Most places are notorius for not answering e-mails or faxes unless they have a farang owner or manager so better to call.

I have stayed in most of the better hotels in Pattaya but I'm looking for an apartment, now. I have searched everywhere for a 1-2 week luxury apartment rental, like Northshore, or similar.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can look?

I'm happy to pay 25000-30000bt a week, mayb more for the right place.

You might try Jomtien - there are some good condo places for about 20,000 per MONTH (just a little out of the way because of being in Jomtien) Just take the place for a whole month and "leave"

Across the road from Roof Garden Inn is a spanking new place called Nirvana
and there is another in Jomtien - I have no idea if the places are connected.

I don't spend too much time in Pattaya and live upcountry, but I have a friend coming to visit that wants to go early December.
I booked room at the Dynasty Inn, but I cant get a firm fix on how close it is to fun, or what it is like.
Maybe someone has some suggestions, reasonably close to the beach and walking street, and no problem with ladies, maybe multiples.
Any ideas please, all will be appreciated.

Thanks guys for your help and apprecuate your assistance I have already reserved a room at Sabai lodge at the rate of 1600 inclu ABF a deluxe room at the Reuihn Pool and they will even send me a cab at the ariport for 1400 which I think is reasonable too as I will check in hopefuly 12/31/06

Bubba[/QUOTE]Well Dynasty is only up the soi from the hotels I and my friends stayed at when I was there, cant remember the name A and something or other. We wanted to stay in Dynasty but was booked when we showed up on the spur of the moment. Its on soi 13 i think? Its about a mile or less from walking street, the soi is right off the beach. Its the hotel Im thinking of booking when I return in May. As far as I know its very GF. But there are many more hotels that other members have recomended to me when I asked. Theres a list somewhere below this and your post.

Eastiny Residence (Soi 10) has raised their rates because of the high season. All rooms superior/deluxe and regular are now 1290B per night, even though the email they sent me to confirm my reservation read 1090B per night for the deluxe room. There is a list posted at the front desk that shows the rates going up even more at the end of February 2007 to 1490B for the regular and 1690B per night for the deluxe/superior which comes back into effect, puzzling as that may be. The receptionists said they are working with management to get them to keep the rates down. This is one of my favorite Hotels in Pattaya but these rooms are not worth 1490B much less 1690B but we will see if the demand is there for these prices to remain permanent next year. Just about every time I have been there, the 7th floor which is where the deluxe rooms are have been almost empty so we shall see.

Pattay hotels. Had an Aussie mate book me in to the Pattaya hotel October.(a little way out of town next to carrourfor, great room and rates (don't stay on street side), 10usd/ K bed, air, 45 station TV, fridge, clean, recommended. A man could stay a long time. Bike to nite life 40 Bah on way.

Bubba[/QUOTE]I've stayed at the Dynasty Inn before and it has fairly new and good size rooms. You are only a few steps away from Second street and there is a beer bar right there on the corner. A right at Second St and you are a quick walking distance from many beer bars and clubs. Or cross Second St and up a little bit and you come to a bunch of newer beer bars. A 10 baht bus ride and you can get to the action in the rest of Pattaya very quickly either up Second St or go to Beach St and catch the baht bus down to Walking St. All in all you're not to far from any amount of action you can handle from the Soi 13 area where the Dynasty Inn is located.

Had stayed here twice before, enjoy pool view, tile floors (hate carpet smell) and of course GF policy. Check in was rude - handled by mgr - some short dark skin lady, curly hair w/attitude. Did not have my confirmation, good thing had my copy (probably because not booked directly). Anytime had to come to front desk-this bit*h was not welcoming. was otherwise ok, room cleaned, towels changed daily.

I have been in Eastiny Residence for a week. Room rate was 1290 TBT, breakfast included. It is located in Soi 10 which is a silent road close to the action. A short 10 TBT hop to walking street. Pool on second floor is nice, especially because it isn't recommended to go into the water at the nearby beach. Absolutely girl friendly. Free internet access in the lobby. I would chosse it again.

i just got back from the LOS 7 during my stay i stayed at the queen vic on soi 6(smack dab in the middle of beer bar street),a very basic,suprisingly quiet in the rooms small hotel.
It isnt a hilton,but for 500-800BT its does the job especially 4 the monger on a budget,GF & great location.
I also stayed at the nicer(1000BT) Roof Garden Inn,awesome shower,alittle out of the way from south pattaya & Jomtien Beaches & walking street,but a 5-10 minute quick bus & u r good 2 go

I think my post was dropped somehow. Anyway, I am off to LOS and wondering what the wiz's think of the Residence Garden in Pattaya. Big reviews from other friends, but not sure of their knowledge. I am a Central America/Caribb guy and a little out of my element. Normally I like that, but being the very high season I thought I should get a little input.

Residence Garden is a very nice place and if you get a discount it's priced right. Only problem is it's not on the normal Bhat bus route late at night.

I stayed on soi 13 at the Dynesty inn a few weeks ago and feel soi 13 is a great place to stay. The Inn House Hotel seems to be the best deal going.

Soi 13 seems to be hotel central with many mid range hotels. They also have a few nice places to eat, the Haven has great breakfasts, Das Berliner Bistro has great German food and the Sportsmans Pub servers up great food all day long.

Soi 13 is a 5 minute walk to walking street, is quiet and clean. Try it, you'll like it.
