1) Do you know if "Mercure Moscow Paveletskaya" is girlfriendly? Is there any lobbygirls?

1. Mercure Paveletskaya is near the Paveletskaya rail station. This is good from a mongering perspective because you will get a lot of country girls coming in looking to make some money. Worst case, they will ask your guest to show and register her passport at the front desk. And more for your security than anything else. By the way, once a girl shows her passport at the front desk, the odds of her stealing anything from you are significantly reduced. As for knowledge of the Cyrillic alphabet and the Russian language, World Cup pretty much took care of that. I mean, when the ticket window at the metro station has "WE SPEAK ENGLISH" boldly written in red letters, you KNOW you don't need to know Cyrillic or Russian to get by.
