Any chance that all this means I could get sex right on the premises?
There's a grubby, low budget red light district right near the airport filled with East Javanese hookers, forget the name. Might be a bit basic and rough, I think they're aiming at the local workers' market. Something costing 900k and labelled "Gentlemans Service" definitely sounds promising, doesn't it? I'm just surprised that they put it explicitly on the menu like that. Let us know how it goes.
PS Whoops! I thought you were talking about Jayapura. Other members may know more about the situation near the airport in Jakarta. A few years ago, someone said that the hotel actually based in the airport has a full-service, on site knocking shop. Only in Jakarta!

Lunch
Does anyone have favorite central Jakarta lunchtime venues where you can also get a meal in addition to dessert?
4 posts since 07? And now you are hungry?
What generated the interest is I recently completed the two books entitled Jakarta After Hours or something. The books are dated, but they discussed more meal options, e. G. Sushi, than I have seen on this forum over that past two years. Many of the MP's open before lunch and there are restro's near by and also many of the hotels (classic, alexis etc.) have on site restuarants. However, it seems like there may be more options out there and I wanted to hear the senior members opinions. Were those books discussed extensively when they first came out? It sounds like some things have changed and maybe not for the better. What is your view on them?

Hotel Classic
Went to Hotel Classic for the first time due to many positive reviews. Stepped in at level 5 and asked mamasan to recommend a girl.
Since I didn't know any of them.
The girl choosen was pretty but didn't say a word. We went to the room were she was showing no interest at all to shower together.
Do a BJ or do anything to arouse me. She was obviously straight from the kampung and it took her 10 minutes to figure out what was outside and inside.
Of the condom. I asked her for a BJ, but she refused why I went out and cancelled the whole thing.
I experienced the same thing last year in HT. The people there were very friendly and asked if I wanted to change the girl or if I wanted the money back.
I though Classic had a similar policy, but not. They forced an unattractive girl on me as a replacement and angrily refused any kind of refund of the money.
I wasn't interested in that girl and all the other girls the mamasan had were all newbies just like the first catastrophe.
I told them that HT would have helped me to get a refund if the girl was too inexperienced to do a satisfying job, the guards were polite, but the old.
Chinese mamasan (with her hoarse whisky voice) was starting to be aggressive. The money is small and not important. The important thing is for the
Establishment to show that they care for their customers.
I left the place before things went sour. But will never return.
A warning to all members. This place don't care * about you if they send you a inexperienced girl.
I have been to classic two times: The first and the last! Tomorrow HT.
I experienced the same thing last year in HT. The people there were very friendly and asked if I wanted to change the girl or if I wanted the money back.
Yeah, well. Hotel Travel does have young, inexperienced girls. I've more or less given up, last time I went, admittedly on a busy Saturday night, two of the girls said no, they didn't want to serve a Bule, and the third said she'd only do it as part of a double act. I lost interest and went home after a beer. I bet you they wouldn't have been so fussy on a Tuesday afternoon. I much prefer joints where you can chat and mingle with the girls, I hate the whole fish bowl concept. The best you can try to do is to tell the Mamasan to step back and give you some space, then look at the girls, try to make eye contact. Some of them will smile or wink or blow a kiss, then you know they are going to be ok. I've given up trusting Mamasan's recommendations, maybe if you're a regular, favored customer it works, but usually they have their own motivations for recommending someone, and your personal satisfaction seems to be quite low on their list of priorities.

Travel & berlian
A short stop over in Jakarta wsas used to visit Travel & Berlian.
At hotel Travel, on Sunday evening, followed my standard recipe. Choose one girl, let her choose another one. It is not that I am too fond of threesomes but I cannot resist bargains & I find that two girls are usually more at ease with a bule. Worked fine this time. The chubby onbe was good during sex and the other one talkative. The fact that me no bahasa and they no english did not really hinder the conversation. Value for money.
Next afternoon Berlian. Chose the friendliest smiling girl. Good choice, was friendly during the whole process.
her pussy smelled of SOMETHING reminiscent of a bad quality condom. I think I.
I know the smell you are talking about, I too, always thought it was a condom odor but finally figured it out. The girl has thrush. Take her to the pharmacy and buy her a course of Canestan oral. The thrush will clear up in a week and you can go back to a nice fresh sweet smelling pussy.

Jatinegara
Just came back from a trip to jakarta.
Stayed at a friend's house near jatinegara station.
Very busy area during the day, traffic jams all along.
At night, the place quiets down, but some interesting things happening there, just strolling along the main road, away from the station, noticed several big holes in the wall along the tracks. And behold, lots of hookers there! Doing there business in little makeshift shacks, or even in the open!
Great for kicks. And the sight of a white tourist like myself was surely not a usual thing there, I got a lot of 'hello mister'.
Back at the house, I asked my local friend about that scene. He told me the going rates there are 50. 000 rp for a fuck in one of the huts, or 20. 000 to 30. 000 for a blow-job! No doubt very local scene with very local prices. But for the thrill-seekers among you, how's that for kicks?

The area is a pretty notorious lady boy zone, although there are real girls there, too. They tend to hang out in slightly different areas.

Jakarta Ramadhan
Yearly issue but from what I heard most bars and clubs are closed during the fasting month, the owner of some of the venues I go said they are open. Most hotels and plaza will function normally however bars restaurants in Kemang will be closed as the Bangka area is close to there for the first three days of Ramadhan. In Central Jakarta
BATS is open being a (steak restaurant) as same as Face Bar (opposite Mandarin Oriental) although they tone down alcohol display and music. Other stand alone venues I'm not sure about.
