Not that this deserves more discussion than needed, but I did click on the orginal link but Mick Licers map/info- which by the way is excellent - would not open. The link you provided did open.
Relax, were supposed to be assiting each other.
Mick Licker spent considerable time and effort putting together not only a great map but also lots of useful reference information. And if you clicked the first reference on the map, you'd get a link to a site with tons of information on MP, etc. http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=730486&postcount=625
You're original question was about location of a bj bar - that's geography. And if it took you hours to di-cipher the map, maybe it's time to get a pair of reading glasses. It will certainly help you to RTFF ;)
Hello...
Hi community,
After a seemingly long time I am going back to BKK in 2 days from the USA and have faint memories from my earlier trip there... can someone please advise me where should I go looking for fun if I reach Nana hotel at like 1 am in the night?
Also, has anyone ever left their luggage for a fees (of course) at the BKK airport? I have 2 big bags that I do not wanna lug around for 2-3 days that I am there - any advice on where I can put it in BKK airport?
Awaiting help,
-R.

R.
You can leave your luggage at the 2nd floor (arrival). Look for the sign Left Lugguage. I think the rate is 200 bath per day or part of a day.
Eagle - children under 90cm travel for free on the BTS*. Travel on the BTS is very cheap - longer trips cost around 35-40 baht, so don't worry, just go and enjoy it. It is definitely the way to get around Bangkok if the BTS goes near your destination. I also found it fun to go to the station by the river and grab the river express taxi (also incredibly cheap - like 13 baht - if you avoid the tourist boats) to go upriver and avoid Bangkok traffic and enjoy a nice ride on the river. You can see the connections on any tourist map - lots to grab at the airport for free.
Also, the smartpass is convenient, but you do not need to buy the smartpass - you can pay for each trip separately in convenient machines at each station. Just press the button for the destination station and the machine tells you the fare (based on a zone system).
*according to a number of websites I found by googling... e.g., http://bangkok.angloinfo.com/information/42/busses.asp
enjoy
Stew,
Thanks much appreciated. I know it's not necessary to purchase the smart pass, but I find it alot handier than purchasing a ticket for each trip. I tend to use the bts alot and the river buses/boats. Taxis used as a last resort. Thanks again much appreciated.

I would first call your airline and ask if they can store for you, then you do not even have to show up at the bagggare claim.

There is a luggage place on the 2nd floor. Not to expensive. Make sur to lock your luggage, there have been reports of theft from there. But overall it should be pretty safe.

Yes I've done that before - I guess its like 100 baht per day per bag. The place is, if I remember it, near the 'P' area. Anyway the information desks will direct you there.
As for where to look for fun at one AM.. Nana is the area. Try to leave for Pattaya as soon as possible though.

At 1 am Thermae Coffee Shop (around Soi 13 - 15 on Sukhumvit) is an option.

Rbamane, unless you have a straight through connection, it is highly unlikely that airlines will look after your stuff. Storage is widely available at the airport.
If you are staying at Nana hotel, walk outside and take your pick from between 300 to 500 lonely girls, all interested in relieving you of some of the contents of your wallet.

As far as I remember there are two baggage storage offices. Check the airport site for that or ask info desk upon arrival. They are open 24hrs.
Last April I paid 100 baht for about 6 hrs but I think this is a 24 hrs charge for every bag.
They will not accept laptops in the luggage. They do screen them.

Short time in BKK
I will have a quick stop over in BKK in late August. At most 4-5 hours - any suggestions as to whether Annies or Tulips would be the best bet. I am looking of course for a good time, most likely a 'double' and 2 hours would be sufficient there. I will most likely be taking the BTS - though not sure where I will be staying as yet. Any advice is appreciated.
Heya guys,
Anyone know a good driver that will hire out for a few days? We basically are not looking to get into a cab with someone that has no references and you guys seem to be on top of things around here. Cheers - DD
I always use a fellow named Boon whenever I go from Bk to Pattaya. Really nice guy, always on time, nice car, good safe driver. On my first trip to P. with him he told me I was tipping him too much. No idea though if he would be interested in what you want - he might be able to make more money going to P. and back a few times. But his number is 0843578957.

Guy I Use
Mr Rung : 0895599755 Have used him on a couple of long haul trips ( 5 - 6 hr each way) he quotes a fixed price. Expenses he will discuss if overnight, or for meals. Normally stocks the car for me with what I like. I consider him a gent. Last trip to Hua Hin, local guy said he was cheaper from BKK than would be return, turned out to be true.
Regards,
I have been to BKK before but I was looking for someone that has references and offers that personal service. Last time I was there I had some issues with the drivers and I now refuse to just pick any driver without references. The guy wanted to charge me over 14000 for 3 days when we agreed on 8000 for the 3 days 8 hours of driving a day including gas. Needless to say I didnt pay the 14000 but I did pay the 8000.
Also departgure level as a baggage storage. remember to allow at least 15 minutes for recollection as for 2-3 days luggazge is taking into another area. take the departure level one as you will already be close to the check-ins, so less of time wasting on deperture. From ther eyou exit and take a taxi meter to town. Any info desk will tell youwhere the storage is, behind the check in rows after you enter the hall. Your passport will be copied for reference and you will pay at collecting time. Entrance door is small, so sometime hard to find: a bit right from the center of the bulding
