I flew from Manila directly to Siem Reap quite cheaply via Cebu Pacific Airlines.

Yes, Pub street is as you say, very touristy and the prices jacked up. You can still get beer for 50 cents from some restaurants. Best to eat off the Pub street, the local Cambodian places. I think Cambodia and Thailand are very similar, I would prefer Phnom Penh for two reasons, one is its cheaper and I'm not rich, and secondly and more importantly when considering a place to live the visas are extremely easy where as in Thailand they are anything but (basically would have to get an education visa and go to language school)

As far as girls go Cambodian girls are either hookers or virgins until marriage (99% of the time at least) and overall just arent very into sex or horny.

Thai girls are much better at acting like they are into sex but its quite obvious its all about the money.

Filipino girls are just horny as can be, they enjoy the sex more and you can walk down the street and get smiles from many many girls, its a completely different world there, if you want to live in manila or cebu city its probably closer to Thailand price than cambo price, but angeles is about the same as Cambodia.

Regarding living cheaply later on, there is no way I can live in California, USA in a USA government pension. I might get some from work but it will not be much. I'm done with work in a few years (although a recent investment that went belly up may require me to work a bit more ). I have two apartments in Manila so will live in one, rent the other and have a fair amount of cash but not necessarily enough for next 30 years. First, thank you for your reports. I will read them again, before my next trip to Cambodia. I am a newbie, but I did not want to go to Thailand. I been in Thailand many time, but on family holiday, with only small mongering (massage with "happy ending" etc). So after my divorce I wanted to go for a "new area".

- Is the road between PP to SR really that bad or is it smooth freeway. In other words, would I get there much faster if I hired a car instead of a public bus?

- Or is it better to fly from PP to SR and how much would that cost?

- Is Cambodia cheaper than Thailand for buying Anti-Biotics, Viagra, Cialis and all that stuff? Easy to get?

- Any recommendations for good places to stay with indoor safe and wifi in PP and SR?

- Where are the latest P4P hotspots? Any recommendations?

Anyway, around 7-8 PM go on foot or take motobai or motorickshaw to these coordinates: 13. 361250, 103. 853100 (just paste them in to google maps search). Get off near Kazna Hotel and follow narrow alley to the point. There are some chicken houses with girls sitting around entrances. Ask for Tea (End of May 2013). She's 1, 50m absolute stunner.
