Clarita's is like $70 a night and one night free if you stay four.

Me and my friend are staying in Jaco for one night. We definitely want to meet some girls at Cocal but the rate there the night we'll be in town is 290. This is well above what we're willing to pay. I saw Crocs is a better price. Should we stay there and bring a girl back?
I noticed a few less expensive hotels very close to Cocal. Are they girl friendly?
Need advice.
Thanks guys.
Anyone in Jaco currently? I am here today and tomorrow. Send a PM.

Thanks guys.
Croc's is a great place to stay and you have WiFi. They allow chicas after 6 pm and the ride back and forth from Cocal is 2,000 colones. I had toda la noche every night. The Mango Mar is next to Cocal and is about $100 a night.

I was there last week for 2 nights. I was going to go out on my first night, a Monday, but then it started raining like crazy. So I stayed in. I had a good lay the night before, so I was OK with staying in. I went to the Cocal Casino on Monday night and I seen about 50 girls. I was told Tuesday is a very bad day to go. The girls said on the weekend there are too many people and it gets so crowded people with bump in to you etc. The girls there are very aggressive. Even though I was talking to two girls, another girl tried to steal me away and the two girls were like, what are you doing? The bartender gave me my change and another girl comes up to me and says me the money. I was like what? Then the two girls and her ladies friends where like, what just happened? You cannot stand alone for long without women "bothering" you. But. I think if you are a regular there, then the ladies don't bother you as much. Or I am too handsome. I don't know. LOL.
Anyways, after hanging out with quite a few girls I finally go with a 22 YO local. Now I have been to every country in the Americas except Belize, which will be coming up very soon. The Costa Rican chicks are fun to hang out with. They will just talk and talk and talk and talk some more even after sex, or if you have no intention of sex. The girl asked for $150, and it was near impossible to talk her down. We agreed to $100, plus a good tip. She said she promises to me make happy. She must have been screwed over many times because she insisted on putting money on the table. Anyways, service was pretty good actually, but she refused to do BBBJ. Everything else was great. I still had to spend up some Colones and she asked if I wanted to go have some drinks. So we went to a karaoke bar which was just outside my Airbnb.
We honestly had a good time as she speaks very good English. And she didn't mind kissing in the club once in awhile. After about an hour in the club I could tell she was trying to get me in the mood to go back to my apartment. Well, I know that wasn't going to be free, so I said I am just going to prepare my things for leaving tomorrow.
I walked up and down the main street during the day, but I didn't go looking at any other bars at night. The Cocal actually closes kind of early, probably because it is also a hotel. The girls where telling me the places they go after the Cocal closes, but usually during week days they just go home. On weekends they will go to places like LE Loft, a club called "Orange or something, and another club called "Blue Bar" or something like that. There are still lots of ladies at the Cocal. I only looked on a Tuesday night. On the Weekend I think ladies come from other cities.
Gagoo,
Thanks for the latest.
The clubs like Orange pub, Monkey bar, Jaco blu all have theme nights or days when it's popping. If you think Cocal is packed check out Orange pub on a Friday, it's jammed out, lots of locals great experience but a bit of a younger crowd it might not be the scene for some. The Reggae night was at if I recall Monkey bar, great music if that's your thing but wasn't as crowded as I expected.
I'm getting the itch for a trip, might go back in February.
Hi folks,
I was reading forum and found Cocal scene is really lively on Friday and Saturdays. Any experience on Sunday or Monday. I am only able to squeeze these days for Jaco in my upcoming trip. Highly appreciate your thoughts.
Cheers.
What did you pay for toda la noche? Also how would you rate the quality of the girls you saw on a scale of 1-10.
I paid $100 the first night but the chica was from a massage place that I went to in the afternoon and she picked me up in her car after work. Then I paid $200 a night for my favorita who drove in from Cartago and stayed with me to checkout. She got a wristband from the hotel when she arrived. I was unable to come to terms with two or three Cocal chicas because of high asking prices and questionable attitudes. One chica wanted $200 for one pop or una hour whichever comes first.
Is it true that just recently, now the Cocal, does not allow anyone to enter unless they are staying at the hotel? Anyone visited recently?
Is it true that just recently, now the Cocal, does not allow anyone to enter unless they are staying at the hotel? Anyone visited recently?
No, I've been there the last 4 nights, anybody can go in and use the pool, eat, drink, pick up chicas, etc. Business as usual.
But wow, this is my first time here in 10 years and first time since they started allowing working girls. Lots of girls, but most of them are way too heavy for my liking. Like really fat! A couple of the very hot ones have given me some attitude and all insisted on getting paid up front, which is a deal breaker for me. My wingman took two for $100, one for $120. Hard bodies, but not a real GFE. We'll try again tonight.
