Pattaya Reports

Good luck on your first trip to Pattaya. If I were you I would stay in the new Hilton on top of a new 7 story world class mall. You will have access to 100's of restaurants in the mall and a ton of other things to enjoy.

If you stay at the Marriott or Hilton you will have access to Baht Buses which run one way towards Walking Street on Beach Road and one way back towards your hotel on 2nd road which is only a short walk from Beach Road. You will have no trouble getting around and it is very safe. It is not too complicated getting on or off the bus. Just stick your hand out and they will stop and then ring the bell when you want to get off all for 10 Baht each trip.

Hiring a girl you do not know to show you around is a real BAD idea. Once you get here you will understand much better. From either hotel it is only 5 minutes to Walking Street where your life will change forever. You are not going to believe what you are going to see. There are 1'000's of beer bars. 100's of Go-Go and 10, 000's of Freelancers walking by.

I love it when guys write on here they want a 10 the second the come into to town and do not want to look around for them. Sorry to tell you it does NOT work that way. Part of the fun of being in Pattaya is going from bar to bar looking for a girl that you are attracted to.

You can increase your odds by hitting Happy a Go-Go, Super-Girls or my new favorite the Airport. That being said the hottest girl in town can be at the dumpiest bar. You just never know, you have to look around.

If you only stand on Walking Street itself between 10 PM and 12 Pm you will have 1'000's of stunning freelancers walking to the discos on Walking Street and many of them are just as good as any girl you will find at any bar.

My most important piece of advice I can give you is to choose a girl that LIKES you and not the most attractive one you see. Never but ever just bar fine a girl without talking to her first.

If you see a girl at a bar you like ask her over for a drink. She will then send you signals if she wants to go with you or not. If she is all over you laughing, joking, grabbing you everywhere and asking you to bar fine her then she likes you and it is time to get out of there. If she does not like you, who cares there are 1, 000's of others that will and it is time to find another bar. Try to look for the hot girls that dance great, they are usually great in the sack.

If you are only going to be here a few days there are 2 other spots you must hit which are the Soppies by the Big C mall and Soi 6. They are both open in the afternoon and they are where you should go then and Walking Street at night. To get to them just hop on a Baht Bus on 2nd road and look for the signs you cannot miss them.

Good luck, if you handle this correct you will have the time of your life and be dying to get back the second you have to go to the airport.

But sometimes they want joiner fee (I'm unsure the price). But if you're spending $100+ then maybe the extra $10-15 wouldn't bother you.

This will be my second time in LOS. My first time was a couple of years ago for one night in Bangkok and I had the service of one of the girls from 'Bangkok Gold escorts'; she was an easy 9 somewhat expensive but was fun. I did not have any time to check anything else not even a soapy massage.

I am convinced and will go to Bangkok instead.

What are the good hotels near the action in Bangkok?

don't take me senior by the number of posts.
Still I have a bit (but not extensive) experience of Thailand and as I said none on Pattaya.
So take this with caution!

What I meant on BKK is that it offers a wide variety of each and anything, maybe more spreaded than Pattaya, very true. But gives the chance to see a bit more the normal life thai environment (albeit still pushed by the scene when you go to areas as Nana, etc.

There is a JW Marriott right in Nana, but others hotels nearby are of not far quality.

Lots of guys go to Livingston Lodge in Soi 33 (see separate forum for that) .10 min taxi from Nana, with its own surrounding.

It includes its own Sports bar with ladies.

But as a newbie on that, as others suggested, go out and explore, for the simple reason you will have the chance to see around how the mongering scene works out.

If you stick to LL only, with all respect and with no offence it is like spending 2 days in a brothel (and LL is not one, and not meant to be one: just trying to explain how you will limit yourself to experience BKK.

LL facilities, pool, looong breakfast, the local girls etc risk to hold you in! With no will to go out! LOL.

Look at the Soap massage forums (here there are 3: on Tulip, on Annie's, on all but the previous too.

A soap massage delivers a lot and FS is a no brainer. One might discuss how the FS is given. Not if given. . Multipops are often in the menu, and the girl will entartain you for appro 90 minutes (depends on the venue)

You will be 'soaped' in a tub, body massage, BBBJ, etc etc. No need to go in details as the action takes place both in the tub, and / or on the wet mat and on the bed, all in the same room.

Walk around from LL to Soi 4 (Nana) and themore you approach Nana you will see, from late afternoon how easy is to pick up a WG without she being too obvious.

And also look at the local and legitimate beauties.

My problem in the odd hours between 5 and 8pm or so is, for fun, to detect who is going home from (office) work and who is coming from home to go adn work at bars etc. .

