Can someone confirm Madam number is still active, my Spanish isn't 100% but I do get around and I think I can get across good. I have been in Cuenca 5 days and on vacation in Latin America for 2 weeks. I hope I can find something soon!

Got threw with my Spanish and she says she has a 20yo for me. She does a 2 call system and asks me what I want, I tell her "dos leches" an hour later 2 chicas show up at the front desk and not my room. I then have to discuss with staff they are prima of family friend. She is 24, friend is 26, I tell them I only need one and price is 70 per hour. The one I kept well she was horrible, only one leche. WTF, she couldn't chupar para nada, also acted like my Spanish no entiendo. I been getting around for over 2 weeks. I have 10 years working with Hispanics I can get around. Once I get back to my hotel, this FANTASTIC CITY does not offer anything. It is even difficult to find a restaurant open after 10pm till midnight! :mad: The only restaurant open 24h is La Canoa, and after a while it is boring to go there.

Only at weekends, bars and fun places are open till 2am. On weekdays, all places close at 12pm. Guess what? This last weekend.... LEY SECA!! :(
All places closed because apparently this crazy country is not able to have elections if bars are open and beers are on sale. I never saw anything like this in any country of Europe or Asia. I don't know if this is common in Latin America. People here finds it obvious and natural: "yes, claro, there are elections, alcohol is forbidden for 3 days, why are you surprised?". They don't understand that this is the only country I have ever seen in my life where I cannot have a beer at dinner because two days later there are elections. :mad: That is simply CRAZY.

As a result, in one week here I did not visit ANY place. I don't know if Salomé is still there, if there is El Gato, etc. I don't know how La 18 became like. All these nights, I simply walked along 9 Octubre after midnight, more to relax than to find girls. There are some SWs, but all them are ugly, or rushy and apparently not willing to pamper the customer. I asked some price, and they all told me 20USD for a regular fuck (CBJ).

But yesterday, EXCEPTION. :D

Peru also has the same dry law during elections though I do not think it lasts for three days but only for the voting day. I believe other SA countries also have this ridiculous law. I think in the past it was possible to bribe inenebriated non-voters to vote for a candidate in exchange for alcohol.

I wonder if during Ley Seca it is still legal to smoke cripa, but not drink a cerveza with the cebiche.
