As someone who is mid-20s such as myself I get kinda turned off by the scene in Blok M. Yes, Top Gun does have the youngest talent out of all the bars in the street but let's face it how many of them are actually under 30? Only a few. I swear I saw a 55-year old hag trying to negotiate with another monger in D's Place (Yup, I asked about her age).

By the way, in Kota they're not only from Indramayu, I've seen from Bandung, Cirebon and even Manado.

I think the main difference between the two scenes is that the girls in South, except for those in Maribaya, are "take-aways", while those in the North are generally for "in-house" activities.

There are girls from Indo, PRC, Vietnam, Thailand. Many nice girls.

It's nice that the girl joins you in the spa and you can play / talk.

With her, get some massage before going to the room.

I would not recommend take out, I've done it a few times, but did not felt I got good values for it,

I know that these products are avaiable but I prefer some of own local stuff when I travel, usually bringing 1 or 2 bottles for myself and maybe some hard liquor as well. Is the prices for alcohol comparable to my purchasing in duty free?

I have been lucky and managed 1 bottle 1. 5 liters, but they scan the bags and can see if you have more and they mark with an X in chock and then they ask you to open so they can inspect.

And in Blok M for example many's the time a girl will contemptuously refer to another girl as "Indramayu". The irony being that the girls from Probolingo or Semarang selling their snatch's on the Blok consider themselves further up the social ladder than their compatriots from Indramayu.

But it gets more complicated, they consider an Indramayu girl will use "magic" to take a customer from them or if any misfortune occurs. At times remarkable levels of vehemence.

Years ago I went to Indramayu and a village near it (forgot the name) that was supposed to be the real provider of the Jakartan Indramayu girls. I spent there a couple of nights in search of the unspoiled "personal assistant". A discotique, a street with bars, even a joint in another kampung near Indramayu, only thing that was possible is to have a drink with the girls there and do some indirect touching.
