Jaco / Jaco Beach

Hi guys,

I'm staying in Manuel Antonio, but would like to make a short 1-day trip (no overnight stay) to Jaco. This Friday or Saturday. Since I won't be staying there overnight, it makes no sense to book a hotel room. I will be outdoors pretty much all the time anyways, I only need a room for 1-2 hours if I decide to bring a girl in.

Are there any short-term / hourly hotels in the area, not expensive?

Ideally, I would just hit a massage parlor and not worry about a room. There are plenty of MPs in San Jose, but I can't find any info regarding MPs in Jaco, are there any? Seems like girls are picked up at Cocal and taken out to hotel rooms.

It will be hard to find anything in Jaco this weekend due to Surfing contest.

How difficult is to get Viagra in Jaco? Or would you need to get a Dr to prescribe it?

I am making my first trip to Jaco in December. There are bunch of condos available on the VRBO website. Does anyone know if these places are chica friendly? Specifically the Monte Carlo units?

They charge a chica fee per guest, I believe $10.

I don't mind paying a guest fee, but I don't like the 10 to 5 deal, if I am paying $200. / night for a two bedroom condo!

The others I suspect are not because of family oriented themes. The other question concerning hotels, The Poseidon and Cadillac Rock are Chica friendly. Don't know any of the others.

Because all I read is how great the ladies are in Jaco. Appreciate any insight.

It is a easier in San Jose to find round the clock action. Depending on how much time you plan to spend in Costa Rica I would advise 4 days or less stay in San Jose. If you have 5 or more days you would enjoy seeing Jaco for a day or two. Jaco gets real old after about 3 days there. The best days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday in both Jaco and San Jose so try to get a good day or two in each if you go.

It's looking like I'll be in CR Sunday-weds, would love to go to Jaco and spend some time by the water. However, if it's totally dead those days I'd reconsider my plans.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Jaco is never totally dead. A slow night is still great. Splitting time between San Jose and Jaco requires travel time and time to adjust. I'd choose one or the other on a short trip and not try to squeeze in both.
