Old kool is on the move very soon. I have some non pros lined up but FOD is on my bucket list. Looking at a Monday or Tuesday stay. Will there be good action. I enjoy dancing and screwing. Will I be happy. Can I got a room upgrade or any perks for good PR. I have a small following on the board.
Dear OldKool,

At the FOD we always appreciate the word of mouth of satisfied guests and we understand that it is people like you who drive our business. If you actually do refer us guests (and they verify that by telling us your name when they check in) , we will gladly offer you tokens of our appreciation like free room upgrades, free drinks and, most valuable of all. Our eternal gratitude. If you do come and spend time at the FOD, do not hesitate to ask for me. Looking forward to meeting you.

Jeffrey

I received the following email (edited somewhat) a little while back from one of the board members (polyorchid) who visited the DR in August the first time and was staying in Cabarete. He had rented a motorbike. A fun thing to do in a tropical island one would think.

Just wanted to forward this so guys are aware of the risks of a two-wheeler. This friend has had a close call and we all hope he gets better with each passing day.

Thanks.

[i]Saturday, October 13, 2012 8:34 PM.

I was in a major motorcycle accident on Ocotber 1. I was turning left in Cabarete and a car passed and broadsided me at about 45 mph. I was unconscious for an hour and have very blurred vision and dizziness.

I was in Sosua hospital for several days but am now back in USA. The docs have given me prism'd lenses on my glasses to correct dobule bision. They feel it may right itself within six monthS. If it doesn't, they will do surgery to crrect it. A routine operation, they tell me.

I'm in USA, recuperating. Can't walk very well, also have cracked ribs. Asi es la vida.
Dear Combo,

Thank you for the opportunity to answer your questions on ISG as they might be read by others who are equally interested and uninformed. By far the best place to get all the information that anyone could ever need, as well as photos, rates, events and a comprehensive FAQ's page, is our web site located at:

http://fieldofdreamsadultresort.com.

In response to your questions in the order that they were asked and in point form:

- The FOD (Field of Dreams) is located directly across from the employees' entrance to Playa Dorada, a mere 20 minutes or so from Sosua. As we are actually situated east of Puerto Plata (on the Sosua side) there is no danger of inadvertently being stuck in local traffic. Our sign stands directly on the main road and we are very easy to find.

- We always have a good selection of chicas on site (about 15 to 20) and unlike many other resorts of our kind, we welcome anyone that you care to bring with you.

- BB's is located on the far west side of Puerto Plata in the residential community of Costambar and we are situated on the east side of Puerto Plata before you actually hit the city coming from the airport. Each has its own benefits geographically with the Field of Dreams being right across the street from Plata Dorada with its Robert Trent Jones Sr. Designed golf course and small shopping mall with restaurants and bars.

Anyone from ISG who comes and visits the FOD will be treated with that extra special attention that this forum demands for its members. Trusting that this answers your questions, you may reach me here or feel free to send me e-mails from any of the Contact Us forms on our web site.

Jeffrey
Thanks. I'll probably check it out on my next visit. So do many of your guests take advantage of the golf course next door? I can't fuck all day and night, so it's nice to

know other activities such as golf are possible.

Jeffrey
I'm coming down for my 1st short trip in November but I'm already booked at other places. If I like DR, I'll come back with a stay at FOD. Just curious, does FOD have any line on scuba diving opps, or would I have to go into Sosua myself and use one of the local operators there?

As a PADI certified diver myself, I can refer your to a very good organization that can handle all of your dive needs. Notify me in advance of when you would like to come to the FOD and we'll work out a good day for you to dive and what individual needs you have (do you need all equipment. Are you bringing your own regulator. Etc.).

Field of Dreams will be closed this Saturday (27 Oct) afternoon for a private party. Only invited guests will be admitted (plus, of course, anyone already booked into the hotel and their guests.)

One of these parties was arranged three months ago and it was a great success. As far as I know, only one ISG member attended, Doker44, and he gave it a review here: post #6313 in this Puerto Plata section.
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?504-Puerto-Plata&p=1302648&viewfull=1#post1302648

Admission is 500 pesos and all this money is shared among the putas present who guarantee to go at least topless. Last time about half stripped off completely. This ensures that any puta who does not pull a client at least gets food and transport money for attending and helps to keep them in a good mood. If a guy gives you a ride chip in for his gas money.

Normal bar and food prices apply. Bar prices are reasonable at FoD.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has not visited FoD to see it at its best and also for anyone new to the North Coast to meet a lot of other mongers in a safe and friendly environment.

Over 20 guys have already promised to attend. I imagine the final total will be nearer the 30 we had last time, though not all stayed all the afternoon. There were about 25 chicas present last time.

Last time was hot and sunny all afternoon. This time we may get some showers but there are plenty of covered areas and they won't spoil the fun.

If you would like to come, make your own way there or turn up at Rocky's Bar at 1. 00pm. Some guys will have spare seats in their cars and the rest will walk to the publico stand and commission dedicated publicos to take you to the inner gate at Field of Dreams. If four guys share a publico instead of the usual 6 it should cost 100 pesos each.

This is a Private Party for invited guests only. If you wish to attend you must PM me by Friday afternoon latest so that I can notify the organizers, otherwise you will not be admitted. Read Doker44's post cited above about this.

The other reason for prior notice is so that the bar can start a tab in your name (real name, nickname, ISG handle, or whatever). Of course, you are welcome to pay as you go (like I always do) but a tab is handy if you want drinks sent to the pool or to a room.

I hope one or two of you can make it and look forward to meeting you there.

I have a friend who is coming. It is his first trip speaks no spanish.

I will be in DR in Feb. I will be staying at BB with a group of friends for one week. I will be in town either a week before or a week after the gathering with me friends. I will most likely be staying at FOD for a few days. I am not sure where I will be staying the rest of the time yet. I will not know until I get my vacation schedule for next year. I too would like to do a day or two of diving. Any info would be a great help.

I am not sure what this big tittie ladies is but she tells me she wants to suck my dick. I love cupid and the DR. So many women and so little time. Are there working girls at the pure disco. I love to dance and chase women. I hope I can do both in one place. I am still mourning Classicos not being on par.

JJ.
I'm already booked for Blackbeard's in November and they said they are no longer hooking up with scuba operators as tours. So I'll have to wait until I get over to Sosua later in my trip and use one of the local operators in town for diving.

I was at BB last Feb with this same group of friends. While I was there I tried to get over to Sosua through BB. They said the dive shop would only arrange it if there were enough people interested in the day trip. The only other options were to take a taxi or public transportation. I passed.

This next trip I will have more time in DR. Was even thinking of staying a few days in Sosua. I know there is a dive shop there. I was thinking maybe there was something closer to BB.

Let me know how you do if you do make it diving.

JJ.
