100 dollars US is a lot of money in the DR. I have had some uninspiring casa experiences for that 100 bucks. With a little work I cultivate a good relationship with a chica who wants a good relationship because she benefits. To the casa chicas you are number. Where as the non and semi pros want the repeat business so they work a little harder in most cases. May be I am deluding myself but I believe some of the chica are having a good time to. I personally treat them with respect and sometimes give them a boy friend experience. You play with mine I will play with yours and we are both happy. Having some one to go to the casino, disco and dine with can be a nice thing. I even have a SW buddy who I met at Pacos. I have her number and sometimes when I stop by Pacos with talk like old friends. Is nice to have people you know when you are far from home.

That building has various other businesses. The name of the building is something like Plaza Gudiry. Adjacent to this building (west) is Arysmendy Motors (car dealer). I have always driven or driven with other mongers in their cars to GBP, I have not taken a taxi to GBP. If I did take a taxi, I would have the driver drop me in front of the building where GBP is located or in front of Arysmendy Motors. GBP is on Avenida 27 de Febrero, the main avenue in Santo Domingo, where GBP is located, Avenida 27 de Febrero is at least an 8 lane road. During evening rush hour there will be bumper to bumper traffic on Avenida 27 de Febrero. A taxi driver is not entitled to some kickback from a venue because he drove a monger to a place that the monger asked for. Taxi guys who drive mongers to venues that the monger did not know about will try and get some money from the venue. If a guy goes to GBP, pay the taxi driver 150-200 pesos, the driver doesn't have to accompany the monger up the flight of stairs and enter GBP.

Walking on Avenida 27 de Febrero in 90 degree heat with 8 lanes of traffic to my side, is not for everyone (to save 2-3 dollars you could take gua guas or carros publicos or walk part of the trip to GBP). Later in the evening, I don't think you want to be doing too much walking on 27 de Febrero near where GBP is located. It is not a bad area, but there are not many people walking around in that area.

My last trip, I drove on Avenida Lincoln from the Malecon north past avenida 27 de febrero, (unplanned, because I know the traffic on Lincoln can be terrible). At around 1pm, from the Malecon to get past Avenida 27 de Febrero on Avenida Lincoln took 25 minutes (distance of about 20 blocks or less). If you are in zona colonial and you drive or take a taxi to GBP you may want to try and get on avenida 27 de febrero near zona colonial and when you get to Lincoln make a U-turn on Ave. 27 de Febrero to get to GBP. Taking the malecon or bolivar (I have sat in bumper to bumper traffic on Bolivar in the afternoon) to lincoln and then heading north to ave 27 de febrero, could take a while in the afternoon. GBP is on ave. 27 de febrero, between lincoln and tiradentes.

GBP is closed Sunday and is not open late during the week. When you are ready to return to your hotel after being at GBP you can ask one of the chicas or the bartender to call a taxi for you (if you don't have a cell phone or a taxi driver number).

I posted pics of the street where Playboy Palace is located. BQ Ribs has posted photos of the outside where Playboy Palace is located, there is no sign outside playboy palace, just a door with tinted glass (the door is usually locked, knock on the door and wait) , on the wall near the door will be the number, something like 355 (on calle mercedes) about 3-4 blocks from pacos cafe.

I have had nice chicas from Remington Palace (I miss that place) , Casa Azul, Lapsus, Elegant Center (now Sky High) and Yellow House (almost in front of Jaguar Hotel, closed 5 years ago). Another thing to mention about GPB is that there will be no bed. Don't know if that's a showstopper, but they actually put sheets on the couches and long chairs in there. Never trust a dominican from off the street that speaks english cause they are likely to want to hustle. Its nothing to give someone a couple hundred pesos for help and info but make sure the price is set before you take their services. How much was fabio asking for? As for the weed and 16 year old, you will be safe with him from the police or thugs. You just have to watch out for him cause he is a hustler. You have to stand your ground and always ask for the price up front.

I am currently SD and yesterday I check in the Jaragua and BOTH chicas I was talking to are in the lobby giving me the evil eye. I calmly check in and IGNORE both of them. Did I fuck up? Did someone drop dime? Don't know and don't care, yes they are both fine but FUCK that I am in santo Domingo. With all that bluster? I go up make a few calls and grab some drinks at the club, then go up to my room only to pass out without much of a whimper.



After weeklong of deadlines, calls and meetings, those two hour sleep days finally caught up with me I woke up at 2am feeling groggy and with a terrible headache-wimped out and stayed in.

He goes up to the ladies / cashiers and then comes back to me and tells me with a straight face: 2, 000 pesos for one girl, and 2, 500 for two. Like a dummy, I believed him, thinking that they perhaps recently went up on prices. When I went to pay, you best believe the cashiers up front aren't going to say 'Sir, you overpaid! '. I didn't just let myself get ripped off 1 time, but I let myself get ripped off 3 times, as that's how many times I went there. Don't get me wrong. I fucking loved that place. The women there put it on me good and it was my favorite club in SD, but I truly believe that the taxi dude made a deal with the chicks up front whereas they charge me GRINGO prices, then they kickback perhaps the entire 1, 000 pesos to the taxi dude while I'm in the room fucking the chica. I should have questioned the price more and I also definitely should not have had the taxi guy accompany me to these spots. Guy was perhaps making all kinds of money off of my ignorant ass. Once I read the ISG forum again and really believed I was being ripped off, that taxi guy was fired as well. After that, the only time I took a taxi was when I was going back to the airport.