Sometime it is a hard task.

bangkok has many very good hotels. it is a buyers' market. i strongly recommend the grand millennium.

the hotel is located right around the corner from soi cowboy and the skytrain & mtr rapid transit. there are plenty of taxis available 24/7. it is a modern, new, very nice 4. 5* hotel. better than the marriott, which is fine, but the location of the marriott is really good only for nana and nightclubs. i think the grand millennium overall is far better especially if you plan to go to the high end soapies. but, be sure to check out soi cowboy when you are there as well. coyboy is a miniature walking street, pattaya. baccara is a great go go. tilac and shark are worth a look see too.

the high end soapies are definately full service, sir. we don't recommend a venue this highly if it was not world class quality. you will never forget the experience. in my previous post, i made some good suggestions for you. in addition, check out these two links:

I am convinced and will go to Bangkok instead. [/QUOTE]On a 3 day vacation for the purpose of mongering and selecting Bangkok over Pattaya is a real BAD move. I have lived in Thailand now for 8 years, the 1st one in Bangkok and the last 7 in Pattaya.

If you took all the best spots in Bangkok and put them all together including Nana Plazza, Soi Cowboy, Patpong and every other major complex you would not even have 1/50 of what Walking Street offers, much less the rest of what Pattaya has.

There is NO place in Thailand or anywhere else in the world that even comes close to offering the quantity, variety and quality that Walking Street does and that is coming from somebody that frequented virtually every bar and complex in Bangkok as well as Pattaya.

As for any one bar having the best looking women, who are you guys kidding? These girls come and go so quickly it is crazy. You can go into one bar and they will have the best looking girls you have ever seen and then go back 2 weeks later and you will wonder if you even walked into the same place because all the girls you liked will be gone.

As for looking at stunning girls with very little chance of getting them, then hanging out at a busy BTS station on a work day in the morning or afternoon when they are going home is unreal.

However, if you are 20 to 35, can speak Thai, and have a great deal of money, and you spend a week chasing girls on the BTS you will have more beautiful girl friends than you know what to do with. I am 53 now and when I got here I was 45 and I got lucky a few times on the BTS, but it is not easy.

As for the girls on Bangkok Escorts, there is nothing special there. Every Go-Go bar on walking street has 10 of them; some have 30, 40 or 50. There are also a ton of university students and secretaries that come down from Bangkok on their days off to try their luck as freelancers at the discos on Walking Street.

All of that being said you should have a fantastic time in Bangkok and I love the city. But is not even close to Pattaya as far as ladies go unless you want to find a nice girl to have as a girlfriend or to get married to.

You get to choose from dozens and dozens of girls who stand outside the bars, allowing plenty of opportunity to find one you like without buying drinks or getting pressure from mamasans. Once you make your choice, in exchange for a 50 baht cola you can sit with the girl and gauge her mood and your chemistry. If you're interested you can go upstairs for a shower and a short time session in a modest (but clean) room. You'll pay 700 to the girl and 300 to the bar. All in, that's about USD $35.

But if you search previous reports from guys who have tried this, you'll see this is a bad idea. You will pay a hefty fee for a woman who might not be very good looking and who will spend most of the ride just sitting there even after you pay a very large fee. I recommend arranging for a car from the VR Taxi Service in Pattaya:

The proprietor is good about returning e-mail and his drivers are very reliable. I paid 1,100 for a ride from Bangkok to Pattaya and vice versa, plus a tip of 100 baht.

After you check into your hotel (search the forum for plenty of reports on the Marriott) walk to Beach Road and catch one the numerous baht buses to Walking Street. Try to arrive by 2000-2100. Fare is 10 baht. Walk down the street looking on the left for the signs for Soi Diamond. Turn left and walk about 25 meters. You'll come a little roundabout. There you will find Super Baby, Super Girls and Heaven Above go-gos. Even guys who are picky about looks report they can find a girl they fancy in one of those places.

Pick the girl of your dreams and go back to your hotel. Long time, short time, up to you. Pricing varies with market conditions, but figure 1,500 to 2,500 for short time, plus the bar fine of 600 and whatever you spend on lady drinks at about 150 each. Add 500 for long time.

Lather, rinse and repeat.

The guy is staying 3 days / night.

BKK offers a decent variety, maybe not as concentrated as Pattaya.

But we still talk about 3 days. Ending up in Pattaya where you get all and more in a small area, might risk (this is an opinion.) to confuse the guy.

My strategy in BKK would be: day #1 for plan A, day #2 for plan B, day #3 for plan C.

Whatever you want to include in A or B or C.

A can be lurking at Nana to get the bearing + a soapie nearby + a free lancer.

B can be testing one or two MP's or so.

C can be Soi Cowboy etc.

Whatever prefernce, whatever sequence.

I mean a day is indeed made of 24hrs (incl sleeping) : if one can spend 12 hrs in mongering. He is a hero! LOL.

Give time to each and everything

Do not get brain drunk by tons of (different) possibilities everytime the eyes move by a few degrees as ALL is in there. One can end up with too much offer he can't decide.

BKK. Even if it is not so ruled. Offers the opportunity of a few areas with specifics themes and to be approached one at a time.
