I do agree that places like Thailand are safer and built to extract foreigner money with speed and simplicity, but that doesn't mean that having personal responsibility and taking care of yourself is a bridge too far to get some pussy. I am being very anecdotal but it seems that in my decade+ of mongering (maybe I need more experience), bad things have only happened to my friends / fellow mongers I've met who were doing stupid stuff. Whether it was trying to steal at a night market in Bangkok or getting drunk and then high on Tusi and staying out all night until 4 am, it has always felt like there was a very clear reason for why "bad" things happened to them. That said, I am a very wary guy who would rather go home alone than try to do something that feels off to me, so maybe that has also helped.

Massages; I visited Esperanza, Dan Spa, Happy Massage, Tantra Donde Mi Rey and Bendito. Esperanza was worth the visit to just see Andrea. Service was good but a total knockout. Dan Spa, as expected, was a letdown. Good massage, poor HJ. Don't recall the girls name. Happy Massage is always enjoyable. While you'll typically only receive a HJ, it is definitely very sensual. Donde Mi Rey was a big surprise, in a positive way. Called and didn't need an appointment. I cannot remember the girls' names but opted for a threesome. The bad part was that everything was covered. My buddy and I had a great time over four days in El Poblado. We had an AirBnB 2-bedroom apartment with nice living area open to a private terrace with jacuzzi. We'd arrange Facebook girls in the early afternoon then later pick up girls from Parque Lleras at night -- two sessions with dinner and a nap in between. Having spent much of the last five years here, I've found the ladies hanging out around Parque Lleras (as in the casas and strip clubs) to encompass the full spectrum of Chicadom. In terms of looks: The occasional gem, most always several in the quite attractive to doable arrange, and the rest in the you "you couldn't pay me to...... " category. In terms of personality and service: some genuinely engaging and provide great full GFE value for the money; others mechanical clock watchers; the others somewhere in-between. Afro-Colombians, mestizas, blancas (Europeos) in all of the above categories. Over time, one gets pretty good at screening for those that promise to be good company and to provide genuine GFE service.

Some of the El Centro Rats on this thread claim that there's no difference in the quality of chicas to be found loitering about Parque Lleras (or in Gustos for that matter) and those in Plaza Botero and vicinity--and insist that there's, in fact, a large number of chicas working both locations, but charging 4 times the price in Lleras. In their view the only difference between the hotter lookin Llleras chicks and the plainer looking Botero broads is a lot of make-up and pricier / sexier outfits. Although I've never recognized chicas from El Centro in Parque Llleras, I don't doubt that there may well be a fair amount of overlap in the girls working both locations. One time I was with a rather conspicuous gringo and we saw that someone was following us, and we took some evasive action to shake him off. But other than that I enjoy the walk. Being followed is what I was getting at with my advice to avoid the park. If the gamines notice a foreigner, in the park especially one who appears to be unfamiliar with is surroundings, I would not be surprised if a few of them decided it would be worth a try to follow him and try to take advantage. Above all, sparsely populated streets are to be avoided at all costs.
