Took the hot myspace fashionista Filipina to Zinc Club for our second date in a month. New Dubai Code of Conduct
The article that you read is probably referring to the rules of conduct that was announced a few weeks ago. This is the local authorities reaction to the "sex on the beach" couple affair last year.
Anyways, I was pretty to read about in the Arabic press and not in the English press! I presume this is a decision to appease the local community then anything else.
So what are the new rules? From what are remember:
- no kissing in public
- no holding hands in public (for non-married couples)
- no revealing clothes in public areas
- no drinking alcohol in public areas
- no loud music during prayer times
- ....
So no real direct impact on mongering if you keep a low profile. At the end of the day, remember that we are still in the Middle East

An amazing mile of street-action in the Golden Triangle
Despite being shagged out yesterday, I let a pal talk me into a few games of pool at York last night. I had a few hours sleep in the evening and managed to get to York by 1:00am. Very crowded for a Friday night. The place was half-full of drunk football supporters all wearing the same orange shirts (must have been at least 60 of them). Once they all left en-masse about 1:30am, the crowd was bearable - usual mix of African and some PRC girls, and a few CIS.

The closing-time crowds of WGs and last-minute negotiators on the streets around 3:00am has recently become an amazing sight. The crowd stretches from past York Hotel, in front of York Hotel, then across the road in front of Regal Hotel, right down to Spinneys supermarket and a trickle down to Majestic hotel, as well as a crowd across the road from Majestic, in front of Panorama Hotel.
For those who don't know the locations - just picture a continuous triangular mile of mostly crowded sidewalk action.
I used to live just behind Regal Hotel, and a few years ago before the 'clean-up', there would be only a couple of dozen girls in the streets, and sometimes police would scoop them up into mini-buses for jail and deportation. After the clean-up, there were almost no girls on the street for about two years. Now there are probably about 200-300 girls lining the streets in small groups. I'm amazed. Also amazed that the police just sit in their cars watching while negotiations openly go on in front of the hotels and supermarkets.
After leaving York, I did a bit of grocery shopping in Spinneys around 3:15am - there were about 20 WGs inside the supermarket doing a bit of shopping (mainly Regal CIS girls), many of them giving 'the look', but I wanted to get home for a few hours sleep.
A sign of the times - the girls are more desperate for business, and the authorites are more desperate for the economic advantages of the trade?
