Medellin Reports

My Spanish tutor lives in Bogota and told me the story of the 4 children aged 13 to 1 that survived for 40 days in the Jungle. The baby was only 11 months old and they all had no food or water and just survived. The 11 month old is a little girl. I'm a million percent sure that she is the toughest baby in the world. I wonder what she thinks this world is? Those kids are so brave they should be offered US citizenship by default. We need people like them. The more I read about this story the more amazed I become. Supposedly a dog found the children but got lost and they are searching for the dog now / still. I have basic survival skills ie find water, make shelter but I don't think I'the last more than 7 days. It's an amazing true story.

Last night was in Manrique with some local party barrio novias, got to love the barrio chicas. Get out of Medellin and certainly the hell hole Poblado.

Its a Zona Rosa with many clubs and bars. Lots of local talent around. I felt as safe there as I do in any other location in MDE. Manrique, El Centro, Barrio Antioquia, Itague, Boston, Campo Valdes, Castilla. That is to say I felt pretty safe.

People go on complete water fasts for over a month. Myself I have fasted for 7 days with no problem. Your right those kids were awesome. I bet the leader of the group was the key.

These sorts of groups cross the line of what is legal, and I think it is safe to say that authorities wish they would cease to exist, so whether legal or not they will bring trouble on themselves. Sex tourism is considered an "evil" by general society there. So the closest to a webpage or guide you will find is this forum, where people merely share their experiences but are not doing it for profit or for personal gain of any kind.
