Much appreciated, WindAngel!
You are right, there are lone wolves. Some with the language skill can do it after their contract term and I know a few but it is a dangerous profession without protection.
As always, thank you very much for this and your valuable information over the years. Many prayers for those infected and who have died. Hopefully, the influx of vaccines will stabilize the country and the island will be back to full-swing and happy. Amen.
Don't jump the gun -- although tempted
It looks like things might be relaxed on the 12th of July, but yeah, not sure if going to a massage parlour would be great on the first day back. If there is another outbreak like what happened in Wanhau the last thing you want is your info plastered all over PTT and the news sites.
That said, I wonder how all the massage girls are surviving. Just no pay, or do you think they are offering their services on the side?
Yeah, its not like you get up early morning on July 12th and it is "ready, set, go, off to the races," although I have been waiting for this day like a 5 year old waiting for Christmas morning and not being able to sleep all night.
Maybe give it until July 19th, a week later and then peek my head up, mosey around the various "red lights" and see what the aftermath has left. Like, anything else, when this type of catastrophe occurs, it could lead to a new order in the way business is done. I am sure that some will have left the business and will not return. That would be the ones in the older tea houses. The young foreign girls working for management, should be eager to start paying their bills. Law Enforcement will probably institute a higher standard. I envision masks being worn during playtime, and even during the short alley courtship and prowl. With the older ladies, that might work to their advantage. (LOL).
But, after the July 12th release, I will probably get me feet wet in a less high profile area, more like a semi-legitimate massage place in a local neighborhood.
Once the island secures another ten million vaccines, the gloom will lift. The vaccines are trickling in a bit slow, although, who knows? Can you really trust the news in any country? ANSWER: and-O.
