My bits of fun in PP
A few random thoughts and experiences in PP last month.
My thanks guys, to all the info I've gleaned from your posts in the last few years.
I had 10 days there tagged on the end of 8 weeks in Pattaya. In short, I liked it, next year I might share my time 50/50 between Pattaya and PP.
Cheap beers, good willing girls, prices ok, fun sightseeing, hotels reasonable, I like a swimming pool for daytime relaxing.
A few girl experiences.
I like mine a bit older 25-30 even up to about 40. At my vintage it's not enough that they've got tits, mouth ass and pussy, for me they need some experience in how to use them.
Took a 35 yo from VVIP bar on 136st, agreed to $50 LT + $10 BF, even though I let her go after about 3 hours but very happy. Two nights later a mate and I went in about 1 am, we were the only customers so we took over the music, playing a few fun oldies, singing along and dancing around, buying a few lady drinks for some of them incl the 35 yo. Next thing she sneakily grabbed my hand and slipped it down the front of her jeans shorts. She was dripping wet. I gave her the WOW surprised look and she said, 'I so happy to see you again, you and your friend having a good time make me horny' Needless to say she beat out the younger competition and made the sale, another fun night with her.
Also on 136 is Helicopter Bar. I took another 30 something from there and had a fun night, even took her phone number. Couple of nights later I'm in my hotel (near 136) too lazy to go out and rang her to come over. On the phone she said "Sure but I have period, tonight you have to fuck my mouth, fuck my ass" her words. You can tell from my username I'm happy to oblige when a girl wants to give me access to all her assets, so another good night had.
This PP is a fun town.
I also took her for a couple of nights to Kep and Kampot.
But a warning:
A couple of the nights I drank in her bar there was a young girl sitting with us. I was told she is 19 yo, learning English, not go with customers. On the 2nd night I said I'm not comfortable she looks too young and sent her away. In Kampot she showed me photos, told me the girl was her daughter and was 15 yo. Just trying to get a few tips from customers to pay for her English school.
So that was the end of that relationship, I sent mama back to PP alone and never went in Helicopter bar again.
In saying that I do believe the money for school story and she wasn't going with customers, but I just didn't want to be around it.
I was paying mama $40 + BF per night.
Pontoon is a fun disco with plenty of FLs every night. One stunner showed me a pic of a lipstick that she wanted to buy, on her phone. Told me it cost $80, I didn; t buy it for her.
Shanghai is a civilised bar for a drink and a bite and they have takeout waitresses, nice.
Had a few other good experiences too, (maybe I'll get around to posting them, but I'm a 2 finger typist) and one not so good (very bad case of mummy tummy) and laziness.
That's probably enough detail for this post.

Thoughts on the City
After spending the day walking around I want to share some observations.
The city is finally modernizing. When I was here 3 years ago, KFC was probably the only Franchise. You now see a wide range of business. Many of which cater to foreigners.
Sorya Mall has a grocery store. Like a real grocery store, with brands and items from the western world. Prices are labeled and fixed now. No more haggling for every item you want to buy. This is a sign that things are getting better.
There has been significant improvement in Sorya mall. There is an actual food court. They are using a cash card system. Which is annoying, but I understand why many malls do this. The food selection was actually pretty good and facilities appeared clean and modern.
There is an internet shop near Cycree. I happened to stumble across it while walking from the mall to Cycree. Never thought I'd see the day. This isn't like a cafe that has free wi fi. It was dedicated to computer gaming. I peaked in and it was mostly locals, so I am assuming it caters to the higher class. I don't think many locals can afford to sit in front of a computer and play games all day.
Now if they can just do something about air quality, PP might not be half bad.
...Sock, let us know if you find any Vietnamese or any great places this week.
I met a lovely Viet girl in Darlin Darlin last year. I had her over at my hotel a couple of nights during my stay. Expensive but well worth to me. Macau is another place where I go with Vietnamese chicks only. They also have plenty of them in Jakarta, at Alexis.
Next month, I plan to finally visit Ho Chi Minh City, and hoping to indulge in my one of my favorite delicacies.

Viets
Golden vine has them on st 108.
Golden vine has them on st 108.
Street 136 too. Walk two blocks away from riverside and you will find a few Viet KTV's. Nothing else than any other bar but FS options on site.

You can also get Visa on arrival. 30 dollar + 3 dollar if you don't bring picture. You get it from a special counter in the arrival area. You can not make mistake.
How much longer is the immigration procedure if I do not bring a passport photo?

Procedure for Voa
How much longer is the immigration procedure if I do not bring a passport photo?
Now a days pp airport is quite big. Secondly it depends what time is your flight. For me I landed around 4 and it took me just 10 minutes. It's not like Bangkok where you have to wait. You go to Voa counter, there are three windows, you give passport at first window and walk to thirds where you pay 30 usd and you have a visa.
It should take 15 minutes at most.
How much longer is the immigration procedure if I do not bring a passport photo?
It is not longer. You just pay extra 2 or 3 dollar.

