Happened to a couple of victims already is a scam running in Gzira by a prostitute that goes by the name of Sera. A very slim young prostitute. Scam mechanism:

1. Customer will pick her up next to Quantum Place in Gzira.

2. She will take you to the marina. Even though you suggest a different place.

3. She asks you to undress and ask you for money.

4. She buys some time (couple of minutes) to find a condom.

5. A Stranger will open the door pretending to be a policeman of the Vice Squad plainclothes.

6. The stranger (pimp) pretends to call the sergeant.

7. The customer asks for his identification which he will not reveal (some BS excuse).

8. The working girl (Sera) starts panicking and encourages the customer to bribe the fake policeman.

9. The customer. Give a bribe or wait for the imaginary sergeant.

10. Two victims I know paid a hefty bribe.

Eloquently and patiently I told him I will wait for the sergeant inside the vehicle. I also told him I am going to call my lawyer friend and did a real phone call on speaker phone. When he listened to our conversation exchanged, he panicked and ran away, along with Sera.
