As a foreigner you'll not face any problems for bringing in girls, as long as you're not staying in a 2-star hotel.

If you wanna be totally confident, just go for a 4-star or 5-star hotel.

The cheapest and most appropriate 4-star hotel is the Mercure Hotel in Beyoglu that's just a 5-minute drive from Aksaray and right across the Irish Bar, James Joyce.

As the best 5-star hotel in town, I would thoroughly recommend the Swisshotel that's just a 3-minute drive from the Taksim/Beyoglu area in the center.

The special rate for the weekend( Friday, Saturday and Sunday ) including the taxes and breakfast for a room with the Bosphorous is 150 bucks ( I'm sure there must be lower rates for reservations from various countries via a travel agent)

I'm not an expert but I've made a few mongering trips to Iatanbul so PM me if you think I can be of any help.

I stayed at the Mercure Hotel on my first and second trips to Istanbul, it is reasonable value for money given that i was there as a tourist. As Vegamars says, the location of this place is very good, very easy walking distance to Taksim and short cab ride to Aksaray. Needless to say the Hotel was guest friendly.

I stayed at the Hilton about 2 weeks ago. My business prevented me from really pursuing action on Aksaray. On my last night I walked around Beyoglu and some Russian guy tried to talk me into going to a club. I declined. Later, on my way, back, he saw me again, and I declined. He then proposed that he send a girl to my room for $300M TL for 3 hours. I talked him down to $150M TL.

When the girl got to the room, she was a really attractive tiny Russian girl. She then asked for $300 M TL. I told her that I negotiated for $150 M TL. As it went, she stayed for an hour and that got the job done - I was tired anyway. Performance wise - she was not into it, but I got to go 2X with her.

I had heard that some of the 4-5* hotels can set up a girl for guests, is this true?