It's not the best in town but it's not bad and the location is convenient.
Most of the new development these days is a little further out, like Aeon Mall, so anybody hanging out in the main tourist area between the Central Market and the river doesn't see much of it. (Well, except for all those big buildings going up on the skyline.) But no question, the town is growing and changing and going upmarket quicker than ever seemed possible.
As for the fellow who said Shanghai has takeout hostesses -- most will not go with customers, and those who do generally require not only a barfine but first a big bar bill. And then may try to screw you for even more money. That bar was an old favorite of mine but under the current owner and his policy I've quit going. And I'm not the only one.

And I'm not the only one.
Last year had a friendly barmaid in Shanghai. I didn't drink too much there but she appeared to indicate she enjoyed my company and so we arranged to meet after work. I was staying nearby but she wouldn't go to my hotel as someone she knew worked there. I always take those stories with a pinch of sodium chloride.
We then hired a tuk tuk and rode around a few places seeking a short time place. Suprisingly there arent that many but on the 4th place (some upstairs joint with chinese signage we found one.). Had a bonk and a HJ as I recall. She seemed to be ok with whatever I gave to help her, but really can't recall, wasnt too much and both went on our ways. .
I also recall one visit to Shanghai bar where there was a big black dude who I was told was from a US Embassy in Vietnam or Thailand. Seems he was a regular in Shanghai and had about 5 or 6 girls all fluttering around him.
But the worst memory of the place was sitting quietly by bar, drinking a beer, enjoying their internet when 4 Cambodian guys walked in, and the bar staff asked me to move so these guys could all sit at the bar. My beer was moved to somewhere with no table or chair. So I paid and left. Probably last time I was there. Apparently they were from " the government ".
It is not longer. You just pay extra 2 or 3 dollar.
$2 USD for the photo. When I handed him a $100 USD bill, he said 100 baht.
Taxi $12 USD.
Question. Is tuktuk $1 per person or $1 for 2 people? Is motorbike the same price?
Question. Is tuktuk $1 per person or $1 for 2 people? Is motorbike the same price?
The coupon price for the tuk tuk to the riverside at the airport is $9. You can go outside the airport and get it for $5. The first person in line might not accept, but it will be accepted (if there is more than 1 tuk tuk in the queue).
The price for the tuk tuks are always per ride, not per person.
The local price should still be $1.25 for a normal ride.
The tuk tuk drivers will want $2 or $3 from the tourist. Actually, they want to score with a $5 ride.
Examples: From Street 136, they will accept $1.50 to go to LE Crycee or Pontoon. They will accept $2 (with complaint) to go to Naga.
I don't do motobikes. Motobikes are cheaper than tuk tuks. There should still be a night surcharge on the motobikes. They probably will ask for extra if there is more than 1 passenger. There is no night surcharge for the tuk tuks.

I surprisingly like it a lot in PP. I extended here another 5 days. Similar to Pattaya on a MUCH smaller scale. I will write something more detailed when I get a better grasp of the scene. Everything except Naga / Darling Darling is within walking distance. Oddly I find many of the bars mentioned often on boards the ones I do not prefer. Rose bar on 104 was not good at all. I met a friendly girl inside though. Angry Bird, Honeypot, or Loco on 130 disappointing. I will try them again now that I am staying longer. I prefer the girls at Sweet Lemon on 136. Some of the lesser known bars I can't recall the names to. I just see what I like and go in like I did at Playboy (forgot which street) and Top Ten on 104. Cyrcee was great one night with 3 very hot ones and terrible the next night so I can see the mixed reviews. it's all about timing. Darling Darling was ok but for the 150 price tag vs. 50-100 LT for a 136 or Cyrcee girl I'll take the bar girl. DD girls were not any better than the top bar girls. I also got the dreaded head turn from some of them. that's not happening in a bar. Bars are fun. Walk in, greeted by DFK. I usually choose 2-4 girls I like and buy a round of drinks. Then cut them. Then decide to do ST or go to next bar.
Tuktuk drivers are a pain in the ass. I'm walking a block from 136 and they ask if I need a tuktuk. Where do they think I'm going? Also it's $2 for a ride so I pay them with my spare Riel just to get rid of it. I paid $3 from 104 to Naga which is fair it's a far enough distance.
Question 1 - What are my best daytime options? Preference girls under 25, slim, busty, very cute / pretty face. I am staying near 136.
question 2 - where can I get the best steak here?

You could be bouncing around in that thing for over an hour. Only for the cheapest of Cheap Charlies.
I spent some time bar hopping and want to point out some things.
There are alot more lady boys. For the well trained eye, they don't hold up against ladyboys in thailand, so veterans should be able to spot them easily.
Many bars seem to have 1 or 2 lady boys mixed in with the girls. This is not my preference because the ones in PP are on the aggressive side and I'd rather not have one stroking my arm or face in the line up with real girls. I prefer how it is in thailand, where ladyboys have their own bar. Its not 100% true, but mostly.
Candy Bar is a ladyboy bar. A few real ladies mixed in, but avoid it if you don't like ladyboys.
Candy Bar, Butterfly bar and 69 bar are owned by the same guy. The girls travel between those bars freely, including the lady boys.
Still didn't find any viet girls. I'm not sure where to look, so I'll probably start asking the next night I'm out..
No wonder everything is going to hell when people pay 50 usd for a night in Cambodia!
It used to be 20 usd (or even 10-15) for ST. 20-25 for LT.
Now, thanks to the them, it's double.
