For the counter-argument, you're more likely to encounter scams in Bucharest but they're pretty easily avoidable. And the electricity is more likely to break down.

So I would choose Bucharest. On weekdays though, probably Prague which is a beautiful place.

I would say that in bucharest it is much more possiable to find cheeper escorts. the biggest problem is that in prague it is much more organised. In bucharest all of the organised ads and such seem to cost as much or more than escorts in prague. If you are adventurous and or like the hunt then you can maybe find girls for very little money in romania but it seems that the service is not as clear or as open as in prague. In prague the average privet escort seems to go for around 220 euros or 8000 krn if i remember correctly. Some will charage more for BBBj or CIM type service some include this. Of course you can find services for 1000 euros a night too. I have seen these in bucharest too. Best thing in bucharest is that if you click with the girl you might get a less professional time and a free guide to see what little there is to see.

Prag is a city to visit and enjoy for cultural reasons, basically. For sex, you've got to have financial means.

Bucharest is a city to enjoy for all the girls in the street. For sex, you don't have to be rich to really enjoy yourself, and indulge. And, as reddog aptly puts it, your temporary girlfriend can also trun out to be a knowledgeable guide, leaving you time to find a new strength for the next bed session.

There is also an Internet Cake directly across the blvd fron Izvor metro stion that has some, but quality wasn't too good.

Disco Herastrau has been an institution for years in Bucharest. You can think of it whatever you want - girls too pro, to expensive.

For me it was everytime fun going there, although most of the time I left alone but drunk!

As the disco is closed now - for renovation or what so ever - I'm really wondering where all the girls are gone.

I'm sure that there must be another place where they are gathering, but so far I could not figure out where.

Perhaps not the same but if you're into clubbing Bamboo club has been renovated and the place is awesome.

A little bit off the Piazza Romana, huge club, well over 1000 ppl showing off in there, cool designed bridges/passageways between floors going over a pool, gogo dancers, champagne and an impressive percentage of all high maintenance girls and cars of the whole Bucharest ( for bangkok mongers : think BED on tuesday night on a bigger scale) Lots of people but still quite easy to get a drink at the bar ( good job from bartenders !). Music is a bit erratic though and I called it quit after a few songs of a local soup music (sexy) queen and 4 Long islands.

I sure owe a few rounds to the driver who adviced me that place!

About more sleazy aspects of Bucharest nightlife. Well, BBBJ and CIM are cheap and widely avalaible from downton street walkers but still you might ask before because not all are that willing, freelancers hang out in Planters , Office and a bunch of other places downtown. Mixed experience there, from very bad to not great.

Called a couple of internet escorts and it was a bit of an headache to know exactly where they stay, one should get a local sim card for that, will be easier.

Got a girl through pimp and the best of the experience was drinking while waiting in the Club and listening OK music (trance or house, forgot - forgot as well te name of the club. X something. Many middle men bring customers there so you might save a bit going to the club staight and talking to te manager.

Tried a couple of Night Clubs as well, one was pretty cool with 12 decent looking girls who suddenly woke up and danced all over the place when I came in. Climbing poles upside down and quite a bit more. Yep, think I remember the name. Should be "Milliardaire". I declined to get them drinks but it might have been a good idea, champagne bottles run around 100 euro, still far less than in Paris discos - and prolly Paris hostess clubs, which I don't patronize

Otherwise I could feel it might be a good place to be an expat, with cheap prices, lots of girls hanging around, cars driving fast without much hassle from police, and decent clubs -but quiet on week nights, only the terrace -which looked very good- from Bamboo was opened and Office was closed as well on sunday night.

Girls far less good looking than in Prag although might be my memory messed it up. Again.

Anyway next week end trip should be to Prag, Kiev or Frankfurt.

Back to Bucharest last week, tried a few clubs.

Cindy: waste of time, you will spend hundreds of euros before you get anywhere, we made our excuses and left (leaving two nasty looking dobermans in the courtyard behind us. I really wouldn't recommend the place.

Blue Moon on Magheru: Sad, sad, sad, No one in there (it was Saturday night) awful girls, and I saw no rooms for action anyway.

So, back to Leonardo (see a previous report).

As usual, superb, if pricey. Clean rooms and rather basic showers upstairs, and sofas instead of beds, but the service from the gilrs is great. Ask for the blonde, Nicoleta, tall, slim and great body, pretty face. It's 100 euros for one pop but you get DATY and kissing for that - if she likes you. I will be back.
