Thanks for your unsolicited advise. Appreciate it. I did visit PP but didn't see anyone interesting. I bar fined a girl from a loco but she was in mid twenties nothing much to write about. Two visits to Naga world didn't yield much. I did visit Pontoon but again nothing happened. Didn't feel very enthusiastic to put in a report, given I didn't do much. I refrained from st 104 bars as I thought the girls were too young and from 136 bars as they were too old. That left me with only St 130, naga world and pontoon.

Imo most of Street 130 is a write off especially the most discussed places like Loco and Angry Birds so I understand why you said you didn't see anyone interesting. What about Street 110 and 118? Total so far = $17 usd.

The girl will take you to the Happiness Guesthouse on St 51, a short walk away. Nice room with aircon and hot water, $7 usd. Girl will ask $40 usd to do the deed, but when offered $30 usd will agree immediately. Of course this negotiation is done in LE Cyrcee before agreeing to take her. Upon finishing the deed the girl will say how most mongerers will give her $40 usd, because they are so nice! As if I hadn't heard all this BS before. Ask for a photo and tell her that you will give her one dollar for the photo as a tip, and that will shut her up (as they won't agree to a photo).

Total spent $54 usd. Too much. I need to find a cheap freelancer somewhere next time.

I am very interested in visiting PP and Cambodia in general, which might be another year out, unfortunately. In your experience, how does PP compare to BKK in terms of price overall? I know its a much, much smaller scene and I realize it is not a Top 10 monger destination. But, that is no my sole reason for visiting Cambodia. I am getting the feeling that Cambodia is the place where a lot of extra costs (tips, mandatory payments etc.) add up and reduce the value of the mongering experience, and possibly non-mongering activities. It is always useful to get feedback on one's options.

BTW, I just back from the DR, which is a wonderful place to monger and relatively cheap. But, you have that problem with various parties wanting a "propina", not to mention each girl will almost hitting you up for one, before leaving.

Sorry for the delay in posting, I'm back from PP and and the memories are fading but thankfully I took notes so will carry on with the trip report on a day-by-day basis.

Guys in those bars always look like they're having fun.

As for laid back, it may be the case but the issue with PP you may have is that many times when you walk into a bar you will be the only or one of 2-3 customers. Girls are on you like stink. At Cyrcee for example you will usually be the only guy in the bar and I still remember the first time I walked in and 20+ girls swarmed me and a few were fighting for pole position. I look back and laugh because the only one who wasn't desperate and sat back was the one I chose, Ah Pov. This happens at many bars in PP. It's a bit awkward if you like a few of the girls but only want one for that particular night.

Thermae is great. I can sit in there for hours and just people watch. It's a human social experiment in itself! I find the girls hot and if you hook up with the right one it's great.
