Quality is variable though, and it's mostly thai men with limited english vocabulary. Many of them are also gay, so be vary, or you may end up with a sore bottom.

Outside there were two females sitting. One a girl in her early twenties I guess, the other one a woman around 30, who also looked decent enough, though not as good as the younger girl. They showed me the menu, which now spelled out BJ was without condom. I guess the enforced condom usage was not a success. Who could have guessed that.

Choose the younger girl, paid 1400, and up to the room we went. For some reason, no sink to wash your dick in here, which I could not remember from before. Have been buying some unique souvenirs from Little Wings House, Section 25, for DECADES; MUST visit for me. Near there, for some refreshments and people watching, La Rumba Cafe, section 26. Try the nam-a-now soda (lime squash with soda water. Very refreshing in the heat). Took over the space, enlarging it, after the previous bar closed post covid. Again, must stop. Yea, there are other, "better" markets, but Chatuchak is an institution.

Check out any Foodland's restaurant, Took Lae Dee. Tables and lunch counter. The one on Suk Soi 5 has quite the [I]character[/I] at the lunch counter, any time of day. They make a great nam-a-now soda. Food, both European and Thai, decent (and some boo birds continue). Nobody will look twice at you anywhere if you're eating alone. Take the opportunity to people watch. Do miss the ole Soi 7 Bier Garden; RIP.

Experience the salt-tapping (Korean thing) body wash and massage at Sakura Akasuri & Massage, Sukhumvit 55, between soi's 4 and 6 (Thonglor BTS station) on an afternoon. Afterwards, you will NEVER feel cleaner. Then stumble on down to Foodland, block or two away, walking away from Suk, for a drink or snack.

Have forgotten the name of the 'burb down by the river, the old docks with old warehouses, now a bit of art district with some nice wall murals.

Ride the BTS, look out the windows. Some interesting architecture around. If you see an interesting area, stop at the next station, and wear out some boot leather.

Take a nap during the HEAT of the day, you might need it.

No disrespect to anyone else, but hanging around other mongers too long gives you a skewed perspective.

I had open heart surgery there 18? Years ago. Emergency: after the stress test and Angiogram the Dr says: "Mr Don you have 85% blockage left main coronary artery. You get on airplane, maybe you die. " Great experience with the care & am still alive. I'm thinking of getting my knees replaced. Any thoughts?

Last visited a year ago, but only to buy some &Ampersand ice cream in the lobby (they'd closed their shop up in Thong Lor). Definitely looking more modern and OVERRUN with foreigners at the entrance, lobby. No doubt THE foreign hub for medicine.

These days, I use Bangkok Hospital, near Suk Soi 55 across the canal. Bit less crowded, easier to get to. Have received great service just walking in when there was "problems", nothing major (walking pneumonia) and a bizarre episode with my eyes (fireworks. Seems when you get old, the ole eyeball "oil" shrinks, causing flashes). They checked my retinas, no problem, suggesting I see a specialist when I got home. One difference I did notice between Bumrungrad and Bangkok Hospital, when the doctor sent me to x-ray at Bangkok for the lungs, I was left to find it myself (with directions) rather than having my hand held by staff to lead me there.

Only posted to say there are other options for quality medical service.

Even after reading many FRs, I still have some basic doubts as a first timer in Bangkok.

1. Some NURU massage parlors say Full service. With gelatin all over the body, how does Condom work in FS? Or does it mean without.

2. When SOAP massage can result in FS, what is the need to go in search of girls in Bar? Are the bars cheaper or is it for.