- Don't let anybody walk with you anywhere. My God, I got so sick and tired of guys coming up to me telling me about clubs that I already know about and trying to accompany me to these clubs. I understand now that they were all looking for some of kickback from either the club or from me. Towards the end of my trip, I started developing a very bad attitude and started walking around mean mugging anybody who got too close (well, outside of any redbones with a phat ass). I wish that I didn't let things get to me like that. It's just that although I had a lot of it in Sosua, this just seemed to be 10 times worse and I really like to walk to check out a city. All these touts coming and running up to me (I almost decked one guy – don't run up on me, not cool)

- Casas in the Hotel Jaguar area Expensive man! When it came to the casas in the Hotel Jaguar area (Indepedencia, Pasteur ave) , out of the 3 weeks I was there, I had sex with 2 chicks out of Lapsus. 1 chick from Sky High, and 1 chick from Girls house. Paid 3, 000 – 3, 500 at each one of them. No actually I paid 4, 000 for one chick at Lapsus because it was my first night, the chick was unbelievably fine with a phat ass, and I didn't understand that if I would have just taken the chick to my room, it would have been 3500. It's 4 mil if you fuck inhouse at Lapsus. However, after these 4 experiences, I refused to pay anybody else 100 US for a piece of pussy. That's just too much. I still occasionally went to these spots, but unless I saw a chick looking like Beyonce with an ass like Serena Williams, I wasn't paying the money and would just drink my beer and go home solo. I really should have tried harder with negotiating some after work hours pussy. Shit, late in my trip, I saw one of them LAPSUS girls around 3am walking to the busstop area, she saw me, we struck up a convo and she fucked me in my room for only 1500 pesos.

- Don't drink the water (or the Orange Juice. Or the Apple Juice). My first week, I was on the toilet a lot. I originally assumed that I ate some bad pork at Manolos, but can't confirm. However, I know for sure that my stomach could not handle the store bought (from la cadena supermarket) orange juice. I will not gross out the forum, but that juice messed me up pretty bad. After suffering for a while and finally realizing that Pepto bismol wasn't working for me, a lady from the pharmacy told me that I must have a stomach infection, gave me some good pills, and it cleared me up a day later. After that, I drank bottled water only, nothing else (well, outside of an occasional Presidente). Since being home and drinking the orange juice here, I've had no problem. I just don't get it, but my stomach couldn't handle it up there, so something must be different. Maybe it contained bad water. Who knows.

- Had greater sex with the lower priced places. Overall, the sex was better with the local streetwalkers, semi-pros, and the lower end casas. I think that on my next trip, I want to be closer to the El Conde area. Fuck the 100 dollar casa area. Hell, I had better sex at much lower prices while hanging out at El Conde or visiting the Playboy Palace (in that same area) , or going out to GBP (as mentioned earlier, I stupidly paid 2, 000 pesos, but that's still cheaper than these 100 dollar casas). My session at Playboy Palace (I paid 2, 000 pesos there too, did I get ripped off again?) was mind blowing, dfk, CIM, two pops. In the El Conde area, I started a routine of going out there around lunchtime, eating at Pacos and checking out all the talent. Got a couple of great sessions from doing that. After getting back to the U S and reading the forum, I found that I was hitting that area way too fucking early. Should have waited closer to dusk. I feel that next time, I want a hotel in that area, versus the area I was in or perhaps if someone know, a hotel that's safe walking distance between El Conde and the independencia / Pasteur area. However, for the most part, I didn't see too much in these spots that I was interested in at all, except for those waitreses in the casino. DAMN! I loved the way they wear those Orange outfits. Cameltoe city baby!

- Not a fan of the casa lineups. That shit got old quick. Every casa I went to, there was a routine of all the ladies lining up in front of you and that's not a bad thing. It's nice to see all these beautiful bodies and seeing what the lineup is. What got on my nerves was how they would stay there until either I picked one of them (which I'm not ready to do, I just fucking got there!) or be a little rude and tell them somehow to go away. - 3 weeks in SD is way too long. I did go to Boca Chica for 1 day, but I wasn't a fan of Boca Chica. Boy, there are a lot of vendors on that beach!

I know this post sounds as if I didn't have a good time and I know it sounds as if I'm a huge complainer, but I'm just being honest guys about what happened and things I didn't like. My intention is also not to put down the city. It was my first time, so I'm sure there's a lot of good shit that I completely missed. I give the trip overall a 7 out of 10, but I realize that I could have had a better time if I would have researched this forum better, so that's on me. Bottom line, I had some great sex with some beautiful women out there and I love the Dominican Republic. However, any feedback that you can give or suggest will help me make my second trip a whole lot better.

Walking to GBP from Pacos / Grands, probably would take 45 minutes to an hour. I like to walk, but I wouldn't walk to GBP from zona colonial, too far in the heat and not really an interesting walk. Walking around in zona colonial or walking to zona colonial from gazcue is more enjoyable for me (stores, old buildings, more people walking around).

Playboy Palace and the new place Cafe Cita Bar are a 5 minute walk from Pacos. Cafe Cita Bar is 1/2 block from playboy palace, on the same street, calle mercedes. Calle Mercedes runs parallel with El Conde and is one block (street) north of El Conde. I saw two attractive women the one time I stopped inside cafe cita bar. BBL gave Showgirls a good rating. Showgirls is on Kennedy, I believe near Maximo Gomez (I have not been to the Showgirls in Santo Domingo).

Closing time from what I remember was around 10-11pm. Opening time was around 1pm. If you show up less than an hour before closing time, you might get a better price if you want to take a chica out of the place. Some of the GBP chicas work on the side when they are not at GBP. Some might give their number when you are alone with them or give you their number some other discreet way.
