hot manager I would rate the girls 6-7's. Service was good and I went on my way to the airport a happy man.
Bangkok itself had changed a lot since I was there keep in mind when I used to visit there was no BTS. I was thinking of Bangkok as a retirement spot but the heat, traffic and pollution took it off the list. The condos are great, I walked around Thonglor and liked it, but couldn't get over the constant gridlock. I know some people rave about Chiang Mai so might check that out next year.

Hi Mates, I'm heading off to BK soon (20 days), and while I'm sure I can fill my time at night (partying) and mornings / early afternoon (gym), I'm struggling on what to do in the times in between. Some time I can fill with sightseeing, but especially having dinner's alone is something I dread tbh. So question to you fellow mongers out there; What do you do when alone in Thailand? Any easy way to socialize with other Monger's before we split?

Second, if you want to stick to mongering, BJ bars and massage places are a good way to spend the afternoon.
