Bringing electronics to Brazil for GDPs!
I swear, these girls must think we Americans are idiots! I had a GDP beg me to bring her a laptop because the one she had died. I told her "No problem! Send me 500 bucks and I will pick out a good one for you and carry it to brasil with me in July! I will even bring you the receipt so you will know I am not trying to make any money off of you!" This b*tch had the nerve to get upset and say "I can't believe you do not trust me! I will give you the money once you get here!"
I explained to her that I know at least 8 Americans who had brought things to Rio for the Brasilians to then claim that they didn't have the money or that they wanted a discount. Now mind you, this girl just came back from 3 months in Europe, so I am sure she made a boat load of euros while she was there and here she was complaining about sending me a lousy 500 dollars!
I explained to her that "You need to understand one thing, I am doing your ass a favor! I'm not getting anything out of this! I am helping you save alot of money because that laptop would cost you alot more money in Brasil! So either send me the money first, or call some other bobo to bring it down for you!" She proceeded to curse me out and say she didn't want my help! Man, these girls are so unappreciative!
May 2011 trip to Rio de Janeiro
May 2011 trip to Rio de Janeiro.
This is my first time posting on the board. I had not been to Rio in many years – around 15 years. I used to go with friends. Two weeks ago I went by myself. It was a 20 hour flight from San Francisco to Rio but I slept most of the time. I stayed at the Oceano Copacabana hotel.

It was expensive but in a great location and the staff was friendly.
The first thing I noticed is Rio is much cleaner and has a safer feel about it, especially around Copa Cabana. I think the government is trying to prepare the city for the Olympics. The Favelas are still there but some locals told me that the government is working to try to make them better places to live with education programs, gyms, etc.
Day 1.
I pulled out my paper notes and maps from years ago and headed out to the termas. All three termas I used to visit were closed. Disappointed, I went back to my room. I called for an escort. The girl came late and tried to change the price before we even started so I paid for her cab and sent her on her way. Frustrated, I went out and had a couple of beers at the café around the corner.
Day 2.
Eager to get some action, I woke up early the next day and went to an internet café that I found advertised on a flyer. The internet café is on the 9th floor of a building. I did some searching around on the internet and came up with some terma names.
To pass the afternoon I decided to try my old dependable place – Vila mimosa. For those of you who don't know what Vila Mimosa is, it is a red light district. Around 1000 girls work there every day. When people on the board say VM they mean Vila Mimosa. The location of VM is next to a huge Favela.
Here is a map of the location:

Immediately I noticed Vila mimosa has changed as well. Just like in the past, there were loads of girls. And just like in the past, VM has never been an upscale place. Even so, it is much more run down than it used to be. Also the girls look a little rougher than they did in times past. I saw more tattoos and I think the girls are bigger. They look more like gangster girls from MTV videos. I spoke with several girls and even though all were friendly, I did not find any I liked.
In the evening I went to Barbarela.

F-ing expensive. Every price I was quoted was around 200 to 300 US to go back to the hotel for a short session. The quality was not impressive.
I had Monte Carlo on the list.

But I decided to abandon it and re-think my strategy after such a string of failures.
Day 3.
The next morning I went to the internet café again. At the cafe I searched "Rio de janeiro termas" on Google.
This came up at the top of the list:

Apparently this company did Terma Tours. I tried to call the number on the website but no answer. I emailed and heard back right away. I booked the Terma tour through email and received an email for the starting location of the tour. I went to the starting location at 9:00 PM. Then the tour guide, code named "Bernie," showed up. As it turns out three other guys that were hanging around the meeting spot were also there for the tour.
We taxied to the first place called Max's. There was a nice selection of around 20 girls and the place was clean. The price was fair. I took a girl to the room and had a good experience. I am not demanding so a good blowjob and passionate pussy sex was enough for me. Next we taxied to another place around ten minutes away. Once again a nice selection of girls and a clean layout. I didn't do anything (too tired) but enjoyed looking. We did one more stop at a place called Leticia massagem. Fifteen girls and all mostly hot. Again, price was good. I did one more session and called it a night.
Day 4.
I went back to Leticia massagem the next night.
The rest of my time was devoted to business.
Food.
One thing that has not changed in Rio is the delicious food. Here are a few places where I ate like a king:

Conclusion: Rio is huge and is changing. Vila mimosa is cheap but rough. The higher-end big named termas are too expensive. I didn't know about internationalsexguide. Info before I went.
Do your research first or get a guide or do both. Try to find the smaller establishments in between the name brand tourist traps and the dives. The middle establishments might not have the quantity, but many times they have better quality at a fair price.
